If there was a minus 1 I would put that we spent appx 17,000 with this company for a new septic system. They put it at the bottom of a hill (in the same spot the old one as),so it's constantly filling with rain water hit my roof with their tracfor, and I have constantly had issues in the first few months they either want to charge me to come fix or won't return my calls or answer I think the office number may be the man's cell phone such a loss. we trusted him. He helped my 75 year old mom open a charge account to pay for it and it's really been bad. For sure

I did not use them they used us to deliver dirt ect and to haul off spoils from a job site in Cleveland. They paid part of their bill after we went as far as threatening to file lean. Now I guess they think they do not have to pay the remainder not very professional in my eyes. So save you self some headache and avoid using Thomas Ratliff and his whole operation. They WILL screw someone else one day DONT LET IT BE YOU. Thomas don't even have the balls to answer his phone or his text BEWARE CROOKS. I give them no stars

My family and I contracted with T.E.R. Septic Site & Utilities to fix a clogged shower and because of the age of the home additional septic repairs were needed. Thomas Ratliff, owner of T.E.R. Septic Site & Utilities and his crew did an outstanding job for us-- from evaluation of the problems to completion, we were most impressed with his constant communication to us, his respectfulness of our time and the need for a quick solution to the problem-- and his know-how and professionalism from beginning to end -- we are completely satisfied and we will not only use T.E.R. again ourselves in the future but will recommend T.E.R. loudly and proudly to others!

Began a maintenance contract with TER for our 2 septic systems. TER has been very responsive and come out within 24 hours to rectify any problems related to our septic systems. TER personnel are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Definitely worth the maintenance fee.

It was great to have Thomas come out! He pumped the septic tank and helped clear the main drain line. He was extremely knowledgeable and discussed future problems that could arise, as well as solutions for those problems. Polite and friendly, he got the job done in a professional manner. Upfront with cost. No hidden fee’s. They were very attentive on the job and as well we’re very knowledgeable on the work they were doing. Went out of their way to fix everything and reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend them. I will be doing business with them in the future.

Had a really good experience with this company. Blake was very professional, answered all of my questions, and kept me up to date with everything going on. I work nights so he was more than willing to work with my schedule. I highly recommend asking for him when it comes to all of your septic needs, he really does AMAZING work! Travis was quick to respond to address septic issues. Got a quote the same day and turn around time on repairs was fast considering it was the week of Christmas. Repairs were needed and they got it done. Everything was replaced/repaired as quoted. All is now in great working order and they also have a monthly Hybrid Policy that will keep us up and running smoothly for years to come. I would highly recommend this company for your aerobic septic needs. Travis, Thomas, Blake and Yvonne are very friendly and great to work with.

We recently had an issue arise with one of our drain lines, and they came out the next day, figured out the issue, and explained to me exactly what happened/why and fixed it.

Our office septic tank was full, Called late in the day and they were able to come out first thing the next day.

Have used TER Septic for many years and refer them to all of my clients and builders. They do great Septic, Aerobic, concrete, and utility work!! Thankfully, they offer monthly maintenance as well and this is what sets them apart! They also service grease traps for my restaurant owners!!

I am beyond being blessed in being guided to first financial assistance that is available for seniors 62+ that are in need of emergency or urgent repairs on their septic system. It is offered by a USDA grant. I worked with a great staff member, Samantha Murphy. She did an amazing job in getting all the paperwork l needed to get to her, then processed my case fairly quickly.
The second blessing came with a little work in getting multiple estimates on what was needed to get my system up and running correctly. Now l will be honest my system was not only considered old being 20+ years old, but also in great need of repairs, mostly due to my not being aware or taught more about what was all needed to maintain the system. Also l made bad decisions in that l listened to people who claimed to know what to do, but did not.

While having 3 different companies come out for estimates, is when l met Travis with T.E.R. Septic Site and Utilities Company. All l can say is that Travis is very patient and through in explaining each part of the system that was either not working, or failing, or aged to where it needed to be replaced. He also explained how fire ants had damaged most of the electronics portion of the system, plus they had a nest in one of my tanks too. Travis stood out from the other companies without a doubt.

After working with my representative with the USDA in about 5 months my grant was approved. Once the grant was approved, l connected Samantha Murphy and Travis to get the final documents done and in Samantha's hands. After that within less than a week Travis called to set up the dates for the work to be done. They completed the entire job in two days. As of yesterday July 16, 2025, my septic system is upgraded electric components, tanks, drain lines and sprayers, and l might have missed some other parts of the system, but it done. My septic system is completely repaired and rebuilt, running correctly now.

Travis, Kyle/foreman, Edgar Sr., Edgar Jr., and two other crew men stayed in communication with me all along the way. They did the work professionally, quick and efficiently, also did a great clean up of the entire work site, including any trash they created. One other staff member, Leslie, from their office also did amazing in communication, and always kept me informed.

I would highly recommend this company and crew to anyone with any level of work needed on your septic system.
