Really kind and very helpful

DO NOT USE ANTHONY J. COSTANZA LANDSCAPING FOR ANY SERVICE!!! MR. COSTANZA was EMPLOYED to plant many LARGE TREES AROUND MY PROPERTY which would include a WRITTEN GUARANTEE of the work to be done. MR. COSTANZA DID NOT DELIVER on ANY OF HIS PROMISES TO BE GUARANTEED!!! His work "CREW" consisted of himself ALONE!!! HA HA HA!! He brought INFERIOR EQUIPMENT to do RESIDENTIAL work. He DAMAGED our property with his POOR WORKMANSHIP and FAILED TO CORRECT IT!!! He would only accept CASH FOR PAYMENT IN ORDER TO AVOID PAYING STATE SALES TAX, WHICH IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL AND PROVIDES VERY LITTLE LEGAL RECOURSE AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE HOMEOWNER. HE GAVE US NO WRITTEN GUARANTEE for the work performed, AS AGREED UPON. TOTALLY AND UTTERLY DISGUSTED CUSTOMER!!!!

We hired Anthony to landscape our backyard which required substantial
work after we removed trees in the back which had been standing for over 50 years but were no longer viable. After tree company removed trees there was substantial mess left by the tree company on my and my neighbors property. We hired Anthony to clean up the area and he did so
in an efficient and excellent manner.

After we had a fence installed between the properties, Anthony planted 19 6 ft Leyland cypress trees. He and his crew did a beautiful job making sure we were pleased throughout the process.

We couldn't be more pleased and recommend Anthony to all with no reservations.

Patrick is a design genius. He took my backyard from a dated 1970s concrete filled yard to a beautiful calming space. He brings elements of nature and color to balance the space he figured out how to incorporate a large swing set into the design and it is NOT an eye sore. He brought in river rocks, natural slate stepping stones and built the most gorgeous planter boxes. Not only that he also installed underground a system to prevent backyard flooding. Thats only my backyard. My front yard neighbors stop and compliment always. Its so beautiful. He redid a prior landscapers errors and everything flows and makes sense. My outdoors are my happy place. Even more thankful for having this space during a quarantine. It feels wonderful to sit here in such beauty.

I hired Joe to do simple maintenance a year or so ago. I just came across his reviews now so I’ve decided to add my own. In the beginning, he was great but it started to go downhill. On two different occasions, a rock went through windows on my property. One broke my mother’s car window parked in front of my house and the other went through my basement window. I know that those things can happen and he reimbursed my mother. I received an estimate for my basement window and I told him instead of giving me all of the money, he can replace some of the flowers in my front yard that he pulled out, without my permission. He agreed. He ended up putting taller flowers in the front of an area that blocked the rock and plants behind it. I told him that I did not like the placement and he said he would fix it. He would come back to mow my lawn but never would fix the plants. I would text him and he wouldn’t respond to the texts. He’d show up to mow and then leave. He eventually would send his guys to mow and he wouldn’t show up. I told his guys that I wanted to talk to him because he wasn’t responding to me and his company NEVER CAME BACK. EVER. I was very kind and understanding. I even text him that if he was very busy or had something going on to please let me know so I would cut him some slack. He blatantly ignored me. He couldn’t be bothered. I’ve never dealt with such incompetence but thank you. You did me a huge favor.
