I'm happy to have worked with Bud Matthews for at least 5 years. We call them for all electrical, plumbing and mechanical issues at our home. I count on Bud Matthews to make repairs happen quickly and without hassle.

Had an electrical emergency and were able to come out first thing the following day and did a great job trouble shooting until the issue was found. Thank you so much, what you did for us was so much appreciated.

The repairman was on time and worked efficiently to identify the problem with my washer and dishwasher. Very happy with the service.

We wanted to install gas logs in our wood burning fireplace, remove the raised hearth and install a new hearth surround and mantle. This "simple" project required several trades - demolition, masonry, granite installation, gas log prep, carpentry, safety inspections. No one wants this small of a job and no one can do the entire job. After 6 months of running into walls I finally connected with Bud Matthews who coordinated all the trades and completed the job. They called back, showed up for all appointments, knew their business and got the job done. We are very pleased with their service and our results!

Had an emergency AC repair on the hottest day yet! It all started with the prompt and courteous service from Bud Matthews dispatch all the way to my home where JON the service tech arrived and had us up and running in no time!! His knowledge and honesty left me feeling very grateful and reassured that this time my system will remain running unlike last time with the previous company!! I'm a first-time customer of Bud Matthews Services. I chose them because they had good reviews online. Wow, am I glad I chose them! Bud Matthews Services responded quickly to my request for a wall oven install & cabinet customization job that I entered at their web site (i.e. within 1-2 hrs). I received a phone call from Morgan who was very pleasant and coordinated all of the required work. Dean Gaudreau was sent to my home the next day to perform a site visit before the job. He carefully listened to what I wanted and asked questions. He then identified the process and described how my existing cabinet would be customized to accommodate the new wall oven and existing wall microwave. You could tell that Dean is very knowledgeable. Being a System Engineer, I like the level of detail that Dean provided which put my mind at ease. Dean arrived the next day and was able to customize my cabinet, move the exist wall microwave, and install the new wall oven without requiring any additional materials. Electrician Mason McLean also arrived and quickly wired the wall oven into the existing electrical box in the cabinet. When they put everything back into the cabinet, we soon discovered that the original cabinet drawers were NOT installed properly which presented a few challenges. However, due to Dean's expertise, he was able to resolve these challenges. I was certainly impressed by Dean's "can-do", positive attitude (i.e. "...no problem..."). In the end, although I wasn't sure that the job could be accomplished the way I wanted it done, Dean was able to complete the project EXACTLY the way I wanted it to be done. I would highly recommend the Bud Matthews Services to anyone who has a custom kitchen appliance install project. These guys are easy to work with and I would certainly use them again. Thank you Dean, Mason, and Morgan for a job well done!!

Paul, who services our dishwasher, is really great: smart, a good communicator, and an excellent tradesman. In our experience, the service is prompt and effective and the rates are reasonable. We'd recommend Bud Matthews without reservation.

Bryan is an excellent technician with a wealth of knowledge. He diagnosed the problem, shared every he saw and explained how to remedy the situation.

I was extremely happy with the care of Benjamin D who visited my house. His attention to detail and his analysis of the problem I had with my oven was first rate.

Replaced main water pressure reducer valve and repaired several gas leaks (replaced piping and pipe joints. Techs were on time and courteous.

Bud Matthews Services has been incredible to work with. Kevin, Denny, and their team have completed several projects for us—from installing a new exterior French door and converting the old space to windows to some major interior remodeling and a full window replacement. Every job has been done with top-notch skill, professionalism, and care. They’re reliable, friendly, and always go above and beyond—all at a fair price. We trust them completely and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for future work.

Bud Matthews plumber came to replace our water heater. At first they quoted us 3x the cost of a new water heater which we purchased on our own. The plumber cut a notch in our floor joist and nicked the electrical wire. Then proceeded to use only electrical tape for the electrical connections instead of wire nuts. Moreover, he lied about the notch to his supervisors.
We lost hot water less than 2 weeks later and the faulty connection was discovered by another plumbing service.
When I brought this to the attention of Bud Matthews, I received a phone call apologizing and offering to reimburse us for the cost of the repair service as well as refunding the original labor to replace the water heater.
That was 5 weeks ago. The check has yet to arrive. The mail might have been busy over the holidays, but not this slow. We contacted them two weeks after our initial conversation and have not received a reply.
TLDR: Unprofessional and doesn’t follow through. Don’t bother.

I am a Property Manager and Mason assisted in one of the properties I manage and the tenants absolutely loved him... this is the comment directly from the tenant: "Mason, from bud matthews, just came and fixed our light in the kitchen. Just wanted to reach out and say he was fantastic! Very professional and helpful." Shoutout to you guys!

My appliance repair experience this morning with Ben and Brandon was outstanding. Very nice men, very friendly to the curious pug Buttons who visited them a few times. They replaced the door rubber gasket and the water input control sensor on my 2008 Whirlpool Duet clothes washer and got lint out of the exhaust piping of the 2008 Whirlpool Duet clothes dryer, and tested everything before leaving. The load I just washed came out great, no more leaks inside or outside the machine. The load’s in the dryer and that is working well too. Great job by Ben and Brandon! I hope Bud Mathews Services values them highly for a very long time.

Stephanie, who received my call, was amazing, thorough, and kept in timely communication with us. The service gentleman was fast and knowledgeable in correcting the problem. I have worked with Budd Matthews for years for many issues and will continue to do so as their knowledge base and integrity and interpersonal skills are unbeatable!!!

The repair man was friendly and knowledgeable, as are all the Bud Mathews repair men we've used over the years. This is such a dependable service company.

We could not be happier with our experience with Bud Matthews! Our house in Mebane which is over a hundred years old was in dire need of some exterior repairs. When I called Bud Matthews and spoke with Morgan she set up a time for Andrew Logue to come out and see what we needed. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us an estimate which was in our budget and the work was scheduled.
The construction team that came did a great job!! They replaced cedar siding and repaired trim work and soffits. If we had any concerns they were always addressed promptly.
We also needed new steps coming off the sunroom. Dean and Will did an absolutely amazing job rebuilding them. They look like the original steps. If steps can be beautiful, these are!
We had been looking for someone to do repairs on the house for a long time. We highly recommend Bud Matthews. We will be using them again.
