We hired GW May to install a couple of electrical outlets on our deck and front porch. They were competitively priced, communicated well, showed up on time, and did a great job on the installation.

These guys are fantastic. They came on time, explained what and why they were doing what they did. They also explained what we could do ourselves to avoid overpaying for something that would be DIY. And they charged a very fair rate. I rarely write reviews but this was the best electrician’s company we have worked with.

Jordan and his crew are outstanding. We have used this company several times and will continue to use them for all of our electrical work. They show up on time, perform quality work at reasonable rates and are very nice to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.

Watch out for the vans with their logo, they drive as if they want to make you cause an accident. Almost came to a hault to make a right turn with no traffic and the driver just smiling away in the side mirror. Go get that insurance claim....sorry, not from me though.

Terrible company

Unresponsive and doesn't pay its bills.

I really appreciated the communication and efforts to get the work done in a timely manner.

Called to get an estimate for a few small electrical related issues around the house, was told I'd get a call back that day if there was an opening, otherwise someone would be over Monday. No one calls me back no one shows up on Monday. I call back Wednesday to reschedule, I'm told Friday and given an hour window. No one shows up. Awesome. 🙄

Professional service from John, a technician with twenty years of experience. We needed a vintage chandelier installed, which turned out to be somewhat tricky, but John got it done in under an hour. There were a few mix-ups with scheduling but office admin gave us a 10% discount.

I just called about 6-7 local electricians about a very simple job, and nobody would even entertain the idea of giving me a quote without charging me to send a tech to my home first. I called MSS-Ortiz and they were super prompt, gave me a quote immediately, and set up an appointment for less than a week from now. Fantastic service. I love this company and they haven't even done the work for me yet haha.

I am so glad that I had Ortiz do my job. I needed outdoor outlets by the pool and on the front of the house. I also wanted new landscape lighting around the pool. My old flood lights no longer worked so I purchased them and they installed. The price was great and John did an excellent job. I will use them again in the future.

Truly a fantastic experience working with them. I used their services to wire in a 240v Hot Tub and from the onset they were always very responsive and gave me an extremely competitive quote in the timeframe that I was looking for. On the day of the installation the technicians that were sent were professional and explained what they were going to do prior to starting the work, and even though the project was a bit challenging with the layout of the tub they finished on time. I strongly recommend using their services as they are a locally run business and really do seem to care more about building a lasting relationship and performing good work rather than just moving on to the next job.

Tracy has been beyond amazing, communicating schedules, adapting to requested changes without hesitation, and keeping me updated on the timing of fixture deliveries that we were awaiting. It’s not been easy to find an electrician these days but John S with MSS-Ortiz did an outstanding job for us and we will definitely call him again in the future. He was professional and thorough and really helped us think thru the most optimal solution for our electrical needs. Additionally, he was understanding about our request to wear a mask since my husband is a high-risk heart-transplant patient and we really appreciated this courtesy.

I got a 240V outlet installed in my garage for charging my car. John S did a great job with communication, the quote, and the install. Tracey was great scheduling and the project was completed faster than I was expecting and at a reasonable price. Very happy with them. Will definitely use them for electric issues going forward.

MSS Ortiz is reliable and efficient! John Stepto added a 240V outlet and several 120V outlets in my wood shop. He paid close attention to the table saw motor I was planning on using with the 240V outlet and was able to complete the project for 1/3 less than the quoted price. John prioritizes the customer's interests!

Scheduling with Tracy was easy and she followed up without prompting.

I've already scheduled MSS Ortiz again for other electrical projects.
