Called Jake with Oregon Healthy Homes to come out to clean our dryer vents which hadn't been cleaned in 25 years by the original owners. As expected, they were very bad and full of lint. Jake was very professional and did a great job in a short amount of time. Explained everything in detail he was doing and gave great advice on keeping our vents clean and clear. Included in the price of this service was a free indoor air quality test to make sure there were no harmful chemicals or gases present. As a parent, I thought this was a great added benefit going with Oregon Healthy homes. I will definitely be using Jake again for this dryer vent service along with all my other Heating and cooling maintenance.

I used these guys a few months ago for HVAC maintenance and duct cleaning. I liked them so much it was easy to call them again when it was time for our dryer vent cleaning. (HOA dictates the timeframe that needs to happen, otherwise I’d have had it serviced on their initial visit) Communication was great, service was prompt and professional, and they answered ask my questions. I couldn't be happier with the services Jake provided. He is very passionate about home air quality and inspected my entire HVAC system and measured my home air quality before making recommendations. He found a number of items that needed to be repaired and improved that other companies overlooked, including cleaning our HVAC system and ducts, installing a fresh air system, and even dryer vent cleaning. It is very difficult to find a company that will both perform HVAC repairs and monitor/make air quality improvements. He and Jasmine were very responsive and the work was performed quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this business to anyone.

The bad news: your heat stopped working in winter.
The good news: there's a company that will take care of you without taking you. It's this one.

The first folks I called wanted a deposit that would have been almost as much as the final bill for OHH, non-refundable. Meanwhile, OHH had a visit deposit that wouldn't have covered time and gas, and could come out same day (I asked for next). And when they *did* they replaced my filters and didn't even ask for the deposit or any payments while they ordered the part that was missing. Somewhere in the back of my head, around now, a voice started piping up, "Welll, shewt. They're really going to hit you with the bill on this one, when it's done..." That voice is usually right. Couldn't have been more wrong this time: final bill was $110 over the other company's roll out charge.

Jake handled my intake, and was a scholar and a gentleman. Ford came out and took care of the work; he was polite, but also relaxed and was a real person with me. The perfect balance.

It's not that I hope my house breaks again, but I'm a lot less worried about the next time it does. In this teeny arena.

They reached out to me shortly after I made an inquiry to get furnace maintenance. They scheduled me the next day. Michael showed up in the time frame I was given when I made the appointment. He even gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way. He was very through with the inspection on my unit. He answered all the questions and concerns I had. I’m very satisfied with the results. My furnace is up and running for the cold season.

Jake and James were on time, friendly, professional and did an excellent job! Jake explained what he was doing and not only cleaned the vent but inspected for proper venting from the dryer all the way to the venting from the roof (and cleaned up the lint off the roof). He also went above and beyond and checked for mold in my attic when I mentioned that I had had a roof leak that had been fixed a few months ago. I will be using him going forward and am recommending him to my neighbors!

Jacob and his team came out to help me with my mini split, thry came out fixed the problem and gave some great short term and long term options. They also did an indoor quality test for my home. Professional, great communication and fair price.

What’s in your air? My family has been waking up stuffy and my son’s Asthma has been more problematic than normal. Colby from Oregon Healthy Homes, came out to clean the vents in my house. But did so with a Vacuum system while monitoring the air in the house. He was polite and professional. After, the boss came out to go over the results of the air monitoring. Because of this, I now know how I can improve the air quality in my home. I highly recommend this company and more so their tactics. You should find out what’s in your air.

Jake and James showed up on the morning of our appointment and gave me a quick run through of what happens during a duct cleaning. Jake ran an air quality test and floor protectors protectors were laid and they promptly got to work. When they were finished Jake gave me a breakdown of any problem areas and suggestions to help improve the air quality in our home, as well as tips to make on our furnace and thermostat work most effectively. Jake takes air quality seriously and you can tell he is passionate and very knowledgeable. We have scheduled to have them come back and add some addition air purification/cleaning elements into our existing system.
On the scheduling end of things, Jasmine was so helpful and kept in touch through out as well as answered questions I had before the cleaning!

I had new mini-splits put in my home this past week. Justin Lamers was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions regarding the best units for my home. Michael Opperman, my technician, for two days worked diligently getting my mini-splits up and running. What a nice and friendly, young man. He explained things expertly and on my level. My home was clean and tidy when he left, and he taught me all I needed to know. THANK YOU for all your hard work!

They walked me through the entire process from start to finish and I was so confident in their service I now use them at my personal home. We bought our first home and wanted the ducts cleaned because the home was built in the 70’s. We decided to have Oregon Healthy Homes out for a cleaning of our ducts for our new home. When we contacted OHH they recommended Aeroseal after letting them know we noticed the airflow was not even and not as strong on the second floor. We felt, given the age of the home it would be needed to make our home more energy efficient to clean any dirt & debris from years of usage and to seal the ducts so we don’t lose airflow from the old ductwork. Colby from O.H.H showed up on time and was professional and courteous from the moment he arrived. He gave me a rundown of what he would be doing and what I could expect throughout the visit. He let me know Jacob would be there the second half of the visit to set up and do Aeroseal treatment. He made sure to prep and setup floor protection throughout the areas of the home they would be working in.
Colby got his process going and shortly after Jacob showed up and introduced himself and check with Colby to see how things were going. They let me know that there was a significant amount of debris from years of use.
They set up the machines in the garage and Jacob explained how it all works. They did a test to check the airflow before Aeroseal. We found that there was significant air loss happening. This could be the reason our airflow was not even and so bad upstairs. He explained that the air loss was the equivalent of a 55” hole in our duct work system.
The actual Aeroseal process was fascinating to see and learn about. Throughout the process they were vigilant in making sure everything went correctly and checked on things along the process.
After the treatment was done, Jacob showed me the results from the second test. It showed a significant improvement in air loss, bringing that loss down to 4.5”.
As they were finishing up and cleaning I let Jacob know my HVAC systems fan function was not working as expected. He grabbed some tools and opened up my furnace and took a look inside it while Colby went in and looked at thermostat, when he took it off and they found the previous installers did a terrible job at the installation. Wires were broken, not functioning and they had sold the previous owner an oversized furnace for the home (Don’t buy a HVAC system from Costco. Their install company is know for their poor quality of work).
They rewired the furnace and got it working as it should.
We immediately noticed an improvement in the balance of airflow and upstairs finally gets the airflow it needed.
They took a look at some other projects that we needed a quote for that they can help with. Adding attic insulation, changing out bath fans, some venting issues and tackling some mold remediation needed in the attic.
The knowledge and passion they have to ensure that homes are energy efficient is superb. They were great and would recommend them to friends and family.

I called around to compare quotes and they were able to offer me the best all around deal. They did the work quickly and beautifully!
