I was very pleased with this company. They communicated with me a lot and completed the job in time. I am very happy with the final product. The floors and walls look wonderful, and the entire renovation experience went really well.

Used TCS to install downlighting and paint. Poor materials management from the start. The lights arrived to Andrew (the owner) one month before we started, but he failed to open the box & be sure they were all there. This resulted in a 7 day delay AFTER starting, during which nothing could be done (and the one bedroom apartment was unlivable) while we waited for the last light to arrive and then the electrician to be able to come back. Then painting began, and we had multiple issues, from not removing switch plates (painting around them at first, then breaking all but one when they replaced them, so I had to buy new ones) to patching some nail holes but not others, to multiple pieces of furniture damaged, to whether a second coat of paint was needed (it’s still needed on all the trim). Ultimately, the lights look good. However, if you need painting done, I strongly advise to hire a painter. This crew needs constant supervision to do that job right & to minimize damage to your items.

Aside from having used TCS to renovate my personal home, I also rely on TCS' expertise to maintain my investment rentals. To say that TCS provides great quality work is an understatement. More importantly, the owner of TCS is very honest, knowledgeable, humble and easy to work with. I've encountered living nightmares with other contractors who exaggerate prices and simply take advantage of people who are not well versed with renovations or repairs. I've had to learn the hard way - but and grateful that I now have a company that I can trust and depend on. I highly recommend TCS. They have gained a lifelong customer.

Andrew and his guys did a total renovation of my space in lower Westchester. It included a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom, drywall/Sheetrock, and a ton of flooring. He was responsive, the work was great, the price was right and he was great to work with. Most importantly he is a trustworthy person! I plan on using him again on my next big project.

Transformative Contracting Services did the renovations of my properties and their work was excellent. They installed a laminated floor and it came out beautiful! They also did an excellent job on painting and bathroom renovations. They also completed the work on time! The owner is very responsive. When I called for help, he replied immediately. It is rare to find a contractor with quick turnaround these days. I highly recommend them if you have any home renovations needs.

They renovated my kitchen floors wall new appliances backsplash pot filler. Painted my whole apartment and sanded and stained all wood floors

Andrew and his team renovated my personal condo in Nyack last year. They worked very diligently to get everything done to my liking and have me done with construction in a timely manner because I had already sold my previous property and had to live in a construction zone. I would strongly recommend TCS for all your contracting needs!

I trusted Refinishing Touch to remove and install new drywall in our home office & hallway closet, as well as install shelves and stain an old hard-wood floor. My father is a contractor and he was very impressed with their work. They painted the entire office perfectly, then sanded, stained and polished the floor, finishing in one weekend. What a deal!!! I'll be calling them the next time I need any home home improvements.

Me and my wife had a beautiful deck built. Mike removed the old and replaced it with the greatest deck. Great quality, great service and the price was very fair. He worked fast as well.

We searched on next-door for a reliable handyman. We had several posts but Mike looked good and is he good! We had a time limitation to meet the requirements of a mortgage lender he was there when he said he be there he charge what he said he would charge his work is great and we highly recommend him.

The Owner Mike did a very poor job renovating my house. He did not follow or he does not understand how to read architectural plans. He did not properly finish the job despite being paid. When we tried to let he know what the issues were, he refused to correct his poor workmanship. I would not hire this guy again if someone else paid .
