The company showed up when they said they would they took care of everything and everything turned out great a little tiny minor cleanup after they were gone but for the most part everything was wonderful

The workers at Sahlem have done an awesome job with communication and have expertise in the field. Everything was done above and beyond my expectations!

How do you get a hold of this company? Called 3x to ask questions about their estimate but never heard back from them.

Driver drives erratic, no turn signals and cuts people off. Completely unprofessional

Initially very responsive about getting back to me, set up appointment for them to come and measure the roof for an estimate. Did come and measure the roof and that was the last I heard from them!!
Tried calling and leaving a message saying I never got my estimate, no response!
So I hired a contractor who did get back to me.

Called to set up an appointment for estimate to have some siding repaired. Was told if it was a small job under $350 they were not interested and I should find someone else.

I can't say enough how happy I am with the job you did. Everything was done with high quality and in a very timely manner. The workmen were very courteous and new their jobs well. Thank you so much.

Well I messaged online and the next business day I did get a phone call to set up an appointment.I thought that was great.The day came and went.No-one ever showed up or even called to say anything about that appointment.I'm sorry,but I don't find that to be a good business move. UPDATE-with in a short time after I posted I got a phone call stating someone was out to my house.The women told me he was here and what time.The time was an hour before the time slot I was told,but I was home all day.Was told he knocked on my door,butI never heard it nor did my dog,who was out in the hall.Anyway just wanted to give new info.Didn't get an estimate,it still needs talked about.Thanks for the call back.

They will move your stuff and get the job done in the same day. They wouldn't put the stuff back after done and may take a brand new outside bug candle because the NEW guy that sat around on your bike or on your air condition unit all day with a banana on his head likes it.

Didn't even bother to come out to give me an estimate because I needed a new gutter and replacement vinyl siding and a new window. Probably because nobody wants to work and they would rather help someone with a bigger project.

Went to price a dumpster and they were very reasonable

We had a tear off and new roof and gutters. The crew led by Ricky did a fantastic job and the clean up was top notch.

I've used Sahlem's 3 times in the past year for roofing, windows and siding. They consistently offer the best price, do great work and show up and finish the job on time. Doing home improvement is stressful but they make it stress free!

We have used them for many projects. Their quotes are fair and reasonable. They get the job done and clean up after. Very professional. Have used them to replace a roof, and also to fix a leak that no one else could figure out. They also trimmed our Windows.

Had them out about a month ago for an estimate for new roof and gutters. A week later my husband called about the estimate, he was told it was in the mail. After another week went by with no estimate, my husband called and left a message. His call was never returned. We still have not received the estimate.

Previous owner of our house had Sahlem's put a new roof on and when we noticed shingles coming off we called the company for help. The first response was "there is nothing wrong with that roof, the owner had every bell and whistle we offer put on it." The receipt clearly indicated that only the original homeowner was covered by the warranty, but since the roof was only a year old, we were hopeful for some assistance, or guidance. After call two, they sent someone out to look at it and we were toldbybtheirvown employee "whoever did this roof didn't do a good job, I'm going to have the owner call you himself." He never did, and he never returned any of our calls after that. We have had contractors here repairing it (replacement not needed YET), and have been told repeatedly what a poor job they did. I wish I could be writing a glowing review, but clearly they've revealed their company is deserving of one star- if even!

We have a large brick Commercial building in Buffalo with a flat roof that needed a total replacement.

We had the money & were eager to get the job done. We were referred to Bill Sahlem himself. At first, Bill was willing to give us an estimate. He forgot the 1st time & it took a 2nd call to remind him.

He did give us a comparable estimate & informed us that the roof has some asbestos & also needs some masonry work. He did provide us with 3 names & ph#'s to get an asbestos removal quote, which we did promptly. We were willing to cover any additional costs. We just wanted the roof to be done the right way.

The ball was back in Bill Sahlem's court. We left a message on his cell ph stating that we got the estimate for the asbestos removal & were eager to take the next step.

We placed (6) calls to Bill without the courtesy of a single return phone call. During this process, we lost 6 mos. If the job was too big for him or if he simply did not want to do the job, he had that prerogative. But at- the-least, he could have given us the courtesy of a return phone call or even a letter stating so.

We are now going with Marty at Murray's Roofing. Marty has been very Professional, consistently returned every phone call, AND is co-ordinating the asbestos removal team, the 3rd party asbestos inspection, the Masonry & the Foreman of the roofers.
And Murray's estimate Included detailed pictures with explanations the NEXT DAY. Even with co-ordinating all the contractors, Murray is able to start this big job in 8wks from the 1st call. Impressive. Professional.

I'm hoping that Sahlem's learns from this experience. We certainly have.
