Dylan located two leak concerns, one near our water meter the other a valve in our Toto toilet. The serious leak near the meter was within 6" of marked location. I recommend Leak Locators. The technician, Dustin is polite and helpful. He found the leak and when my plumber and general contractor doubted his first location, Leak Locaters sent him out a second time, at my request, no charge! He stuck to his first location and...he was correct! The person, who took my several calls at Leak Locators was understanding, polite and helpful. The water pressure in my home, now that the project is complete is impressive!

Dylan from Leak Locaters arrived on time, even with heavy snow on the roads and he proceeded to quickly locate the leak in our 1/4 mile long water pipe from our well. His equipment had no problem locating the break, even with 6 inches of snow and ice on the ground. His marked spot was within inches of the break. The cost of Leak Detectors service saved me thousands of dollars and I was able to fix the leak myself in only a couple hours after his departure, even with a water pipe 4 ft down in frozen snowy conditions. We were in a desperate situation. Our cistern wouldn't fill. The well drillers told us we needed a new $25,000. well. We bought 1500 gallons of water for $500 to get us by while we got other well bids. The next day all 1500 gallons of water were gone. The pump people came and said the cistern didn't have a leak. We were all perplexed. The pump people told us to call Leak Locators. Dylan came the next day. He spent over two hours going over every pipe on the 3/4 acre property. He couldn't find the leak. He problem solved how 1500 gallons of water would mysteriously disappear in 24 hours. He said a leaking toilet would lose a gallon a minute. He discovered a downstairs toilet we never use was faulty and was overflowing in the tank. That was our easy fix problem. Dylan saved us $25,000. The well people would have happily put in a new well. I was very happy with the service I received from Leak Locators yesterday. Michael Houston texted me right before he arrived. He explained all the tests he performed. He marked a 2 foot circle where the leak was in my lawn. I carefully dug it up today and a small leak was right in the middle of the circle. 27 inches deep and no dampness on the surface at all. I made an appointment with a plumber for Friday.

Fast friendly service from first call. Good communication throughout the process. Dylan showed up on time and effectively located the leak and was on his way. I will use them again. And did I mention they are a local privately owned small business. 👍

Leak Locators were the only leak detectors to return my many calls looking for someone that could come out and find a leak for us the plumber couldn’t identify. They were the earliest available and great at explaining the process. They were great at communicating when to expect them and in very fortunate turn of events were able to help us discover a toilet seal issue and potential pressure gauge issue from their tests that were simple fixes the plumber had missed. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Starting from the initial contact with Cat on the phone to finishing the job by Dylan was a great experience. Cat did a great job of scheduling a technician, Dylan, to come out in time (and texted me before arriving) and finding the leak that we had in our home water main. Dylan was thorough in terms of understanding the problem and locating the leak. Dylan not only solved the problem within the two-hour window, but also professional, courteous, and friendly. I'd definitely use them again, but I hope I don't have to. :)

We made an appointment with Leak Locaters after our water bill doubled compared to the same cycle a year earlier. Service was friendly and informative. Dylan answered all my questions and showed me around our plumbing system so that I could understand the inspection findings. Best of all, when no leaks were found and no deeper diagnostics required, he cut the charge for the house call in half, and offered to be available if the water bureau proved unhelpful when we show them the findings.

If I could give 100 stars I would. I had water all over the road that was coming from the water shut off by the road. I had no idea what to do! I didn’t even know how to shut off the water!

The bad news: we had another leak on our main water line. The good news: we were able to rely on Leak Locaters to quickly detect the origin of that leak. We called late Monday morning as soon as detecting a leak and the next morning Dylan, showed up right on time at 9:00 am, and quickly detected the leak under our concrete driveway.
Thank you once again to both Kath for making the quick appointment and for Dylan for his effectiveness and professionalism.

It is never easy to find out that one’s water bill has increased tenfold due to a water leak… As soon as finding out, I contacted three water leak detection companies. I called the first one three times and never got an answer… The second one got back to me right away, but could not dispatch anyone for another two weeks… I finally contacted Leak Locaters and I am glad I did.
First, Kath got back to me as soon as getting my message. She then arranged for Dylan, a fine young man and experienced technician to come the next day. Dylan showed up on time, used sophisticated equipment, and detected the leak under a concrete sidewalk slab in less than twenty minutes. Later on, the plumbing company called to repair the leak found it precisely where Dylan had located it. All along, Kath maintained constant e-mail communication with me. Of course the fact that Leak Locaters gave a 10% senior discount and was cheaper than the other company was much appreciated.
