Four years of owning a home with a pool, four different pool services on my journey of learning. Alex was prompt, knowledgeable, available by phone for messages, concerns. I had a fifteen year old DE filter that isn’t made anymore. He made a recommendation. He answered my questions regarding equipment I’d already researched. It took one day from decision to get a new filter to have it humming beautifully in my backyard. Made me and my family repeat customers for sure.

I wanted something simple when it came to my parents house as far as getting things done and not having to think about it too much and that is what I got. The LA team delivered with proper expectations and a timely execution for completion, and something that made my parents happy with the result / gift of a "smaller" in-ground pool / spa project. There was no "gray" area with them when working towards a common goal, and communication exceeded expectations. I didn't cut any corners in finding them, and they didn't cut any corners in the finished product...

Luxury Aquatics are amazing and took care of everything. I priced around for months to others in the county- No one else I could find would take care of everything from design to permiting and build under one shop. We wasted so much time until we found Alex. Huge load off our mine for such a complicated process. He even kept my wife at ease ... bless him. Our pool is beautiful and his recommendations were awesome - worth it 100%

What can we say that can do proper justice to the job Alex did for us? Never owned a pool before and didn't know even if our little backyard could accommodate one. We created a simple concept and yard layout and Alex sprang into action, sharing designs, choices for materials, and filtration systems. He pulled the permits, navigated the building dept, and got the job started on time. Working in a tight space with a two month window, he and his crew delivered a beautiful 7 x 13 semi-inground saltwater pool, re-landscaped our backyard, removed and transplanted magnolia trees, and installed a filtration system and pool heater fully operable by iphone app. When there were inevitable delays and supply chain challenges, Alex leveled with us and developed work-arounds. He was straight-forward, on-it, and on-time. He is still looking after his creation, dropping by to check salt levels and chemistry. We were and are grateful.

We hired Alex to do some renovation work on our gunite pool. He replaced our existing control system with a new wifi controlled smart system that makes using our pool/spa much easier. He also converted the pool to salt water and replaced all the lights.

Had an amazing experience with Luxury Aquatics. Very professional from start to finish. The estimate process was smooth and Alex ironed out all the details so I felt comfortable going through with the project. His construction and installation crew are top-notch. Always able to answer any questions myself or my wife had. After they were finished, the final walk-through was a breeze and my wife (who will scrutinize any work) had all good things to say. If you want the best, you just found it.

Alex was with us from conception through execution, and is now helping us learn how to maintain this gem of a plunge pool. We opted for a partial above-ground heated, salt-water pool in our tiny 25x25 backyard in the Village of Nyack. The partial above ground is a great solution because the lovely bluestone coping doubles as as seating. I love the stone surround as well. During the pandemic, I was inspired by the small courtyard pools in the villages of the South of France and I think we got darn close to that vision!

The logistics of digging out the pool in such a tight space were a challenge but Alex was super creative and his team was always very professional and courteous always left the construction site orderly. The whole process took about 12 months - from design, approvals and construction - and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. When the pea gravel we wanted wasn't easily available, he sourced the one we wanted and helped us turn our backyard into a tiny Mediterranean-inspired paradise we had originally envisioned!

One thing that we wish we had thought about in advance was the pool cover. We had one custom made by another vendor but it's not a permanent solution and we are still trying to figure this out. We considered a roll-up teak spa pool covers, but determined that they were too bulky and would not look good always visible on the edge of the pool. I don't know that the industry has a great solution for this yet but I wish someone would invent it!

Top tier. A level of perfectionism and professionalism you won’t find elsewhere. I own a design/ build firm and utilize Alex for my personal residences and highly recommend him to clients. Reasonable and truly cares about what matters.

Alex is a highly motivated and very talented pool designer. His attention to detail and professionalism is outstanding. His crew is amazing, hardworking, and trustworthy. They were great around my kids and did an amazing job. My family is very impressed with our project. Alex really took our ideas and made something beautiful out of them. And we feel we have gained a friend from this as well. His Pro Cut company does phenomenal work as well. We've used several additional services they offer already. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Alex and his team at luxury aquatics. I was looking to winterize my pool and spa and install a winter cover – Alex was both attentive and extremely professional. His team did a beautiful job and really went the extra mile to ensure that everything was done properly. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they packed up all of our pool equipment and placed it in the shed without even being asked. I look forward to working with Alex and his team again when we reopen the pool in the spring. Great experience - highly recommended!
