I had a great experience working with Five Star. Mike came out for a tankless water heater quote and walked me through everything that needed to be done and made sure to answer all my questions. He and his co-worker did an excellent, professional job and kept consistent communication with me through the install process. What they quoted is what I paid, so no hidden cost or surprises! The total cost was much less than other quotes I received and I plan to use them for any future needs.

I've used this company for years for annual service without issue but now that something is actually wrong with my unit it's obvious this company has no actual clue what they are doing.

My unit worked intermittently and they initially could not find anything wrong with the A/C unit and indicated the coils had probably frozen due to a dirty filter.

It died later that week and they indicated they would be there the following day to investigate. They put a new capacitor on and said they need to order a blower motor and would be back the next day.
Day of the repair I wait and wait past the time they said they'd be there and finally call them. The receptionist isn't even aware I was supposed to have service that day.

They get someone out at the last minute and he doesn't have the right blower motor and doesn't install it correctly because the unit sounds like a dryer with a shoe in it. The incorrect installation destroys the blower wheel and now the unit doesn't work at all.

I am again without heat/air and they said they'd be back in a couple days. Day of the repair I call and again the receptionist has no idea I was supposed to be serviced that day and they don't even have the part for another couple days.

The day they are supposed to get the part in I call and they confirm they will be out and they have all the parts necessary to fix the unit. Moments before they are due to come out they call me and tell me the part they have is the wrong part and now they won't be out for another 4-5 days.

This is without a doubt the worst service I've ever received in my life from any company.

I have been without heat and air for three weeks now because of these people's incompetence and am unsure if they actually intend to fix my unit or if they're going to continue to string me along forever.

They are now foisting responsibility for the repair onto another company. This company is a failure.

The next company installed the blower motor backwards, used the wrong voltage capacitor, and failed to notice the source of the issue.

I had to call a third company who instantly knew what the real problem was. A burnt out control board.
Just call Denney Mechanical and get someone who knows what they're doing instead of being strung along for 2 months like I was.
