Complete pool remodel project. We are very happy how the pool turned out. Would absolutely choose Claffey again. Duffy was the designer and he is a true pleasure to work with. Sue was our contact in the office and her communication and organization was very professional. Shawn and Jasen were our project managers and we always felt in good hands. Jasen Kidd was a real difference maker. We connected and I continue to use him as a resource. He always makes me feel a part of the family and I really appreciate his expertise and approach. All in all a really good experience.

Update: We have been using Claffey Pools for our weekly pool service. It has been a good experience. John has been our Technician for some time now. His professionalism and communication have been excellent.

It is impossible to achieve a perfect pool build process. However, it is possible to achieve perfect customer service. This is where Claffey excelled.

Almost every pool builder subcontracts at least one component in the construction process (design, permitting, excavation, grading, plumbing, electrical, gas, shell, tile, masonry, flatwork, cabana/structure, punch list repairs, site clean up). Claffey uses excellent trades but even the trades make mistakes, miscommunication occurs between superintendent and trades, and even Claffey makes mistakes. There are numerous moving parts, logistics, and other pool projects that a pool builder is juggling. Mistakes, delays, and frustrations are unavoidable.

THE DIFFERENCE: Claffey will make it right without questioning or charging you. Something not right? Say something and they’ll get it resolved. Something promised but incomplete? It’ll get taken care of. Worried that your concerns won’t be heard? They really care about their product and image.

Erin (design), Jesse (project manager), and Jasen (pool school, finish out, majority of customer service) helped make our dream a reality. The shining star was Jasen. I could write paragraphs about how Jasen made the biggest difference in resolving our issues and representing the Claffey brand but you’ll have to experience his care yourself.

Our project took over a year from first phone call to Jasen’s boots leaving our property after the site cleaning. We didn’t get bids from any other builder because of Claffey’s reputation. I would consider us a higher maintenance customer with a slightly more complex project. There were several times throughout the process when we questioned whether we chose the right builder.

THE CLAFFEY DIFFERENCE: Claffey will make it right and in a timely manner. It’s that simple. However, as simple as that sounds, not every pool builder is created equal in this very important area. Claffey has the budget, staff, connections, and a reputation to maintain. We are thankful that we chose Claffey without looking elsewhere.

Justin Hennessy was prompt. We were having an unusual pump issue and he was able to troubleshoot and resolve issue. The problem was complex but he stayed with it until he was comfortable all was well.

Communicated very effectively in a timely manner he came on schedule and did a great job!! He was extremely polite. He let me know when he arrived. He let me know when he finished. I highly would recommend him and I hope he comes back to Location in the future !💙

I called Claffey because they built the pool and expected them to send someone who knew how it was built to find the leak and repair it. Instead, they subbed it out to people I had to manage, they did not call me with an estimate for the repair once the leak was found, and charged me double what the repair should've cost. This is third leak and repair I have had in a 6 year old pool built by Claffey. I would not recommend them to build or service your pool.

We have used Claffey Pools to clean our pool for quite some time. Our current service tech is Jacob Hunter as I must say, our pool is always left sparkling and very clean. I don’t have to follow up with extra cleaning, which saves me time. Thanks Jacob!

We recently had Claffey Pools remodel our pool. They did a phenomenal job start to finish! Excellent service started with Mike at the office where we picked out our finish stone and tile. Jason took over at the job site. Jason is the perfect job site coordinator, he listens patiently and makes certain the customer is happy.

Today, Justin Hennessy visited our Claffey pool and let me tell you- the doctor was in and practicing at the top of his specialty. Justin wasn’t here thirty seconds and he spied an issue that needed attention and he developed a plan that exceeded my expectations. We are needing a few things and he tweaked some pump speeds too! Justin gave sound advice and instructions which I appreciated!

After getting 5 estimates from our local pool builders, we decided to go with Claffey and we are so pleased with the experience! They really work with you from the design phase all the way through the finish to ensure that you’re completely satisfied. Our designer took everything into account to tie the pool in with our backyard. Once they started construction, Jeremiah our project manager made sure we were updated on each step and who would be out at the house doing what. Any questions we had he quickly found the answer to. Everyone who worked on the pool was professional. The quality of work was exceptional! After the pool was built Justin helped us with the final touches— he too was always available to help with questions and would always come over to check out any concern we had. We love our new pool and spa!

Claffey has been a pleasure to work with from design thru construction. They are responsive and built the pool, outdoor kitchen and cabana we envisioned. Philip was great as the designer and Jesse was wonderful in overseeing all aspects of the construction.

I had a warranty issue with a couple lights and Whit and Ryan came out in the rain to get it resolved.

The Claffey experience was by far the best experience we have ever had with ANY contractor across all businesses. Charlie Claffey leads a great organization and demands high quality work and wonderful customer service. Rob Leone and Jasen Kidd lead our project and I cannot say enough good things about both of them.

Our original pool wiring recently shorted out against the box and burnt the wiring. Although our pool and some plumbing had been update, all wiring was original and very old. When contacted Claffey Pools was able to send someone out within a couple days. The technician/electrician, Eric, was very knowledgeable and agreed that it would be best to replace all the wiring. Eric was able to complete the job and test all systems in a couple hours. Claffey Pools and their staff offer great, timely service at a very reasonable price. We were especially pleased with the price. We recommend them and will use them again as needed

We shopped around with numerous pool builders before finding Claffey and each one felt like we were simply being sold a service, but from the first meeting with Mike Calonne we felt like we’d reached out to an old friend to build our pool. Mike listened to our needs and wants and worked with the design team to make our dream a reality.

Jeremiah was our PM and I couldn’t have asked for a better one than him. We value great communication and he did not disappoint. He kept us in the loop every step of the way. Anytime contractors were coming out, any setbacks we may have faced, literally anything, he kept us informed.

This was our first pool build and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I feel like we’ve not only found a great company for future projects, but have also made friends through Mike & Jeremiah.

Claffey removed and replaced our existing pool with a 55,000 gallon infinity edge pool. A year and half later it’s completely still level and absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend them to anyone.

Shawn is always reliable and we know everything will be done correctly.

We chose Claffey because of their quality and reputation. Claffey built our pool some 20 years ago and updated and helped with some rock work and drainage issues some 10 years ago.

This remodel updated some electronics, reset rock copings, identified a spa leak and fixed it, replaced a timber retaining wall with rock that matched perfectly and we love the new spillway from spa to pool. Rock/mason crew was great and easy to work with – Gilberto and his crew were great.
