I put in my solar panels 5 1/2 years ago. The entire project which was on a barrel-tile roof went without a hitch. Now these many years later the only maintenance has been washing them once a year. And I just looked, in that 5 1/2 years the panels have produced 29.46 MWh. Good deal!

AES went beyond my expectations in three ways. First, Justin was open to redoing the plan he originally submitted to us in order to take advantage of roof space we all first thought would not be optimal. Upon our request, he reexamined his plan and developed a new one in order to make the very best use of available space. Secondly, AES put in a great monitoring system which is fascinating and which I am still exploring. Third, Justin recommended to us a course of action to promote policy changes to EWEB.

I strongly recommended anyone reading this to get a thorough understanding of EWEB's regressive policies concerning the way they calculate solar energy produced credits (on a monthly rather than yearly basis) and the cap they have on the size of systems (25kWh which is unfair to businesses who would love to put in larger systems). I wrote a letter to EWEB and Justin was kind enough to look it over making sure all information was accurate.

I think it is great that Justin and AES are actively promoting, not just their business, but also for EWEB to change its policies in a way that will encourage the production of solar electricity and thus lower the carbon footprint for all of us here in Eugene.

Working with Brett Moser (Solar Designer/Consultant) at AES on buying a 4.16 KWT solar panel system for our house was easy and enjoyable. All my questions, and I had many, were answered in a knowledgeable and timely manor. He always responded to my calls quickly. My biggest fear about the installation was the breakage of the concrete tiles on our roof, which can be easily broken by stepping on them the wrong way. Many have been broken over the years, but the installation crew did not break a single tile. I was very impressed with the care they took. There was a little glitch in the initial start up of the panels, but it was quickly fixed and I have been very pleased with the results of our new system.

We could not be more pleased with our AES solar system. Installation went quickly and everyone on the crew that we met was professional, friendly and helpful. would recommend them to anyone considering a solar system.

From start to finish, the folks at AES were friendly and professional. My local utility wanted my system to be smaller than my current annual use. They did not want to take into account my additional electrical needs from installing a Heat Pump (for use during the winter on days above 35 degrees and for cooling during summer heat). Advanced Energy Systems calculated my new use requirements and went to bat for me with the utility company. I got the system I wanted.
AES worked with me and the electricians when the electricians wanted to change the locations of the outlets available during any power outages. I know what I wanted and what AES and I had agreed to. ASE again stood up for me and my needs.
I've since found out that AES put in 3 other systems my friends have. Everyone has been very pleased with their work, myself included. I recommend anyone living in Lane Co. get bids and talk with AES staff.

Advanced Energy Systems (AES) have done two major projects for me and I give Justin, Paul, Brian and the entire team at AES top marks in every aspect of their work. The first project was a solar energy and water heating installation which was completed in 2015. It has been completely trouble-free. The second project, which has just been completed, was the installation of a whole-house outdoor generator plus 2x1000gal propane tanks. It was a complex project and involved several sub-contractors as well as the superb AES team. AES chose the sub-contractors and they all did great work. Everyone at AES is a delight to work with: they listen, they answer every question, they research and plan everything very thoroughly, they work to the highest standards - they are a great company!

Not an honorable company. Solar consultant Justin did not honor his appointment with me and then lied about it to place blame elsewhere. He would not even admit what he did. Very unprofessional work practices.

I worked with Justin Wilber on the install of two residential systems. AES' entire staff conducted themselves professionally, and were knowledgable every step of the way. I contacted 5 different solar installers in the Eugene/Salem area for comparative bids. AES's final bid was not the lowest, but I went with AES because they were knowledgable and found me the answers, not just at the beginning during the initial sale, but through the whole process. AES knows what they are doing and has the resources to complete their projects according to the timelines agreed upon. It was a great experience, and I think you will be delighted by their service too.
