Been over a month since they agreed to do work. Nothing heard, no response on then to even send pictures of what concrete stamps they offered.

Multiple issues with the cement that was poured around our pool. It took over a year for it to get partially fixed and that was after we hired a lawyer!!! Do NOT use this company for cement!!!

I hired Mark to do some work on my sister's house. I had no issues with the quality of the work they did. The guys he had working for him were on point and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Concrete is not easy work that's why we hire guys like this to do it for us. Mark is as reasonable of a contractor as any I've dealt with and I've dealt with a lot over the years. Mark and his crew poured an 8 yard, stamped patio in our back yard. It turned out great. The sealer he applied brought out the color and subtleties of the stamped design. Mark was responsive to our design requirements, provided excellent design suggestions and was timely with preparation, laying and finishing the concrete. Highly recommend Mark.

I wanted to wait before posting my review—it's been almost a year since working with Mark and his crew at MD Concrete. While Mark is very friendly and great at selling his services, the execution had some frustrating aspects.
The two biggest issues were communication and cleanliness. We had a large amount of concrete poured in two phases, the second section poured developed cracks and had to be removed and replaced. To Mark’s credit, he did return to fix it, but the process could have been handled much more smoothly.
Communication was a major frustration. I understand that unexpected delays happen, but as a business owner, keeping customers informed is essential. If a job cannot be completed as scheduled, a quick message or update is the professional approach. Instead, I was left waiting for answers—sometimes for a week, which was both frustrating and avoidable.
Cleanliness was another significant issue. As shown in the photos, proper cleanup was not prioritized. After paying a substantial amount for the job, I didn’t expect to be left cleaning my own pool and yard. When I asked about the debris in the pool, I was told my expensive cleaning system could handle it. That response showed a lack of accountability. Proper attention to detail and bringing the necessary cleanup equipment should be standard practice. Additionally, leaving a mound of cement in my yard was unacceptable—I shouldn’t have to remind the crew to clean up after themselves.
The cement poured also having quality issues. Numerous chips have formed in different areas of the cement due to what appears to be a poor mix, creating blemishes that now need to be repaired. This could have been avoided with better quality control and attention to detail.
I was more than patient throughout the process, but these areas need serious improvement. Better communication, ensuring the concrete is properly mixed to prevent blemishes, and a commitment to leaving a clean worksite would greatly enhance customer experience. Currently I have issues recommending to a friend looking for getting concrete poured.

I had a concrete pad poured in my backyard. So far it seems to be okay but it's only been a week and I've lost my confidence with this company. To complete a job includes clean up and the disaster he left in my yard is unbelievable. When I asked him to clean up he comes back, he did but did half the work and makes even more of a mess. I reached out to him again explain this was totally unacceptable and said he needed to come back. He chose to ghost me and ignore my call. I know he read the message within 10 minutes after sending because I tagged it. After waiting until the next day to give in an opportunity to call he still failed to reach back out so I reached out to him. Start of the conversation with I guess you're choosing to ignore me and explained that obviously he's not the honest businessman as he claims to be and I'm concerned now with the quality of work since he doesn't seem to be standing behind his product service or craftsmanship. Google review and the better Business Bureau are great supports for the consumer. Instead of reaching back out to me he reaches out to my brother and complains that I'm trying to ruin his business. He ruined his own business by not completing the job and leaving the mess in front of my house, dumping concrete in my driveway and in the gutters in front of my house leaving clumps of concrete on my sidewalk and throughout my yard and not completing the trim of the deck after removing the frame. He's yet to return my call and I don't expect him to. Several of my neighbors have complained about the mess in front of my house and I've been happy to pass his information on to them. Letting them know this is the contractor that made the mess, if they have an issue please feel free to reach out. Do not use this contractor. Pictures speak a thousand words, let them speak for the quality of work he's going to provide.
