Incredibly easy process, incredibly fast installation, very transparent pricing and clear communication throughout process, amazing guarantee, all at a price at least one third lower than we were expecting.

A great team of owners and workers.
The owners knew what they were talking about, and did exactly what they committed they would do, and when they would do it. I would refer them to anyone who wants a job well done.

I needed some repairs on my roof and was so lucky to find this family business. Everything was done perfect from the initial quote to the final shingle. Thanks and I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family!

Unfortunate, called to schedule a quote and ended up being called a "tire kicker" and got hung up on. Van told me everything he knew about roofs, but had little interest in listening to what I wanted. Seemed old, rigid, and unhelpful. Truly a shame!

CRS was very professional in every stage of the process; from quote to cleanup! We appreciate the thoroughness and communication they provided. Also for providing other contractor recommendations for needed services.

    Thank you CRS!

Fantastic company to work with. Extremely courteous and conscientious. Installed a new roof after Hurricane Florence left us with damage. It looks great and they diligently cleaned my yard and driveway before they left. God Bless you guys!!!

CRS replaced all the siding on my house, replaced all the windows, put on a new roof and painted the exterior. They were prompt, cleaned up and did a terrific job. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them to others.

Wonderful company!! Excellent customer service. We had a great experience working with CRS after a hurricane. We were so impressed with the provided service, knowledge, and workmanship that we referred to others. So far, two of our friends have had their roof replaced by CRS. One friend needed extensive repairs. Impressive how even with the needed repairs, costs were still within budget. CRS collaborated with other contractors as needed to complete the job in its entirety. Neither set of friends were disappointed. Our friends were thankful we knew an awesome roofing company that handled business and in a timely fashion. Thank you CRS!

Although I was originally happy with the work performed by CRS when they replaced our roof in August 2017, I rescind all recommendations. Unfortunately, the original individual we worked with has since left the company; those remaining are unprofessional, do not stand by their work, and do not care about customer service. Two years after having our roof repaired, we noticed a leak in the garage – as well as mold blooms on the ceiling related to this leak. I contacted CRS via email on 2/24/19 to have them evaluate this leak. After 1 month of unexplained no-shows, Van Starling visited our property and looked at the roof from the sidewalk an quickly diagnosed it as a "gutter problem" and not his problem - despite never actually getting on the roof. However, he said he could “do us a favor.” We had not had any gutter issues prior to the roof installation, nor had we had any work done on the roof or gutters in the past two years that would lead to a problem. Despite promising to fix this issue, Mr. Starling cancelled and/or missed several subsequent appointments without any advance notice. This pattern of behavior repeated for >2 months, until 5/20/19. On that day, Mr. Starling was scheduled to arrive to assess/fix the leak, and we were instructed that he would call one hour before arriving. At 9am, I emailed the office to confirm this appointment was still on the calendar, as I had not receive any communication from CRS for ~2 weeks (ie, no confirmation of appointment date/time after the email in which it was originally scheduled); I received an email from the office at 1:30pm reiterating that Mr. Starling would call before he and his crew headed to our location. When I had not heard back from Mr. Starling at 4:45pm, I called and expressed concern that he was going to be cancelling this appointment for the 5th time in 2 months. At 5pm, I received a call directly from Mr. Starling: he sounded offended that I had called to check whether he would be arriving rather than continuing to wait. Within seconds of being on the phone, he began raising his voice and interrupting me, telling me to “shut up, little lady” and shouting “I'm not going to argue with you, woman” – even as he admitted that there was no way he was going to make it to our place that day. During the “conversation” Mr. Starling shouted and talked over me. Finally, before abruptly hanging up on me on May 20th, Mr. Starling accused me of cancelling appointments multiple times and causing trouble; I have since sent him and his office a record of every time our messages had gone without a response and every time he had not shown up for a scheduled appointment. While I recognize that unexpected things happen, I was never given the courtesy of a cancellation. In fact, missed appointments were never acknowledged until I contacted the office to understand why I had not received a visit and ask when we could reschedule. Between 2/24/19 and 5/20/19, we did not cancel a single appointment, and were more than accommodating by rescheduling and making ourselves available on >5 separate occasions. However, because we refused to leave our property unlocked to allow CRS to come by and enter at their leisure without us present, we were considered to be “unreasonable” and to be “causing problems.” Mr. Starling’s unprofessional and frankly unacceptable behavior throughout this entire process – which culminated with him shouting at me on the phone, calling me derogatory names, and hanging up on me while I was speaking - has shown me that CRS does not care about honoring their so-called “worksmanship warranty” and that they do not stand by their work.

They fully replaced our roof here in Apex and did a wonderful job. Both Van and his son (also named Van) were super informative and helpful. From the initial consultation presentation, through the scheduling for the installation, through the actual installation, through the final cleanup after they finished everything, they were great. Thanks!

Van Starling took the time to explain the process of the roof replacement including how to involve my insurance company who was a needed participant in my roof replacement. Steve managed the install team well and offered educational information in recent roof technology. We really appreciate the efforts of CRS, Inc. and encourage others to replace their roof with this company. Thanks CRS Team!

We just used CRS to replace our 21 year old roof and would highly recommend them. Van was extremely professional and thorough in outlining their process, materials, and warranties and working with us on color selection and various approaches for ventilating our attic. Although the GAF and Certainteed shingles are the same across all the roofers, as I learned, they don't all use the same materials for replacement boards, vent pipe covers, trims, etc. CRS used the best across the board. The project manager kept us informed every step along the way. The crew did a great job not only on the roof and trims, but also did a great job each day on the cleanup. We are ecstatic with the result.
