Southern Pines Stump Grinding (Andrew is the owner) was referred to me by a friend for a project on my property. First and foremost, Andrews's communication was top-notch. He promptly responded to my initial inquiry, discussing the project details and options and addressing all my concerns with clarity and expertise.

I would not have initially considered using them for my project since it did not involve grinding stumps. Instead, we needed several large bushes removed from my tiny backyard on a Pinehurst golf course. Several other companies never followed up with me, which was highly frustrating. From start to finish, Andrew’s professionalism, efficient communication, and project execution left me highly impressed.

Regarding the actual work, his performance exceeded my expectations. Andrew arrived punctually, equipped with the necessary tools and machinery. Andrews's expertise was evident as he assessed the job requirements and devised a strategy to tackle the task efficiently. Andrew laid out matting in our yard to protect our grass from his equipment. It is a small but essential step, especially when you live on a golf course and have a manicured lawn. Other companies would not do this, which would have required us to fix damage to our grass. We loved the new look of our backyard and were able to enjoy it immediately.

I felt I received excellent value for the quality of work performed. I appreciated the transparency in providing an accurate estimate upfront, without hidden fees or surprises. I will look forward to using them again next time, and would recommend them to a friend or neighbor.

He sent an estimate the same day (very thorough and detailed estimate with photos) and he came to do the work when he said he would! Oh…and cleaned up all of the debris! Andrew is very knowledgeable about trees and wants to save them whenever possible! He helped me to understand why he made certain recommendations… even when it potentially made less money for him! What a blessing to do business with such a great guy!

Very friendly and quick on the job. Was running behind due to previous job, and continually communicated that through out the day until my appointment. Made sure the house and the newly mulched garden bed next to the stump was fully protected and not full of debris. Highly recommend.

Andrew is fantastic at what he does. He helped us clear lines for fencing by cutting larger trees with his chain saw, grinding the stumps, and de-rooting smaller trees with his skid steer. He has many capabilities with his different machines. He’s an incredibly hard worker and gets the job done very well and in a timely manner. He’s aLao very fairly priced. And and his family are also incredible people which makes me feel great hiring their services. Highly recommend!

Awesome family company, we’ve had them do two different jobs for us. Super timely and efficient. Well priced, and they always leave the yard clear of debris when finished. Andrew also took special care to avoid any damage to our fence when dropping branches that hung above it. Will continue to use for future services and highly recommend. Andrew is amazing. On time, efficient, super talented and knowledgeable with all things trees. Operates at a high level with both equipment and techniques. It was immediately apparent to me that he knew what he was doing whether climbing high with rope systems or stump grinding with his super nice rig.
