Professional and courteous

The service seemed fine as it appears but I can’t speak on that much because I haven’t used this company. I am leaving a review because the workers are so rude and unprofessional and I was walking by with my baby and the guys on the leaf blowers blew so much dirt in our faces and didn’t even stop as we passed by. I’ve seen these guys on several occasions and they have been rude and unpleasant. This is not professionalism or courtesy at all for the community.

I purchased three expensive ornamental trees from this company. The head of landscaping named John told me that the trees would be guaranteed provided that they were planted by his team to which I readily agreed
Two months after planting all the leaves fell off. I called John to ask about this thinking someone would come over and assess the trees. Not only did he not offer to do this but he started yelling at me saying I either under watered them or over watered them and therefore I was at fault and no assessment of the issue would be provided and certainly no refund. His accusations and outrageous yelling were actually alarming.
In 25 years of gardening I have never dealt with this degree of unprofessionalism I called the nursery manager Kim to file a complaint and she never got back to me. I will never use them again

Hudson Landscape is a wonderful company to deal with. Not only is the quality of work excellent, but John is always very responsive and Kim always goes above and beyond to help.

I have used Hudson for at least 30 years . They perform weekly maintenance in the summer and snow removal in the winter. . They have also done many special projects , planting, retaining walls and patios . I have also used them for tree work . They provide excellent service and their work is excellent

We first used Hudson last year, planting many boxwoods around our patios, a number of holly and for trees and some annual/perennial flowers. The service was spectacular.

We used them again this year and again an extremely quality service. One of the holly bushes from last year didn’t survive the winter (probably my fault) and they replaced it as part of this years work without me even asking.

Would highly recommend this company and staff. They were polite, helpful and did immaculate work.

I have been using Hudson for years. They do great work and they take care of everything throughout the season changes- it's like my property is on autopilot. They also built me a fenced-in vegetable garden and a second patio- both came out beautifully. They are very responsive to issues- definitely worth the money!

He has done everything for us over the years: our regular lawn service, turf care, and tick treatments; small and large plantings; redoing our driveway, patio, and sidewalks; rebuilding our front stoops; building retaining walls requiring engineering and architectural expertise; addressing complex drainage issues on our property; tree care (both taking down trees and curing sick ones); sprinkler system care and maintenance; and snowplowing. John, Kim, and every one of his employees are professional, attentive, communicative, reliable, and go above and beyond to meet my needs. They even do turf care to my front and backyards on different days so that my dog has a safe place to be at all times. I can't speak highly enough of John and everyone at Hudson Landscaping.

You really can't go wrong working with Hudson Landscape Contractors. I've been a customer for 10 years and really could not be happier. On lawn care days, they bring a squad that makes short work of it! You won't be hearing leaf blowers for hours, they are in and out with a crew larger than everyone else on your street. And when you need custom landscaping, plantings, carpentry, and advice about managing your trees, they have got your back! And when you get their snow plow contract, your driveway will be the first on your block to get cleared. No shoveling yourself out because you leave a little early! 10/10!

Hudson Landscaping has been taking care of our property since we moved here right before Super Storm Sandy in 2012! Through good weather and bad they have been very responsive to our needs and have kept our lawns and gardens looking their best, doing pruning and planting when needed as well as regular mowing and leaf removal. They take good care of some speciman trees. We use them for gutter cleaning and snow removal too. We highly recommend Hudson.

Hudson has made my property beautiful. They leveled my yard, installed stone steps and walls, a putting green and beautiful trees and shrubs that bloom all season. They even have their own nursery. In addition they have installed drainage systems following all codes and obtaining all permits. They came immediately when I had a fallen tree and are always reachable. John and his crew are extremely knowledgeable and I can’t recommend them enough.

John Gualteri and his team at Hudson Landscape Contractors and Tree Care Specialists have been the consummate professionals and have provided excellent service for the past 20 years. They have provided us with a full range of services from basic landscaping and design, to tree and lawn care services, to masonry, and building durable and beautifully designed stone walls and stairs. They're the best of the best and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

John and his team are our all-purpose landscapers. They provide us with routine services such as lawn maintenance, tree, plant and shrub care, leaf removal, sprinkler system maintenance and snow plowing services. We have also worked with them on many
special projects such as building stone walls, walkways and patios, designing and installing planting beds, installing a new driveway and resolving drainage issues around the property.

All of the onsite crews are hard-working, well-trained, courteous, respectful and are thus easy to work with. Office Manager Kim D. maintains great communications with customers and is very responsive when we have questions or requests. And we have always appreciated the professionalism, knowledge, creativity and customer service orientation with which John approaches his work with us. We have been extremely satisfied with all the work Hudson has performed, hence our long association!

We have had Hudson Landscape Contactors & Tree Care for more than 24 years. They service our property throughout the summer (great crew), they set up my sprinklers every year, all snow removal done by them (again a great crew) and I have also used them for tree work. I think using them guarantees a very professional job and any issues or questions are handled by them immediately. Can't go wrong using them.
