Ken is a "hands on" owner and always very concerned about whatever the problem is. We never have to wait long before he sends someone over to take care of our needs. A very professional outfit that we never hesitate to call. Highly recommended!!

They were nice and swapped out a broken faucet. They were at my home for about an hour. Cost $640 and that was haggled down from $700 because they inaccurately quoted me before the work. When I asked why the installation was so high, over $300, they said otherwise they would not make any money. There was no breakdown of where this price came from it seemed to just come out of thin air. Clearly a case of a successful business now charging a ridiculous price because their heads are stuck up their ass. I think it is more that they want to make as much money as possible. Found the same faucet for much less elsewhere. I bet they mark up their cost 300% as they stock their truck with the most popular model. They gave me a sales pitch about an extended warranty for three years but the invoice I received, which by the way did not have any description of the work they did or the faucet I purchased nor did it include my name or address - only the price tag, says all work is guaranteed for one year. I called to ask about it and they said oh that was the old policy now three years is the new policy. Well if you are going to use that as a sales pitch, can you at least spend a dime to update your invoice to back it up? No matter what the policy is it should not be inaccurately in writing and for that price, I should have a decent invoice of what I purchased. I am a stupid housewife who went with the first company I called because they were local and came early but I should've have had some patience, done my homework and shopped for a faucet that I actually like because the one I purchased from Kens is nothing special at all. Especially for the price I paid I could've gotten something really nice that I love and I could've found a plumber who would charge a fair price for installation. Also when my husband heard the price tag, his jaw dropped on the floor. Just saying. If I had it to do over I surely would.

For the last 2 years the float has been leaking causing the toilet to keep running. We had 3 plumbers come here to look at the problem. All saying there's nothing wrong with the float. The last guy changed the handle(Which was the wrong one) change the direction of the tube that feed water to the bowl. Once again telling us that we would have no problem with the water always running because of the float. 1 month later the float completely broke off. We called Kens they came in on time explain what they would do gave me a price. Replace the float changed the handle. And with that I had a peaceful night sleep not listening to the toilet run. Plus, the addition peace of mind knowing that I have a 1 year guarantee on the job done. You're my new go to plumber.

I had a heat pipe burst Christmas Eve (as many others did). I shut down the zone & called Ken's Plumbing Monday 12/26. They said they could get here at some time in the afternoon, which they did.... early afternoon too. This is a class business from the office personel to the clean, respectful, professional plumbers that did the repair.
I made a random call to Ken's based on their reviews. Best call I've made in some time. Would definately recommend, and I now have a plumber I'd definately use again.

I have used Ken's Faucet and Toilet Repair for years now and could not be more pleased. They are proficient, courteous, prompt, cost effective and honest. The young man who has done several repairs at my home is named Juan Silizear and he is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend Ken's Service for all of your plumbing needs. I have used Kens Plumbing for all types of household plumbing needs . My elderly Mom also uses them and feels comfortable with the gentlemen- they are extremely competent and reliable.

DO NOT USE HIM! I had Ken's plumbing come in to basically unclog a sink in my upstairs bathroom and a leak from a toilet on my first floor bathroom. While he was here I asked him to replace a handle (I bought) on the first floor toilet. All of a sudden my toilet was not flushing. I opened the tank and saw that instead of him attaching the link to the handle he used a PAPER CLIP! What a disgrace!

If you need a plumber you need only to call Ken at Ken's Faucets. There is no job too small. When you call you get a polite young lady to return your call within a half hour and will guide to as quick an appointment as possible. When they arrive in your home, they are polite and will assess the situation in favor of what is best for the customer and their safety.
I had a recent visit to repair a small leak and electricity got involved. I needed an electrician to fix something when their work was complete. My husband and I tried many electricians with no success. The next Am Ken called to see if all was OK. When I told him we couldn't get an electrician, he got on the phone and arranged several people to come over and help us. He was relentless and got everything fixed for us.
He even called later in the day to make sure everything was OK. All the people we worked with were kind polite and extremely professional!
We highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again although I hope we do not have any more leaks for a while!!

We have used Ken's in the past since his shop is around the corner from us. Each time they arrived very promptly and did a good job. We had a leak under kitchen sink and needed a new shut-off valve to turn outside
water off. They did both jobs in just over 1 hour, very neat and cleaned up well.

Definitely recommend Ken’s Plumbing and Heating - they are always quick to respond and they are efficient with their work. I also feel that they are honest with the work and I trust them plus they are always friendly.

I called on a Friday and was able to get an appointment for Saturday. I had a toilet that was starting to back up. My technician, Mario, came , he was very professional & polite. He had to work a little hard to clear whatever was clogging the toilet but was able to get the problem solved. I highly recommend Ken’s, & if you could request the technician, I would definitely ask for Mario.

These guys are the best, I call the night before and they are there the next day. Always fair on price. Highly recommend.

I have used Ken's 3 times in the past years on both big jobs and small. They are undoubtedly the best in the business. I would not use any other plumbing company for any of my needs.

Had two issues with the showers in both bathrooms. Plumbers came in assessed the situation and fixed the lack of hot water in the kid’s shower and then replaced the entire faucet mechanism in the main shower. They presented me with my options then did a quick and clean job. Very professional and neat. Thanks

Highly overpriced and tried to upsell unneeded services. Won’t be calling these guys again. It’s too bad, too, since I had some other work that needed to be done. Not at those prices. They’re trying to build business in Riverhead and I would have been happy to give them a solid review, but I wouldn’t recommend them now. Have your checkbook ready if you call this company.

We needed to replace a garbage disposal and fix a shower part. Mario took care of the disposal efficiently and timely. He found an additional issue that required a second visit. Ken, the owner, came the second time - really nice guy. He actually needed to do LESS than we thought. Very satisfied.

Ron & Ken did a great job! Ron is very knowledgeable and experienced as a plumber. He quickly did an assessment and both gentlemen worked diligently until the work was done. I had my toilet replaced, and he brought in a Kohler brand. Very pleased with new toilet. Ken installed and cleaned up the bathroom area he worked in. The tub & shower unit was loose and was tightened. My water shutoff valve needed to be replaced and utility sink faucets and Ron completed those tasks. They were on time and were finished in a timely manner. Very professional men and straightforward, did a great job. Very fair with pricing, we know plumbers charge but it’s worth it when you need repairs done and everything working efficiently. I highly recommend these plumbers.

The kitchen faucet was leaking and a real plumber gave me a quote of $225 to replace a gasket and make sure all the plumbing under the sink is good. Sounds reasonable. Ken's hacks and clowns told me it would cost $3800 to rip open my walls, and replace the entire sink because according to ken's hack, " These parts are no longer available. That's why you have to replace the whole sink." FALSE. I was immediately shocked why they had to rip open 2 walls to access my kitchen plumbing that's under the sink and fully exposed. It took 3 minutes and zero tools to hand me a VERBAL quote for $3800. Nothing in writing, no showing me the problem, what they plan to fix, NOTHING. Just a magic price from ken's clown hat to replace a gasket that a real plumber told me is a very common part and readily available for less than $20. DO NOT CALL THESE LOOSER CROOKS! They will not fix anything. They want $100 to come and give homeowners an absolute scam of a quote WITH NOTHING IN WRITING-EVER! kens hacks also said it would take a few days. The real plumber fixed it in less than 1 hour.

Obviously this is a common issue and victims take to google. The owner's 4 year old aggressive response to another victim was " We are not a free information service and you knew of the charges. We did what you asked us to do". WOW. An unhappy customer gets it twice by being charged for nothing, then the response of "It's your fault." Victim shaming. PATHETIC. Not responding to unhappy reviews and only the good reviews, prove what a hack, crook, bad person this is. Professionals welcome feedback, good or bad, and hopefully reach out to ask for a second chance to do the job right the first time.

This is the second time we used Ken’s Plumbing. They are reliable, efficient and charges fairly. Our plumber fixed our toilet quickly and made sure everything was working properly. Highly recommended!

I was really disappointed with interaction with Ken's Plumbing & Heating. It started from me calling and explaining the issue with flush valve for inwall toilet system and asking if the team has experience with systems like Gerberit. On the phone I was assured that after visit team will figure it out. When team came onsite clearly they were clueless about how to fix it, I gave instructions, manuals and information on the toilet and model. After 1h kicking tiers and providing not feedback team took 100$ cash and promised to get back to me with solution. Called back in a week explaining how expense this could be quoting addition $300+ to do the job. Just to set the context it's $40 valve replacement. Clearly trying to take advantage of their customers. Once confronted, Ken (the owner) instructed to drop the phone and conversation ended. I would not recommend to deal with these people and look for professional who can do the job, under promise and over deliver.

Update:
I would like to share that another local company I found came in with a very straightforward approach quote that was reasonable no bla bla bla. Came in, spend 30 min fixed and finetune everything. Parts are easily available on Amazon. Do not recommend working with Ken unless you want ppl deceiving you and charge above the market. BTW. I never received any parts Ken mentioned in this review. So he truly does not care what his customers think about his service. I'm sure I'm not a customer of Ken's Plumbing anymore and recommend others to think twice before trusting this company.
