The southeast restoration team was extremely quick. They were on site the day after I called and immediately got to work. Jack Boone texted/called with updates every day and let us know exactly what he and the team were doing and how it was going. Very informative with great communication. They got us taken care of quickly and efficiently. Couldn't have done a better job!

Discovered we had a leak somewhere in our exterior dining room wall, including mold. Contacted Southeast to find the problem, and make the necessary repairs. Our dining room wall was completely removed, and reconstructed. Thought the problem was fixed. Same problem occurred again, but they were unable to find what was causing it. Dining room wall was taken down again. Interior reconstruction on interior was completed by less than trained workers. I decided I would sand and repaint the walls myself. And again, problem has reoccurred. Water is leaking into the walls. Of course, my warranty has ended, so I will move on to another company.

James was great. He communicated well and went out of his way to make sure my place was taken care of. Everyone that came to work on my place was respectful and the work was done quickly and well. Thanks James!

Southeast Restoration is by far the best company in Augusta/Evans Georgia for mitigating damage to your home and property. We have used them several times, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. They respond quickly, work with insurance companies, and always leave everything perfect.

Everyone person I spoke with or came to my home was very personal and explained in detail what to expect and how the process worked. The guys who came to my house worked extremely hard. In addition, it was one of the best communication from a company that I've experienced. Great job from the start to the finish.

I could not be more happier using Southeast Restoration to restore our basement that had been flooded. Everyone I worked with was very informative and professional. They kept me up to date with every progress and stayed in contact with my insurance to make sure everything was covered.

Southeast Restoration is helping my family after a tree fell on our home. So far they've been very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The process can be very tedious at times, so it's nice to have their open availability to answer questions whenever they arise.

UPDATE: Again, more misinformation. When you came by yesterday, you had no intentions to rectify anything. I asked and you said my concerns were not related to my loss. You told me you spent hours reviewing my files which clearly you didn't because I have no idea why you would have even said that. Simply showing up and saying "oh, sorry" does not erase the issues or justify taking down my review. This experience has made it clear yet again that accountability isn’t a priority for your company.

In mid-May 2024, a tree fell on my house. My insurance company referred me to Southeast Restoration, and at first, they seemed great. That quickly changed, pretty much right after I signed their paperwork.

The water remediation crew came in and threw all my kitchen items—cabinets, countertops, sink, everything—into my garage with zero organization or care. They didn’t bother keeping parts together or ensuring things weren’t damaged. Their reasoning? I was getting a “brand new kitchen” anyway. Or at least that's what they said because I don't know why else they would have been so careless. Guess what though? I did NOT get a brand new kitchen so everything had to go back in.

When the roofing crew finally showed up, I let them use my backyard picnic table for lunch. In return, they left all their trash for me to clean up and even doodled on it with pens and pencils. Who does that? On top of that, they did a lousy job with cleanup, leaving nails scattered all over my yard and driveway.

Communication with this company is, without a doubt, the WORST I have ever experienced. I heard every excuse in the book for delays, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability. They showed up whenever they pleased, then I wouldn't hear from them for a long time. I repeatedly asked them to put up a dust barrier inside my home—sometimes they did, but then they removed it for whatever reason. I asked them to keep my bathroom door closed to minimize dust, yet they constantly “forgot.” They promised to hire a cleanup crew, but (big surprise) that never happened.

Fast forward to October—the project was finally “done.” At that point, I was just relieved to have them out of my house. But then, the leaks started. Water was coming in from my fireplace, creating an indoor waterfall feature I never asked for. I called them back, and Dylan and Jason came out to inspect. Their verdict? It was “wear and tear” on my chimney. Funny how that wear and tear only started after they installed my roof.

Oh yeah, this wasn’t even the first time I had an issue with the roof—before they got paid, they "fixed" a problem, only for it to happen again. This time, I wasn’t taking their word for it. I hired an engineer, and guess what? He immediately saw the problem: the flashing wasn’t installed correctly. Only after this was proven to them did they come back to (hopefully) fix it...fingers crossed.

As of now, I’m still waiting—months later—for them to install a missing drip edge. First, they told me it “doesn’t go there because there is a gutter" which again, another lie. Dylan, I am still waiting to have your team come take care of this for me, as well as sealing the countertops so water doesn't keep leaking into my cabinets from the sink, and I expect to have notice. Do not contact me the morning of to let me know the crew are on their way. I expect a date and time.

I also want to mention I am going to have to get someone else to come and replace my floor because they cut corners here as well. I never had highs and lows with my floor and now I do. It has a bounce to it and when I said something, Jason told me "it's a floating floor and that's how it works." No, you just don't know what you're doing OR you do know what you're doing and just don't care. I don't know which one is worse. Oh, and I am going to have to have someone come and fix the ceiling too because the poor paint job looks like water stains in some parts of my kitchen.

Had I read a review like this before, I would have never used them. Do yourself a favor and please choose someone else.

A very professional company. Jacob Flanagan was a pleasure to work with. Strong communication and professionalism throughout the job. They understand the struggle of a house claim and dealing with insurance. They were positive and intentional to get our home repaired as quick as possible after long insurance delays. They made our home better than it was before our incident.

Southeast is also convenient to work with due to the fact you work with only 1 or 2 people. It's nice to not go through multiple contractors to get the variety of work completed. The coordination position was the biggest value in the repair process.

Good work, quick response times, great availability, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

No problems sommth tranaction they handled all the insurance companies clean up

Water came into my downstairs when my sump pump quit working during two days of heavy rain. I called Southeast Restoration in the early morning hours. They sent someone during regular hours as I had requested. They arrived early, got the furniture off the wet carpet, removed all the wet carpet and pads, and disinfected everything. There were four rooms of carpet plus a tiled bathroom. They were finished by early evening and set up dehumidifiers and air movers all over the downstairs. After that someone came each day and checked the machines and the amount of wetness on the bottom of walls. They were very thorough.

Highly recommend this company.
They are professional and knowledgeable.
Will definitely use them again!
