Bill was very helpful in evaluating our yards needs: checking on the health of trees throughout the yard, recommending the right time for pruning (if needed at all), suggesting new trees to plant, and stopping by a second time for a consult on removal. Andrew and Alex removed two invasive Bradford pears and we're so pleased with their work! Once we had made the choice to move forward, we got on the schedule quickly with an opening and before we knew it the team had arrived, felled the trees, cleared branches, ground stumps, and cleaned up remaining leaves and debris. And for a reasonable price, too!

Contacted 5 companies for tree work, only Davey responded. Great experience, super professional, took care to lift low hanging limbs of one of my driveway trees out of the way so their truck would not cause it harm. Fairly priced services for removing damaged / dying trees and pruning trees throughout the rest of the yard. Will continue to patronize them as my go-to tree experts.

Davey Tree did a wonderful and professional job removing a tree from my property. The work was completed in a timely, thorough manner, and the team made sure that my yard and driveway were cleaned up before they left.

Our family has worked with Davey tree for more than 10 years. I trust Bill and the crew with every project. Expertise, respect, communication, consistency and quality weaves through every project.

I called to get what they say is a free estimate to clear a 3/4 acre piece of property. I got 5 quotes in all including one from Davey. The lowest price was $4000 the Highest was $43, 000 that's not a typo. Davey thought it was not insulting to send me a $43,000 bid. I obviously did not hire them. But how many people are getting ripped off from Davey? Do yourselves a favor and shop around. In the end I hired Veneer at $8500 at a savings of $34,500 how much could you save by not hiring them. I spoke with Davey they said, "we were not trying to insult you we just charge more then other companies and we really do not like doing the bigger jobs." Im sorry if that is what Davey stands by it is straight up an insult to anyone who hires them. Don't give a bid that is basically stealing from someone who actually hires you.

Davey Tree Co was wonderful!! After a wind storm, I had large broken branches on the roof and overhanging the neighbor's driveway from two very large old trees. Tracy made room for me in his schedule and took care of the safety issues in a few days, removing all the broken branches, one tree and trimming the other tree. Later when a replacement tree was planted he even helped with the watering. Can't say enough good things about them!!

After a horrible experience with another tree company, Davey was a breath of fresh air. They for quoting and service when they said they were going to and handled everything professionally. The sales person really cared and was very knowledgeable about trees. He did try to upsell quite a bit but wasn't pushy about it. I would definitely recommend working with Davey for your tree care needs!

They came out to view/quote the job and provided a quick estimate with various options. I had them raise the canopy, prune and thin out a huge oak tree along with removal of a smaller pine tree. They offered a competitive price, showed up on time, used proper safety equipment and were very professional. I have used them in the past for another tree removal/stump grind. Very pleased with the service, would definitely use them again.

On two occasions they have come into my yard unannounced. I gave my name and phone number to be called prior to them coming to do work. On both occasions, I received zero notice and entered the backyard without communicating who they were and what they were doing. I also watched as they huddled between my fence and the neighbors and one started to push and pull on my fence! Truly unprofessional workers!! I have a large dog, there should be communication when entering the yard.

Very happy with Davey Tree. Had some hydrangea bushes that hadn't flowered in a year as I was trimming them in late fall. Davey tree said not to do anything with them and they would trim them down when they came out in February. Came back from wintering in Florida and now there are a huge amount of buds all over my hydrangeas. SO PLEASED. As they know when to trim the bushes, I will let them do it again next year.

Davey Tree did a very good and professional job. They contact me with the schedule and keep there promised date. They cleaned up the yard. We have have used them before and would highly recommend their service again.

Our arborist, Thomas Keeper provided quality time with us explaining the condition of our five 80 - 100 year old Pin Oak trees in our backyard. He even came a second time with another arborist to further assess our trees. We were also concerned about some very large dead branches on two of the trees that continued to cling to the trees posing a hazard to us and our neighbors.

He recommended trimming of the dead branches now and that work has now been completed. Everything was explained to us about how the procedure would take place including where the trucks would be parked. By looking at our backyard after they were finished, we would not have know they had been here until we looked up into the trees and the dead branches were gone. The cleanup was excellent. We definitely would recommend The Davey Tree Expert Company. We have used them for over 20 years now.

Scope of work including pruning, tree cutting, stumps ground. The pruning was great. But they brought the wood chipper into the driveway. There was sawdust ALL OVER the inside of my house because the windows were opened. I even asked the day before if there was anything that needed to be done/prepped before they came and he said no. The stumps were not grounded because they didn't have a grinder. They came back two weeks later with a grinder, grounded the stumps and knocked out my power in the garage. When i asked them if they were liable, they said no because the lines should've been installed lower and I would need to get an electrician to fix it. I am outraged. This process has ruined my entire month. I wish I never contacted them.

Update: I spoke with a manager and presented him the quote for the electrician. The cost was gonna be lessened if they (Daveys) agreed to dig the trough. But they (Daveys) ended up digging it up and reconnecting my electrical.

I was not aware that Davey Tree was in the business of planting trees.

Crew tresspassed into my yard, steped in dog poop and intentionally left my previously locked gate open to try and let my dog excape. Not pet friendly

We had a dead tree that had broken from the root next to the fence and was hanging on another tree. They were able to get it down without causing any damage to the fence. Great job.

Once again, Davey Tree employees came through with a stellar job in trimming the tree limbs overhanging my house and roof from a neighbor's tree. This is my second experience with Davey and it was as good as the first time. All the work is professional and precise. I can't say enough about how they care for their customers. All the employees are polite and friendly - keep up the good work!
