Our entire street was completely blocked by Monkey Tree Service on April 17. Absolutely no pre-warning was given and caused a huge inconvenience for those neighbors who couldn’t get their cars out. This was ridiculous!

Had a tree come down in the yard. Called and they responded very quickly. Setup a time for the guys to come out and remove tree. Arrived on time, fast and efficient. Cleaned everything up before they left. Will gladly recommend this company to anyone who needs tree service

So far it is 3 stars, may update to change but I think it is unacceptable for a company to book an initial quote, then let the meeting time pass without so much as a call. Not a great first impression, does not take much to send a text or call if you’re going to be late.

They were eager to get to my house the day after I called, gave me a few options for times. I had to take some time off work to meet them. 15 minutes after the meeting time I had heard nothing from the company. I had to call back to find out they were running late and couldn’t show up until 30 minutes after our meeting time. This is not good business. I’ll hear them out on the quote but I don’t see why I would choose them.

These guys were punctual, hard working, guys. They cleaned up trees, cut trees down for us and for our neighbors with efficiency. They all were, including Eric the boss, really nice guys doing a really hard job with a smile on their faces!

After watching in pure amazement as this company removed our neighbors tree, I asked one of the team members if he could give me a quote on removing our cherry tree that was growing into the power lines and the roots in our pipes. He said the gentleman in the tree (Eric) could provide a quote when they finished with the neighbors tree. Even then I was impressed after all that work, Eric still came to provide an estimate. Very professional, this team is absolutely amazing, fast, and work together in a safe manner. We had other quotes that were much higher and not as flexible as this company. I highly recommend anyone looking to remove a tree/trees contact Monkey Tree Service! You won’t be disappointed! Great job

They were prompt - We had them remove a dead tree and grind the stump. They removed the tree right away and did the tree grinding about a week later without reminder phone calls. They were reasonable, did what they said they would and without creating a mess. They even cleaned up the street so no mess was left on to the public street.

Erik and his crew communicated their schedule, estimates, and payment, promptly with digital tools and email. They showed up early each day, and completed the work safely and quickly with little down time. They cleaned up after themselves, and were transparent about the project progress. They were also able to adjust the estimate based on the changing on site job scope. I would highly recommend monkey tree services for future work.

We have had Monkey Tree Services take out three big white oaks in close proximity to our house as part of two separate jobs. They are a friendly and professional group with competitive rates. They even found their way out to our house for a quote immediately after the big 2021 ice storm when other companies could not navigate the roads. I would not hesitate to work with them again for big tree removals.

Update: One drawback is that their stump grinding service was not very thorough - certainly not the complete removal down to 2ft that other companies advertise (although it was much cheaper than the competition). We have had some issues with stump remnants pretty close to the surface.

Eric and his crew are the best!. Trees fell in my yard. One of them threatening my neighbors house. They came out the same day. Gave me an estimate and came the next day to clear out the the tree that was dangerous, even though the temperature was still below freezing and there was snow all over the place. They're efficient, do a really good job of cleanup and follow through with anything that they promise. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We did have a communication issue shortly after the crew started. After speaking to management about our contract, the issue was resolved. I was very impressed. The crew was very professional and efficient. They were respectable to our property and the neighbors'. We keep the wood. They stacked it very neatly where I had wanted. They cleaned up the entire area so well most could not tell a tree was taken down. You may have noticed I gave them 5 stars even though we had an issue in the beginning. This is because the issue was resolved, and the crew did a wonderful job.

They did such a great job for us this week, removing an enormous 3-4 story Fir tree and trimming 7 Leyland Cypress trees in our backyard. They were fast and accurate and did a nice cleanup after the work. They did a great job! The crew returned two days later to grind the tree stump. I was so impressed that they maneuvered the huge grinder through our backyard without damaging a single rosebush branch! Definitely recommend Monkey Tree Service!

I used Monkey Tree Service to have a tree removed in my backyard. From the initial call through the date of the tree removal, they were very responsive and very professional. Scheduling the initial estimate and tree removal was easy. On the day of the scheduled tree removal, they keep me informed on when they would be arriving so I could plan accordingly. Upon arrival, they were very quick and cleaned the entire project beyond what I expected. The crew was considerate and respectful of my home and neighbors when moving their equipment. My Wife and I could not be happier with the work and company. I will recommend them anyone that needs a tree removed. Amazing service.

I had Monkey Tree Service remove two trees in front of my house including the stump removal. I was very pleased with their work. They cut two trees down, hauled away the wood, removed the stumps, and cleaned up the area. Very professional and reasonable. I would recommend them.

Their customer service is outstanding—they responded to my initial inquiry quickly and set up a time for a free estimate faster than you can say "timber!" The quote they gave me was spot on, and there were no surprises when it came time to pay. What they quoted was exactly what I paid.

The crew that came out—four professional and friendly guys—were a well-oiled machine. They had the tree down and cleaned up in no time, even raking up the little twigs and leaves. Very very very bad service. Erik (the general manager) came to my house to give me an estimate for my bamboo that needed thinning and removal. He stated that he could do some of the work in July, and some in September. After numerous unreturned calls over a month or so, he finally answered his phone, and stated that he wouldn’t be able to do it, setting me back 6 weeks.

They did a great job cutting 3 trees avg 60-100 ft, inside the apartment complex without damaging a single thing, they were responsive and professional.

I had a great experience using Monkey tree to remove a tree from my backyard that was leaning and breaking my sprinkler system. They had a great price, did a great job and a very friendly, professional crew. Will use them in the future and recommend to my friends.

Ben & his team took down 3 cottonwood trees (approx 80' tall) from our property in amazing professional style. As you can see from the photo we had a 5th wheel and shed in close proximity to the work area. Ben assured us that they would not be in danger, and all was completed without a hitch. In less than three hours this company completed the job, as well as total cleanup of all debris and tree remnants. Hats off to a great team! BTW, that's Alec at the top of the tree (so impressive to watch him work).

I would not use Monkey Tree Service again.

We hired them for a full day to handle tree maintenance and various cleanup projects on our newly purchased property. They offered a day rate, and I confirmed in advance that all the requested tasks could be completed within that day—something they assured me was feasible.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The crew arrived late, were not briefed on the scope of work, and came unprepared. I had to walk them through the entire project, which delayed the start even further. Despite the agreement, they did not complete all of the tasks we had discussed, left before the day was over, and failed to clean up fully—leaving debris for us to deal with afterward.

I also noticed some damage to flower beds in the yard, and some siding on the house. While I understand their contract includes language about potential collateral impact, I expected more care and consideration around the rest of the landscaping.

Overall, I regret paying the full-day rate for what felt like partial service.
