Have used davey for several years. Wouldn't go anywhere else for pruning etc allan and his team did a superior job today making my tired old maple look young again. They really care about trees

This is a company with a lot of heart! Our six month old kitten was stuck in a huge tree today and could not get down. No one would come to rescue him. But when we called Davey Tree Service, whom we had dealt with over the years, they happily showed up eager to save our kitten! From the bottom of our heart thank you guys! We don't know what we would have done if you hadn't come to rescue our little guy.

The arborists at Davey are experts indeed, at least in my opinion. We’ve used their services a few times now, and we’ve been very pleased with their work. 5 stars.

I called the Niagara office ( as the website clearly named the region I lived in- "Welcome to your local Niagara, Ontario Davey Tree office. Our ISA Certified Arborists service Allanburg, Beamsvile, Dunnville, Elma, Fort Erie, Lincoln, Niagara Falls, Pelham, Snyder, Thorold, Welland, and other surround areas."). I left all my info/address and was assured that someone would call regarding a quote. No call back, so 2 weeks later I followed up and was assured AGAIN that someone would call right away! 2 more days go by, called back and now was told that I will have to call the Hamilton office??? I'm not wasting my time, this was the 3rd time i gave them my address, so they should have referred me to another office on the first call, or better yet, why didn't they pass the info onto the other office themselves!
Clearly they don't need anymore business and have no respect for potential customers. Don't waste your time, this disorganization points to greater problems in this company!

I would give 10 stars if I could ! Clayton , Mike and Courtney went above and beyond when we needed help saving a tree in our backyard from dying by being over pruned by a neighbour and his unqualified " Arborist " . Within 3 days they did 2 inspections , and had a legal document prepared for us stating our tree could not be harmed . I would never consider looking elsewhere to have any kind of tree service done !

The guy who came to give me a quote was both friendly and professional. I went ahead and booked an appointment for tree removal & they never bothered showing up for it! I called after waiting for them over an hour. The woman said she would have them call me. Waited another hour of not hearing from them, so I called again. The gentleman said: Oh, they went to another appointment by mistake, but they were nearly finished there & could come over afterwards. Forget it. I had already spent 2.5 hours hanging around for them.

A big shout out to Coady who came to spray and deep fertilize. Prompt. Professional. Very knowledgeable. Very patient and answered ALL my questions. Very much appreciated. Was able to do both jobs in same day for me. Bonus! Highly recommend. Leigh McC

I did not use this company, but did see then first hand in action. They cut down five or six dead ash on my friends property. They had to "rope up a tree", the likes of which I've never seen before. Everything was done safely. I was there to take the logs. My friend told me that it was up to me to cut them up and take them to my trailer. They did yeomen work to assist me even thought it was not in their job to do. Extremely friendly group of three. I only wish I could wish get more wood from them instead of them hauling it away to the dump!!! That doesn't seem to be the way they do things. Still 5 stars!!!

Allan Troup and crew did a great job trimming multiple overgrown trees on my property. Worked quickly and efficiently and demonstrated good skills in determining which branches to remove. Cleaned up carefully afterward. Will definitely call Davey Niagara again.

The crew came and did a great job in a tight situation. With all the wires I was pleased none were taken down. Happy with the removal and clean up. Would have given 5 stars but as I had to call a few times to get my appointment initially so had to knock one off. Am going to get the stump done too.

Coty, Nicole, Joe and Andrew were amazing, high quality, professional and cleaned up so nicely. The entire staff (Michael, Courtney and Coady!!) are fantastic to work with. I'll always trust my trees only to Davey!

Today we had the Davey crew of Warren, Conner and Emily out to our property to scale our trees and trim them due to many broken and dead branches. It was fascinating to watch how Warren climbed the trees with ease and efficiency. Warren's knowledge of tree identification was amazing. They were polite, professional and cleaned everything up well.

The sales person Eric was excellent and the crew delivered exactly what was contracted for in a very timely manner

Robyn and her coworkers came out and worked on our property and I have nothing but good things to say about the service and how kind and lovely Robyn was going over the whole process.

Two very large trees were trimmed and what a great job. They look beautiful. Now the sun can get through. In front my hedge, cherry tree and smaller tree where trimmed.
It's great to deal with professionals who know their craft.
Everyone worked together like a well choreographed ballet.
Left the grounds spotless. Would use them again. Thank you Allan.
