Worst customer service I’ve encountered and certainly not the usual Buffalo warm reception. Three employees and not one offered so much as a hello, smile, eye contact or help. I directly requested assistance from a new employee (per her) and she did the best she could. If not for her I would have left immediately after receiving the indifferent reception. I was looking to buy all new fixtures so I’ve taken my business elsewhere.

Revised my previous comment. Customer service has been better.

Mazza Mechanical is one of the finest HVAC and plumbing companies I've had the pleasure of partnering with. They are incredibly skilled and a pleasure to work with and partner with. They have a wide range of projects due to their adaptability and fantastic rates. Their work at Wellsville CSD Elementary School is the talk of the town, and it's all in a day's work for the team. Dan, AJ, Kris, Pat, Jason, Rick, Kyle, Lisa, and the whole Mazza crew are a dream team for the ages.

Very disappointing customer service experience. I spoke with a staff member (I unfortunately don’t remember her name) who was not authorized to make decisions, yet she acted as though she was. She refused to transfer my call to someone who could assist me further. This level of service explains the poor Google reviews.

Terrible communication, buyer beware!!!! I initially reached out to Modern Mechanical in September, through email, to get an estimate for installation of a new furnace at a property I was in the process of purchasing. Upon receiving the estimate, I reached out again, via email, two days later, asking how much it would cost to get the evaporator coil replaced for our existing AC unit while getting the furnace replaced. I was quoted an additional $900 for the coil replacement, including labor. Both the furnace and evaporator coil were installed in January, which I paid for at that point in time. The install included a new thermostat. They installed a manual thermostat to replace my existing programmable one, and only put in a programmable one when I questioned it. Strike one. I was also surprised that while the coil was installed, no one informed me that a follow up appointment was required and it wouldn’t be connected to the AC unit til the spring. I only learned about this when I called to question them after discovering it wasn’t connected. Strike two. The real kicker though came this morning. Modern Mechanical called me twice earlier this week to arrange completion of the work for the coil. I got an additional call around 7:45 this morning, ahead of an 8:30 appointment time, to “make sure we were on the same page.” I was shocked to learn that, throughout all of this communication, both by email and phone, since September, Modern Mechanical failed to mention that the new furnace and new coil were not compatible with my existing AC unit, so they would need to charge me an additional ~$4000 to put in an entirely new unit! Furthermore, I was only provided with this estimate 45 minutes before their arrival! When I questioned why this happened and why I was never told any of this prior to this morning, they verified nothing was ever sent to me and claimed they didn’t have my email address. This is a blatant lie. I called back to express my frustration at the complete lack of communication, shared that I felt backed into a corner, and asked how they would work with me to make this right. First, I was told that if I didn’t want the work done, their guys had plenty of other places to be. Then I was told that mistakes happen, I should have received an estimate, and again blamed the fact that they allegedly didn’t have my email address. After pushing back AGAIN, they offered me a measly $200 off of the cost. Do better by your customers! I do not recommend.

Highly recommend! Called due to a/c not working and sent someone out the next morning. Found the issue and repaired efficiently at a reasonable price!

We have 2 older furnaces that started giving us trouble and Brandon came out the same day and fixed them. Very reasonable!

Without any reservations I wold highly recommend Modern Mechanical if Orchard Park, New York. Starting with an “emergency“ visit on a chilly, early Sunday morning when we had no heat, Brandon was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and very informative in diagnosing what the issue with my furnace was. Although moving forward required a conversation with Trane the following morning, without prompting, Brandon reached out to me by 8:15 AM to let me know the outcome of that conversation and he assisted me you’re making decision as to what option to choose to restore my heat. Ultimately Matt and Chris installed a new furnace for us and were extremely efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and neat. My interactions with these three individuals leave me feeling very confident that I chose the “right” HVAC contractors.

I cannot say enough good things about this company, from my first interactions with Jackie straight through to my install team Matt & Chris everyone was so helpful and professional. Brandon was so quick to respond to all of my questions and worked to make sure I got my new unit installed as quickly ask possible after my old one broke. He even insisted that I could call if I had questions even if I wasn’t going with Modern Mechanical and I truly felt the commitment to customer service in our every interaction. Matt and Chris arrived early this morning, the hottest day of the year, and worked quickly to have me up an running by lunchtime. They work really neat and went above and beyond to make sure my system is set up properly and most of all safely.

I am so impressed and will recommend them to everyone!

Today was the second time we used modern mechanical for our home repair needs and both times the workers were efficient, honest, and hardworking. I especially appreciated that the team installed our new furnace on a Saturday to get our heat back on before the upcoming storm, when they could’ve made us wait til the next business day. I will always use them and I will always recommend them. Thank you!
