From the guy who advised me on tree species and lot placement to the guy who delivered and planted, Covington's is the best. I've bought 2 trees from them and plan on getting the next 2 from them as well.

Dylan and his three man crew, Melvin, Adan and Hector, came to my home yesterday (3/5) to set my wife's monster rock bench in place and plant a six headed Yucca rostrata for me. The crew hit the mark on all aspects of the jobs and exceeded my expectations when they took the time to correct my un-level flagstone work.

I have driven past Covington's for 30 years and finally went in today and all I can say is WOW!! The selection, in every area, is amazing. We weren't on the shopping floor for 45 seconds before we were greeted by an employee and promptly helped with finding the exact plants I was looking for. I am so happy with my Passion Flower Vine and my aromatics!! I won't waste my time anywhere else ever again. 10/10 Service and Selection

The nursery is very large with but organized and well laid out. The staff is always helpful and friendly and there are usually quite a few employees available to help.
The plants are always healthy and there is a large selection. They also carry a large selection of pots and yard decorations.
Plan on spending at least an hour to acquaint yourself with all of the different sections. Also note, they have bulk dirt, soil, mulch etc and an office for large orders.

I purchased bulk soil blend and compost. Process was easy in-and-out. The machine operator was friendly and precise in dropping the product. Bulk product can be ordered at the customer service counter in the checkout area.

Probably the best Japanese maples in the metroplex, and for sure the nicest staff. Had the best time here and is worth the drive from where ever you may be. 10/10

Covington's is by far THE BEST in the DFW area! I've spent hours shopping and just looking around for inspiration. The prices are fair and the quality is exceptional! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable an extremely helpful. The grounds so beautiful and clean, it feels as if your in a park.

Phenomenal customer service. Although the houseplants are super priced up. Can get the same thing from Lowe’s for half the price.

Sarah and Lily out by the Christmas trees were a delight. Sarah took her time showing me each of the types of trees and the flocking options. She also gave me some great advice on a few of my plants I had bought earlier.

El upstairs was outstanding helping me pick out a gift for my niece. They understood all the words I did not and gave great input on what type of care each plant needed.

Orion helped me in checkout and was just delightful.

Disney world for plant lovers. On the way to the metroplex to find plants for our backyard project, the nursey we were originally going to all the sudden told us they were out of stock of some of the plants we were needing. I frantically called several large nurseries all over the metroplex, hoping that my wife's trip wouldn't be in vain. I was told "We're out of that. It's too early for that plant. We all get them from the same places, so no one will have them." I called Covington's and they said they had several that were on our list, so I directed her to drive to this location. Best decision ever.

While toting an infant, they took her around on a golf cart, radioed for help pulling out plants, and then promptly loaded NINETY plants into her SUV like a perfect puzzle. Multiple people helped her, and she couldn't stop telling how awesome everyone was. If someone was more an expert on Boxwoods, they brought them over. She texted me that she got everything on our list, and I thought it couldn't possibly be true.

Dylan did an excellent job. My yard is in pretty rough shape. He and his co-worker planted three yaupons right next to the sprinkler system pipes. Added plenty of soil and mulch. All looks great. I couldn’t be happier.

It’s that time again. Covingtons may not be the cheapest but they are the most knowledgeable and have the most helpful staff. I will take a sprig of whatever is invading my yard and they will tell me what it is and how to get rid of it. Plus, I could spend whole day looking at their tree, shrubs, perennials etc to get some ideas and inspiration.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Covington's has been our go-to nursery for 13 years. They have done the landscaping at both of our houses, provided both indoor and outdoor plants, trees, pots, fruit and vegetable plants, soil, mulch, and any and all necessary fertilizers and treatments. Our neighbors give compliments and always ask who does our landscaping. We love their tree and shrub guarantee when they plant (and they honor it), and they are nothing but helpful when I go there with my numerous questions, photos of issues, and need for advice. They also have wonderful and informative classes and activities for both adults and kids. We are so lucky to have this gem in our community.

. So we got plants from this nursery and spent $300 in their nursery.
But when we put all plants in our pots they all die in one day and I went their nursery for help to ask them about the situation, talked to that person named was Tommy he was the manager he refuse to help and being rude and he said I am so sorry I will not be able to help you or give you refund or can’t give you a store credit.
So if we gave so much water we do have drained under the pots all water got drained after we watered those plants. I showed them videos and pictures and they said Oo so the water got drained when you watered the plants so that’s good.
Tommy was so rude and he didn’t gave us any good customer service he helped us with nothing with this matter so we waste our money by buying their stuff.

I’ve been going to Covington’s for years. Burton and others are so helpful and knowledgeable. They’ve helped me save my diseased Crepe Myrtle, their selection is always vast and healthy and I’ve also bought modern flower pots from them. Highly recommend them!
