Joseph, Carlos, & Dyran were outstanding. We had a big project for tree removal and topping off 2 giant trees. They were courteous, professional, and respectful. Elwood’s always does a wonderful job!
    Thank you guys!

We normally do our own tree trimming but needed some help catching up with projects this year and reached out to Elwood Tree Service after finding their ad in the mail. The initial walk through was very informative and we decided how best we could work together. They cleared the deadwood off the cedars closest to the house as seen in the before and after pictures. Everyone we talked to was very professional and communicated any changes during the process in advance. We'd hire them again and really appreciate that even though our project was small they treated it just as professionally as a big job!

We continue to rely on Elwood's Tree Service to maintain our trees. Joseph and Caleb came by yesterday to prune our Oregon White Oaks and fruit trees, and to check the cable supporting one of the oak's major branches. They performed the requested tasks carefully and professionally, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Joseph showed us what he and Caleb had done, and fully explained it and answered our questions. We are happy with their work.

Pictures say 1000 words.... before and after. Mother nature was taking my tree apart limb by limb. Self thinning. The last one took out a bank of mail boxes. Dalton was here in a short time and work was done so fast. His crew arrived early and they were wonderful. Its now safe to walk in front of my house again. I and many of the neighbors thank you.

They did an awesome job saving my tree so no complaints there. However the invoice I received was $329 higher then the bid with the bid clearly stating “not to exceed $1200”, just be careful . I would have given 5 stars had there not been a billing issue.

I’m actually very disappointed,I called Elwood to come out and give me a bid,he did that, very nice guy,but I ended up going with another company that was cheaper,I have owned my own business for years, and I encourage people to get other bids,if you can save money and still get quality, then please do so.so I call Elwood yesterday to come out and give me a bid on taking another tree down, they said they would be here,I seen them drive by,and when I called they informed me that since they gave me a bid last time and I went with someone else, they weren’t going to give me a bid,or even show up,as a business owner I find that very unprofessional, and very disappointing, herd good things about the company, last I checked it was part of the process to call around and get multiple bids, when hiring someone to do a job,I wish I was able to turn down work,I wouldn’t be in business if I had that kind of business ethics.

I do not want to write a negative review, but I feel like I have been given the run around. Elwood never calls back when they say they will. In August of 2020, I saw Elwood doing work at my neighbor’s house. I was impressed with how quickly and neatly the work was completed. After talking to the workers, I called the number to schedule some tree pruning. It was August, so I was told to call back in November, which made sense because the trees to be pruned would be dormant. I called in November and had a great conversation with the person who answered. She told me that Elwood was busy, but that she had taken my information and I would get a call to schedule the appointment by December 15, 2020, at the very latest. No call on the 15th, but I understood they where busy and was patient. I called Elwood the afternoon of December 20, and left a quick message asking if I was still on the waiting list. No call back. I waited patiently until January 21, 2021, and called in. The woman who answered was very friendly and said that she still had all of my information on her computer, but said it was too late in the afternoon to schedule an appointment because everything was closed up. She apologized for not calling me back earlier, and told me she had assumed that I had called another trees service. I told her that I had not called another tree service, and had been waiting for a call back from the Elwood. She apologized again and promised to call me the next morning to schedule an appointment. No call back the next morning on 1/22/21. I called that afternoon and left a message saying how I was still waiting, and that I might try calling over the weekend. It is February 27, 2021 and they still have not called back. I do not understand why the representative of the company doesn’t say, “We are too busy to help you.” Being told that I am on a waiting list or that I will be called in the morning does not seem fair or professional, if they have no intention of following through.
