High quality and quick work grading, expanding and repaving our driveway. I love being able to park two cars side-by-side now.

I can’t say enough good things about the experience with SETCO paving. Great people, and service. I got several quotes for my driveway but SETCO was the best. They showed up when they said and finished really quick with great results.

Our HOA hired Setco Paving to fix a drainage problem on our shared driveway. The entire point of the job was to make water run toward the street instead of pooling. After paying $9,200 up front, the crew showed up, laid asphalt around existing concrete patches without removing them, and left. The drainage is just as bad as before — in some spots worse. Save yourself the headache and find someone who actually stands behind their work.

Our shared driveway was repaved by Setco and we genuinely cannot believe they had the nerve to ask for the remaining payment.

We hired them to re-pave a sizable driveway shared by 12 homes to improved drainage.

Concrete patches from prior underground pipe repairs were left completely in place... not removed, not milled down, just left there with asphalt around them.

The drainage grades are wrong throughout. There are depressions and craters in the brand new asphalt that will hold water all winter. Do yourself a favor and hire literally anyone else.

I wish there was an option for zero stars.

If you are an HOA board member looking for a paving contractor, please read this carefully!!

Setco Paving took a $9,200 deposit from our HOA, performed work that failed to meet the most basic requirements of our written contract, and then threatened to sue us when we withheld the remaining balance. The contract required drainage correction... The drainage was not corrected. The contract required surface preparation... The surface was not properly prepared. Concrete patches were left exposed. Asphalt edges were left unfinished. This is not a contractor dispute over minor details — this is a company that DID NOT DO THE JOB IS WAS CONTRACTED TO DO and expects to be paid anyway.

Paid $9,200 to get exactly what we started with — or worse

We hired Setco Paving to replace our driveway through our HOA. The entire reason for the project was to fix pooling water and address concrete patches from prior underground pipe repairs. The contract explicitly required milling down the asphalt to correct drainage so water runs to the street, and proper prep of the surface.

What we got: the concrete patches were never removed — they simply paved around them. And after all that work, we still have areas where water pools.

In other words, we paid $9,200 to end up with the same problems we already had. When we refused to pay the remaining $9,300 balance due to the incomplete and defective work, they threatened to sue us.

We have documentation of the pooling and the remaining patches. We would strongly caution any HOA or homeowner from using this company for any paving project. Do your research and make sure your contract has inspection checkpoints before final payment — we wish we had.

My job was just completed today and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Communication was great and I believe the pricing was very fair. This was not an easy job because I live in a row home with a driveway that is shared by all. The job was done right by removing all of the existing concrete and replacing with asphalt. Also, it was necessary to fix my neighbors property and that was taken care of too. It looks beautiful and I am happy that I won’t have to worry about this anymore . They lined the border with beautiful Belgian block which was a great touch. Thank you, Tom.

Tom from Setco Paving and Landscaping gave us a thorough explanation of the work he and his crew would perform based on our specifications. He provided a fair price, did an excellent job, and met our expectations. Tom was very friendly, professional, and came across as extremely honest throughout the process. I would highly recommend him to my neighbors and would gladly use him again for future paving and hardscaping projects.
