The garden center is awesome. I needed plants that will grow in shade and handle the heat. Lowe's was the only place I could find them.

It's all about the discount plant bins. But they need to stop stockong plants and flowers that don't tolerate Texas heat. If they had a Texas native plant section that would be a hit.

Always good stuff. We always look for the torn bags of gardening supplies to pay half price. We just bring a roll of packing tape and tape it up in the car.

Lowes blows, and not in a good way. I bought a lawn mower 2 years ago with the extended warranty. The warranty was $50. The mower broke I took it back to them, they sent it off to the repair shop, week later I went back and got it. They tried to charge me $120 for the repair even though I had the extended warranty. I got it down to $67. So I paid more for the repair than I did the extended warranty which should have covered the repair.
