Their craftsmanship is exceptional and pay close attention to detail. The team is professional, personal, and very responsive when communicating providing a smooth, stress free experience. I am extremely pleased with my new home and would definitely build with McCoy Construction again.

After building custom homes in Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Illinois, and, finally, South Dakota due to multiple corporate relocations, I can confidently say that McCoy Construction has been the best company I’ve partnered with throughout my family’s tour of the Midwest. I couldn’t have asked for a better builder for our home.

From start to finish, McCoy brought deep industry experience, professionalism, and attention to detail to every phase of our project. Whether it was planning, execution, or final touches, their knowledgeable team had the skills and tools to ensure everything was done right, and with the care we expected.

Although we made several trips to the site, my wife, Krista, and I worked primarily with Chad, McCoy's founder, in a remote capacity, as our home was under construction during COVID and we were living in another state. What set Chad and his team apart was their personalized and calculated approach. Every interaction was met with flexibility and thoughtfulness, aligning with our vision and consistently delivering results that often exceeded our high standards. McCoy’s strikes a rare balance. They’re sizable enough to provide professional-grade expertise, but agile enough to offer the personal touches that made us feel like their top priority.

The end result is a home we are incredibly proud of, one that reflects top-tier craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and meticulous execution. It’s a home that ultimately earned McCoy Construction a first-place win in the 2021 Sioux Empire Parade of Homes.

We had a great experience working with McCoy Construction and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality new home builder. The craftsmanship throughout our new home is excellent, and the attention to detail really shows. They took the time to make sure everything matched our vision and were responsive whenever we had questions or wanted adjustments.

Both Chads were fantastic to work with. Their experience and knowledge gave us a lot of confidence that things were being done correctly and with long term durability in mind. It is clear they take pride in their work and care about building homes that will last.

We also want to highlight Lindsey in the office, who did an excellent job with communication. She kept us informed throughout the process and was always helpful and timely with responses, which made everything much smoother.

The only downside was that our build took about a month longer than expected due to a Parade of Homes project being prioritized. While the delay was a bit frustrating, the final result was well worth the wait.

Overall, we are very happy with our home and grateful for the quality and professionalism McCoy Construction delivered. We would gladly work with them again.
