Initially this was my review, one star because they never responded. Now NC Hydroseeding did response after a three week waiting stating the reasons. If I was to be the CEO and I know I will be away I should leave an automated response explaining the reason behind it.

We opted to plant our own grass and not go with hydroseeding or sod, we informed NC Hydroseeding and they pointed us a NC State University website in an effort to help us be successful on our seeding project even though we didn’t select them. They were very helpful. If my own seeding does not work I WILL be contacting them for hydroseeding.

On time and on budget, did what they said they’d do, provided a military discount. Excellent customer service. A major rain storm occurred the day after hydroseeding, dumping nearly 8inches of rain over a 36 hour period. Alex emailed me in the middle of the storm to ask how my yard/hydroseed was doing during the rain. once the rain stopped, the hydroseed remained in place where it was originally sprayed with little to no runoff!! One week after seeding and I have grass sprouting from the ground!!

In the Fayetteville, NC area, this was the only business I found hydroseeding on a residential basis; all others were only doing more significant projects. For the past five years, my yard turned into sand; weeds outgrew the centipede grass and died out. I had it hydroseeded, and in about two weeks, I saw grass sprouting. I had it cut once last week, and now I need to have it cut again. It’s growing that well and fast. I can’t suggest strongly enough that hydroseeding was the best way to go, it’s much cheaper than sod.

Alex at NC Hydroseeding assisted me with preparing my yard for installation of more than a dozen pallets of centipede sod. On short notice, Alex used his AERA-vator tractor to loosen the soil in my yard. In less than two hours, he used the system to penetrate approximately 3 to 4 inches deep into hard, compacted soil and to also do the same for areas that were soft, sandy soil. The AERA-vator, expertly used by Alex, also loosened practically all of the crab grass and other weeds throughout the yard, which allowed me to quickly clean up all the weeds with about 15 minutes of raking. The ground Alex prepared includes multiple obstacles, which Alex avoided (no damage to anything). The obstacles included a large shed, a concrete pad, a fence around the yard, and 23 sprinkler heads. The machine, operated with care, loosened soil within 2 inches of the fence, within an inch of the concrete pad and shed, and within one inch of every sprinkler head. At the end of the day, the dirt across the entire yard was loose, level / flat, easy to rake, and fully prepared for the installation of sod. An added benefit was the AERA-vator locating and displacing multiple medium sized rocks and buried sticks that were beneath the surface of the ground. Without the work Alex completed, I would not have discovered those rocks or large sticks and branches that were buried. Alex was patient, polite, and professional, and he was very thorough in his approach. Best of all, Alex also listened to me when I told him what I wanted, he made a few recommendations, and then he proceeded to complete the work in the best manner, meeting all my requirements and expectations. Exceptional work. I would use Alex and NC Hydroseeding for any and all future work I require for my lawn. I highly recommend Alex and NC Hydroseeding as a professional, knowledgeable, and conscientious lawn service company.

They did a great job hydroseeding a retention pond for us. They were quick to get the estimate over and the work scheduled. They showed up on time and did the work right. The pond looks great and the grass is doing well! We really appreciate their quick, detailed response to our inquiries, even after the service was completed.
