Landscaping reviews in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania

Hands down my favorite place to buy my plants and accessories. It's the only thing they do and they do it the best.
-
Definitely a great knowledgeable place
Always anticipating the Holidays and my lovely tree from them.
Been going to them over 10 years now. -
Nice people who really care about the customers. The family persevered despite the township trying to destroy the business; I am glad to continue to support them! 👍

I love Hillside I am there every Spring and Winter. It's always a special trip. A great place to begin a new season.
-
great local place for bulk mulch. They have a great selection of plants as well. The new site is great and easy to get too
-
Great staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Appreciated all information the lady gave me. Looking forward to return for my Banana Plant in the Spring.
-
We bought a lot of plants there but they cannot answer our questions about insects overall they have a good product for a good price
-
Extremely Knowledgeable, Very Helpful and Talk with ya like they live right next door to ya.
Thanks Hillside Family for Sticking by us For All these years.
The Best !!! -
hillside nursery has always had a very good selection of plants that you can't find anywhere else, and the prices are good. good friendly service. 😇
-
My neighborhood nursery. They once gave me the ingredients to make my own soil. They have a nice selection of plants and flowers, and will answer your questions. Nice people.
-
Great selection of plants and other gardening products. Would have given 5 stars but the prices are a little high, but what isn't?
-
They have very good sod and very good plants.
-
Nice selection and reasonable prices. Their plants are definetely cared for more then big box home improvement stores. Support local and shop here.
-
When you ask a question about a product, you get a response from the owner or mgr. "I don't know. I'm stuck in this hell-hole all day, 7 days a week". Not my idea of good customer service.
-
It's a nice small business. They have a good variety of plants and flowers. They are pricey but its a small business so it's expected. Not alot of parking so you may have to park on the street.
-
Very well stocked neighborhood garden center. Staff is knowledgeable and salt of the earth, with an emphasis on salty. Plenty of Philly-area addytude...don't come looking for hugs and kisses, just good plants, it also helps if you know what you need.
-
Wonderful family business. Everyone is very very helpful & knowledgable of everything in their nursery. If u don't know what u want in ur yard or beds, take a photo, take it with u to Hillside Nursery & they will give u suggestions & great ideas. That's what I did & everything is beautiful.

What is the use of having a huge pile of firewood on premises then closing for January-Feburary? FAIL...
NOTE:
I had bought firewood here in the past and it was decent wood at a somewhat reasonable price. But they need to at least have a number to call and set up an appointment during their "winter vacation". -
Had a ni e bried visit. Got some pumpkins and gourds. Paid less than what the listed prices suggested. The woman at the register was nice, but the few workers standing arounf were not as such. Wouldnt smile back or say hello when we walked and one guy wouldn't stop staring at my girlfriend and I which made it awkward, and us want to leave quickly. Dunno if Ill go back.

This is such a lovely nursery. The woman. Who helped me was so friendly And knowledgeable. I came on looking for something specific. After a brief description of growth season schedule. I was advised to come back in two weeks. Which I will do.

Hands down the worst place to go. After calling I was told my mulch was just loaded and on its way, 3 hours later ... no mulch. So I called back and they messed up my delivery date for mulch and blamed it on me saying I had ordered it for the following day. Terrible customer service and extremely rude on the phone. Canceled my order and I will never be giving them my business in the future
