A great company starts with great people in the leadership. The leadership provides the culture and values that the company operates with. I can say from personal experience that the gentlemen that own this company are exactly the kind of folks you would want to welcome into your home to provide you with a service. They are the kind of folks who will do the right thing when no one is looking or do the right thing when someone needs help. Aj Cole and his team are those kind of people. You can't teach that, either you have it or you don't!!

AJ and Logan were wonderful to work with! They were willing to provide a rough estimate via email (when nobody else was) so I knew that I was not wasting their time or mine by having a salesperson come out to my house. When Logan came out to confirm that my duct work was indeed sufficient for the unit they had in mind, the final quote was exactly the same as the rough estimate that AJ had provided. The Simply Installs quote was literally thousands less than another one I received for a similar product and services. Communication from both AJ and Logan was exceptional, and the installation was fast, easy and professional. If you like working with professional and genuinely good people that will treat you right, these are the guys you want to take care of your heating and air conditioning needs!

Simply Installs is one of the relatively few businesses in our area that already has strong experience selecting/sizing/installing heat pump systems and is also on top of the various and changing government rebate/incentive programs associated with heat pumps. A couple of years ago they installed a heat pump/minisplilt system which we now use to heat our home in winter (gas backup) and cool our bedroom on very hot summer days. This is working well. We did have one operational problem some months after installation which Simply Installs corrected promptly when notified. Last month we had them replace a failing gas fired water heater with a new electric heat pump water heater. This has been a very positive experience to date.

I don't even know what to say besides AJ and Logan are amazing! They did our Central Air install last year and were amazing and had great prices! Then this year when our 20 year old furnace died, we had them return to do our new high efficiency replacement and again, a great price and very fast service with great advice! My fiancee and I highly recommend them!

The men at Simply Installs provided timely, professional, and high quality service this summer when they installed several Mitsubishi ductless AC units in our home. They were quick to provide a quote after providing a thorough review of our place; they thoughtfully strategized the best, zone-based solution to our AC problem and kept us involved throughout the process. Initially somewhat hesitant to have the units installed because of concerns about changes to our home's outdoor aesthetics, we were so pleased with the final results. Simply installs professionally matched our home colors and we barely notice the Mitsubishi system. Now, we are have a comfortable home with a collection of top-notch, energy efficient units and peace of mind that they were placed by excellent technicians. From estimate to execution, the Simply Installs team were terrific. They worked tirelessly through the Covid-19 pandemic, wore masks in our home, communicated with us throughout the project, and completed the enormous task in two days. We are very grateful to them and recommend them without reservation.

We were so pleased that we found Simply Installs. They recently replaced our central air. AJ and Logan were wonderful to work with. Very conscientious, prompt and so knowledgeable. Not only were we quoted a very fair price, it was also noted that less work was needed as our furnace is a pretty recent installation. No one else mentioned these things, just quoted the higher rates We were very comfortable using Simply Installs and will use and highly recommend them from now on.

Simply Installs fully replaced our whole home heating system. We had our boiler removed and replaced with 2 mini-splits on the main level, and a vented unit in our attic.

Since the installation, we've had many problems. They neglected to apply for a permit with the town, so now 9 months after installation I'm trying to get the town to sign off on the project. The main level mini-splits consistently keep the house 3-4 degrees warmer than the temperature we set, and there's no way to set a schedule on them to reduce the temperature at night. This is a very basic feature of heat systems that is missing on the units we were sold.

We also were told that our basement would be fine without supplemental heat. The boiler used to be in the basement generating heat, but now there's nothing down there warming up the space. After being reassured it would be fine, the basement has been in the low 40s despite running a space heater every few days. We've been worried all winter about our basement pipes freezing.

The installation job was tidy and well done, but I was disappointed at the administrative side of the project, as well as the process of advising us what system would be best for us.

Michael and I found our experience with Simply Installs to be excellent -from exploring possibilities for a major change in our entire heating system through the installation of the new system. Logan and AJ are an engaging, smart and skillful team - good listeners and dedicated workers. We highly recommend Simply Installs.

AJ and Logan did a great job replacing my 30+ year old furnace with a new high efficiency model. My particular unit has a defect with it through no fault of Simply Installs, yet they still were over with a replacement part within hours on a Sunday morning. Great customer service, great quality of work, and great cleanliness after the job was done. And all that at the best price around.

This review comes a bit late, but my experience with this company is one that I can’t keep to myself.

To say it short and sweet - Simply Installs is the best home contractor I have ever worked with – for any reason – for any service – period. Their knowledge, respect, skill, and work ethic is second to none. Now, if you’re interested in why that is, here’s the longer version:

A few years ago, I purchased my first home. This home had oil heat and no air conditioning. I knew immediately that this would be one of the first things I wanted to change. After researching the options, I figured I wanted to go with an air source heat pump. Simply Installs came up during a NYSERDA contractor search and I gave them a call.

Simply Installs was the ONLY company who could tell me UP FRONT what New York State incentives (Discounts $$$) I qualified for and how much they would credit me for them. Other companies (the big local names) said things like “We’re not sure, but we’ll get you the total before you pay” or “Well it should be a good amount and we split it 50/50 with the homeowner!” So, you’ll take half of my incentive money and pretend that you’re doing me a favor?

Anyway, because of this, Simply Installs’ pricing was fair and straightforward. Not only was their pricing this way, but their process and equipment selection was as well. The other companies sent out salesmen to my house- people will minimal technical knowledge. Simply Installs sent the owners. However nice this was, in hindsight I would trust anyone, owner or not, that this company sent to my house as if they were the owners themselves.

The other companies tried to sell me what they had high margins and quick turnaround times on: large central heat pump/ac air handlers to fit to my existing ductwork. Systems that would have performed mediocre at best because of the design of my ductwork. Simply Installs recognized this immediately and told me flat out that a system of that design would not perform to my standards.

The actual installation was fantastic. Over a week with a crew of 4 putting in hours to make it all happen. There weren’t any excuses. No uncertainty. Just keeping to a schedule and date and working hard to make it happen. The attention to detail was just top tier. Here are a couple of highlights:

Dave worked harder than I’m sure 99% of others would in order to build out a custom air return of the correct size and shape to fit a boxed out chase I framed specifically for the task. He sealed the entire thing with mastic and built it so the air going through it would slow down and not whistle or really make any perceptible noise at all while still flowing enough air to correctly supply the heat pump on my first floor.

The ductwork they built for my second floor was also a work of art. A round duct system reducing in size with each drop so that pressures and airflow were correctly balanced as the ductwork went around the upstairs. The entire thing was sealed with tape and insulated so it wouldn’t sweat or weep in the uninsulated area of the attic.

The line sets they installed to feed refrigerant to the heat pumps were first wrapped in a special UV resistant foam/vinyl material to protect and insulate them AND THEN taped on top of with an additional layer of tape which is nice and thick and protects the copper line sets even further. I remember specifically that they mentioned other contractors laughing at them for doing this saying it’s a waste of time – but that they didn’t care as the additional protection was worth the extra minutes to do the job. I would say I 100% agree.

I’m sure there are more details I am forgetting, but I hope these give an idea of the kind of service and quality you can expect from this company. They put everyone else to shame and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. If you’re on propane or oil heat especially – GIVE THEM A CALL! You will have more comfortable, efficient, and effective heat and the peace of mind that comes with it. If you want it done right, these are the people to do it.

My wife and I were incredibly impressed and happy with our heating and cooling upgrade done by Simply Installs. We received other quotes and from the conversation we had with Logan we felt he was the most knowledgeable of all the contractors. We live in an old house and needed some creative solutions to reduce our propane usage. The other contractors had solutions that would reduce it a bit, but Logan had a solution that would reduce it drastically.

All the work was reasonably priced and the installation was great. They worked hard and were respectful of our time and property. Being that the house is old, they ran into several issues but none seemed to phase them - they found workarounds to all of them and they always went the extra mile to do what they said they would do. In the end, we now have very efficient heating that will save us thousands a year and as a bonus, we have efficient air conditioning as well now. Because it is all electric, we are going to install solar and go from paying upwards of a thousand dollars a month in propane costs to paying nothing for heating and cooling in a big old farm house. Pretty amazing.

If you need heating or cooling work done, you should call these guys immediately.

Logan and AJ were very knowledgeable. They were on time, polite, and explained everything to me, even though my Wife says I ask too many questions. I've never met two more positive people. Absolutely trust them and they gave me an awesome price. I would 100% recommend. They are not a company that sends out random techs to work on your stuff. Great experience from the beginning to the end! We had heat pumps installed and Daniel took the time to discuss the plan and answer my questions. The price they gave was reasonable compared to quoted I received from other companies. The installers, Aiden and Aiden showed up on the schedule day and were very nice and professional. They did an amazing job and went the extra step to make sure everything was to my liking.

The units were just installed so I don't have any comments on the maintenance yet. But I'll update this post if I need to call them back for maintenance.

Simply Installs is the company to call if you want high-quality, reliable, and professional service. They replaced our gas furnace with a central air-source heat pump system that we love. Throughout the entire process, Mike Cisco was always available for questions, and the team of young professionals who installed the system worked until late evening on day three to finish the job. The heat pump provides a nice even heat and does a much better job heating the upstairs (we have a two-story, 1400 sq.ft. home). It is even a bit quieter than the gas furnace. Not only have we significantly lowered our carbon footprint (our electric supply comes from renewable sources too), but we are also enjoying a warmer home and we look forward to AC in the summer! We highly recommend Simply Installs and a central air-source heat pump system. It is well worth the investment.

Those two young men were the kindest and very professional men that I have ever had worked for me! Their smiles were contagious because they were always smiling! I am very pleased with our experience with Simply Installs. We had mini split heat pumps and a water heater installed. From start to finish, everyone we worked with were so polite, professional, and hard-working. They were extremely patient and prompt in answering all of our questions in order to help us make a decision to install the mini splits. Once we decided to go ahead with the project, the parts were ordered and available very quickly. Scheduling was a snap as they worked around our schedule to find a good week for us. Once the installation began, I couldn't have asked for a better set of workers in our house. I was impressed with their knowledge and ability to problem solve. They explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered all of our questions. They were careful to not leave any mess behind as they worked and cleaned up completely at the end of each day. Simply Installs designed and installed a new heat pump heating system in my older home. I had 6 different businesses come to my home to provide estimates. By far, Simply Installs did the most thorough inspection of my home and their proposed system took into account not only the needs of my house but also my stated goals for the system. Because I had many questions and like to be thorough, there were many back-and-forth conversations through the bidding process, both by phone and email. Simply Installs always responded in a timely and professional manner. I've been using my new system for three months now and I'm very happy with it. After the initial installation, there were a couple tweaks that needed to happen, and they worked with my schedule, and fixed all of my concerns. I think any retrofit of a heating system would have some tweaks. I was pleased with their responsiveness and the quality of their work. I would recommend them highly to my friends and family.
