Refused to even come out and look at our job. Told me my job could only be done by spray foam and that can't be done in winter and they wouldn't even look, despite my requests. Turns out, no spray foam is needed for our job (per other insulation companies that were more professional and would actually look at the job). There is a completely open crawl space where roll foam can be installed. Merola seems to be too busy to actually care about it's (potential) customers or their cold rooms. It has enough business, so why be professional and give factual information and useful advice? Had we listened to Merola, we would have lived with a very cold room for the rest of the winter!

My husband and I just had them out to do insulation in our attics and overhangs. We were on the schedule with in a week of being called to set a date. They showed up right on time and the owner Bill came out too. All of the employees were very courteous, they laid sheets over the floors and were in and out the same day. We had insulation in the overhangs added from the inside and we were warned that this would increase the level of mess in all our upstairs rooms. I came home expecting a disaster and found minimal traces of insulation and dust. I was extremely impressed! The finish work was also very nice and the overall price was fair. We will use them again for any additional insulation projects.

Wow. Purchased a 3,800sf 112 year old farmhouse. No exterior wall insulation and very little rafter insulation. Bill Merola saved us! Very professional, clean, fairly priced and most importantly it worked! Our first winter without insulation we spent over $3,000 in heating costs, the next winter? Less than $1,300, so ya. I'd say one heck of a great investment. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed! FYI, I waited 1.5 years to write this review as I wanted to see what happened during winter AND this crazy hot summer. The insulation did its job keeping the cold in too!

Loved working with Merola! They did an excellent job insulating our crawlspaces and garage ceiling. They cut into a dormer wall and did nice plastering work to close it off again, too. The technicians were very communicative and nice, and Lynda took her time to do a thorough inspection of our space on the initial estimate. They were also the cheaper of the two estimates we received! We're much warmer now. Thanks Merola!
