I thank this company for sending their tech Luke to figure out what was wrong with the washing machine. He was very nice and polite. He did his job efficient and let me know what I need to do going forward to avoid this problem again. If you need service from this company, I highly recommend asking if Luke is available for the job.

I tried Famous Appliance on a whim, had never used and allowance repair before and it's been a good experience.
Luke was great! He was professional and polite, identified the problem and explained the next steps and costs clearly. Looking forward to the parts coming in and the issue being fixed.

I noticed that my freezer was not working early in the morning and I called Famous Appliance Service around 7:30 a.m. someone answered and got me scheduled to have Jason Come out that same day! Jason was on time and friendly and got my freezer working within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend Famous Appliance Service.

Luke did a great job diagnosing and repairing a faulty control board in our duel ovens. His diagnosis was thorough, logical, and well explained. He got a replacement board and installed it the next day. Very nice work.

Luke was so helpful in helping us get our washer going again. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He knew what the problem was right away.

Luke did a thorough job checking out all three of my appliances that were having problems. It was nice that he was able to work on whirlpool as well as Frigidaire, So I didn’t have to have two different companies in my home. They gave me a 15 minute phone call before the technician arrived, which was also helpful.

Jason came out to look at my washer and dryer on the same day I called. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and friendly. I am very happy with this service call.

They came quickly, diagnosed the problem correctly, repaired the appliance as expected but charged us $96 for an $8 part and a total of $316 for the repair call. Price gouging at it's best here folks.

UPDATE: 1 year later, the part they gouged me on completely failed. It broke into more pieces than I can count. Not only did they over charge me for the part and the labor, their work lasted barely a year. If you need appliance repair, you might be better served looking elsewhere.

Luke was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He repaired our washer and explained his work. He even left the space cleaner than it was when he arrived. DEFINITELY quality work and someone I’d call again.

Famous is great! Unfortunately, the part needed for my fix is NLA, but the tech went above and beyond to try to figure another way around the issue. He did so much, I bet he would have got my KD up to 4 if I asked.

Luke with Famous Appliance Service came and did a great job. He was on time, and was thorough in his work. He was able to fix the fan for our fridge in a timely manner, and was very respectful. Definitely recommend.

I called Famous Appliance Service for a dryer that was not working properly after I had priced new dryers. Ugh, since my house was built in 1919 the stairwell to the basement is very narrow and appliances cannot be more than 25” wide/depth, which are extremely hard to find if at all.
I got an appointment for the next day. Jason came to my home and I explained that the dryer was not staying on. He took a look and told me the parts that were needed and would call me the next morning with pricing.
Jason called me promptly the next morning, explained the pricing and informed me that one of the parts needed to be ordered and it would be approximately 3-5 business days to receive the part. Once the part was in he would schedule an appointment to have both parts installed.
Jason was so kind and knowledgeable, he took the time to listen to my concerns and reassured me the dryer was worth repairing. Awesome service!!!

They came and fixed everything within 24 hours. The service technician Luke was super nice and gave us lots of good maintenance tips even outside of the service. He was quick as well and had everything done in less than an hour and answered all our questions. Super nice and we will be using them again!

Luke was efficient, with a quick diagnosis and thorough repair — the loud squeaking is gone, and all is well. He was also pleasant and I was very comfortable having him in my home repairing my dryer. I’d recommend him anytime.

Jason did a great job for us today. He was in and out in an hour, and fixed our oven and dishwasher in that time. He explained everything to our understanding and satisfaction, and even gave us tips on how to keep our fridge and washing machine running better/ longer.
