Outstanding service! Courteous and friendly technicians! The team (Cheryl, Gabe, and Steve) assigned to my cleanup were the best. They kepy me informed throughout the process and ensured that I had all my questions answered. We even had a few laughs and other friendly conversations about the follow-up repairs. Would definitely call them again whenever i have another issues.

I had a wonderful experience with Frencho for the finishing up of my home repairs. He came to do a quick paint touch up and went above and beyond just to be helpful. Extremely polite and personable, the 5 star rating is due to him!

Techs were courteous and informative when they did my water mitigation from my toilet. One of the techs left the toilet on my rug. Asked if the water was drained and he said it’s empty. Trusted his judgement and water mitigation was done. A week later we noticed a foul smell coming from that carpet. It came from the toilet and stained my rug. Called service master and they took my rug to be cleaned free of charge. The water mitigation manager John made a snarky comment saying “toilet water is clean water anyway” when it’s been sitting there over a week. Another problem I had was they didn’t inform me that they were backed up 3 months and couldn’t do the repairs after tearing up my flooring when they originally did the repair estimate. I had to go back and forth with my insurance and them until finally getting a straight answer a week later. I am left with hiring another contractor to do the repairs. If you decide to use this company, make sure you get a repair estimate date after the mitigation otherwise your left with a tore up house.

We were very pleased with ServiceMaster's services to us recently. They did a great job of water and moisture removal, and made sure all areas were completely dry. They also did a pack-out for us, and again they were competent and capable. Everyone in their crew was pleasant, friendly, hardworking, efficient, and helpful.

Servicemaster did a great job with structure cleaning at my home after an electrical fire. Deanna’s team: Keesha, Sisi, Ashley, Matilda and Ivania worked diligently, kept me informed, were on time and they were all very professional, considerate and kind. Thank you ladies!!

We had furniture and items packed before demo the demolition started on our house. The packing team, (Kim, Leslie, Errum and Andrew), were so helpful and nice. During such a stressful time in our lives they were such a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much.

I also wanted to thank the demo team; Gabe, Steve and Dominic. Great guys and hard workers, specially Gabe went the extra mile to make sure things were completed. Thank you!

Contracted this company after a fire i had in my home. I don’t usually offer comments about my experiences with these types of services, but
I am making an exception today because of the way there young ladies who were assigned to my home to help me move thru the fire journey. From the moment I met them I felt good bout allowing them to handle this project. They treated my home as if it was their home. I want to personally thank Ashley, Kim and Kesha for taking such good care of me and for taking time to get to know me.

Thank you ServiceMaster of the Southside for a job well done!

Servicemaster of the Southside, Chesapeake, VA did an outstanding job with remediation and remodeling of my home following water damage and mold issues. I can't say enough about the whole team in addressing the scope of work needed to restore my home. My hat is off to Mike, Dave, Nick, David Kucenski as well as to Jeanette, Helene and Dreama for their professionalism and honesty in keeping me well informed of the progression of the project and recommended adjustments to the scope of work to add more beauty and value to my home. Everyone was always available to speak with me about any questions or concerns I had about the project. The work was completed in a timely manner and I was thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. My home now looks like a completely new property. It now has that "WOW" affect when you walk in. Many thanks to Servicemaster of the Southside for all that you did. You're the best. I would definitely recommend you in a heartbeat.

ServiceMaster was in charge of fixing our house from top to bottom, down to the studs, after a major flood in the basement. It was a stressful time for us and despite some turnover through the process of getting our house rebuilt, we always had a professional point person texting, emailing and calling every step of the way letting us know what comes next. We weren't living in the house at the time which made it doubly hard to know exactly what was going on but the responsive communication by far was ServiceMaster's best quality- even going out to our house on the weekend, early mornings, evenings, etc. to get the work done or get something checked out for me. Kim, the owner, was incredible at solving any problem that arose, always patient and kind. Helene, the office manager, was always responsive to my phone calls and emails and a pleasure to speak to. Janette, another office manager, was always helpful in getting documents out to us right away, calling weekly to follow up and ensure we were happy with the process and the work being done. Dan, our main contractor, was our primary contact throughout the rebuilding was never stressed, always super friendly, always available for a phone call or to go out to the house, sent tons of pictures and video of progress made, etc.
I would say my only negative is I wish I had been given a more realistic date of completion from the beginning. I know there are probably a 100s of things that can't be foreseen and that can slow the process, but it would have been more helpful- even if things were taking longer than expected- to be told 'this is taking longer than we thought, we anticipate an end date of xyz' instead of being given dates that weren't even close. I would have preferred something more realistic instead of getting my hopes up early.
All in all, the team at ServiceMaster were reliable, professional, and of high integrity. We appreciate all the hours of effort they put in to fix our home.

Not happy. BIG Lesson learned to be present when anyone is doing any work. Came back from Fl to see the work in person. Also will
never use what the insurance company give
me. hopefully nothing happens again but if so I will do major research and use different contractors.

I had a pipe burst in the upstairs wall and water flowed into the downstairs ceiling and floor. My insurance company dispatched ServiceMaster and they were on scene almost immediately. Leslie & her team were AMAZING! She knows her job, she loves her job and she has a contagious upbeat personality. Her energy almost makes you forget you are going through a minor disaster.
The staff is professional and friendly and keeps you abreast of every move. Thank you Dreama & others for outstanding customer service! Y'all rock!! I am permanently saving your contact information & highly recommend your company to all!

From start to finish the crew at ServiceMaster of Southside took great care of us. We had a flooded kitchen and by the time they were done you could not even tell. They communicated with us every step of the process and were extremely professional at every visit. This company is who you need to call for any issues concerning, water, moisture or mold. They will take care of you and make sure to take the stress and mess off your shoulders!

Responsive, positive, professional, punctual. I contacted my insurance company, USAA, after my bathroom overflowed from upstairs to my first floor and within a few hours, Leslie and Thomas from ServiceMaster of the southside arrived at my house. I was horrified and anxious to say the least. They were both professional, proficient, and reliable, and knowledgeable. They were helpful and kept me informed reducing my anxiety. Leslie walked me through every step of the process as she took, pictures and videos, wrote up her assessment and assisted in demolition. Thomas also awesome, performed demolition, talked me through that process and positioned blowers where needed. The two complimented each other and worked very well together. Thomas ensured cleanup was professional. I would be remised if I didn't thank Steven who came by, day after day, to check the equipment, assess the drying process and answer questions and remove equipment at the end. Dreama, from office, called me to ensure I was happy with the service provided and to check if I was kept informed of what was happening. Thank you Dreama for the great customer service. I would 100% recommend ServiceMaster to handle your home mitigation needs. Request Leslie, Thomas and Steven as your team, they are awesome. I will recommend they be added to USAA restoration list. Kudos to all.

I had a water heater upstairs burst and flood almost my entire downstairs. I had called ServiceMaster and they had a team out within a couple hours and started pulling flooring right away. They were very thorough with making sure every area was dry before pulling equipment. They were early to every appointment they had set, and if an opening came up before an appointment they called to try and get there sooner. Very personable staff.

First off, my house was totally trashed by a plumbing problem. Total disaster. We called Service Master at 3am... they fit us into their crazy schedule on a Saturday, and arrived at my house in less than 10 hours from that call. That day cleanup was handled and they installed fans throughout the house. They were kind to my animals, and my family. I received several phone calls a day from them ensuring everything was up to my standard. I was totally blown away by their service and I would use them again should anything go wrong with my home. Highly recommended from me.

I needed a complete pack-out of my downstairs so that I could get my hardwood floors sanded and refinished due to water damage. The ServiceMaster team did an exceptional job with packing up our furniture and belongings, storing them safely and returning them right on time. I really enjoyed the entire team and they were so professional. Thank you for your help!!

Outstanding performance from all involved in removing all water damages in our home. Employees returned every day as stated, exactly on time. Thorough examination of all water damaged areas done every day. Equipment needed for drying of floors, ceilings & closets over 3 days were very well maintained & very clean.
Staff explained everything & answered all my, sometimes panicked, questions every day!
Service Master is & always will be, our only business to handle situations in our homes.
Facial Masks were always worn & they maintained Social Distancing. I am a R.N. and this showed Service Master’s excellent training during this pandemic towards their employees & customers!
We highly recommend Service Master for water and/or fire damaged homes.

My husband and I came home at 3pm on 12/1 to it raining inside our kitchen. A pet had turned on the water and overflowed the tub over the kitchen & living room. We were shocked, in complete disbelief and honestly we didn't know what to do other than start cleaning up water. I got off the phone with USAA at 4pm, was contacted by ServiceMaster at 4:45pm. They had a team at our house before 6pm. Upon arrival we showed them what happened, they explained their process and got right to work. They had the majority of demolition complete and dehumidifiers running by 10pm.

ServiceMaster of the Southside not only had a prompt response, they were kind, professional and took the time to help us process the fact that we were about to see our house torn apart. Everyone we communicated with from Lauren in the office, the guys here daily and Drema who called us asking for feedback, were professional, kind and sensitive to the situation we were going through. (Everyone also had an amazing sense of humor and they were all more than happy to laugh and joke with us, once we were ready to do so.)

The team did an amazing job of getting our home dried out, but beyond that, they took care of us as people. They were sensitive to the fact we were dealing with damage to our home, were still in shock and were holding together by just a thread. Seeing someone come in like a tornado and rip apart your home can be traumatic, but these guys seemed to truly care about what they were doing. They protected our personal belongings and tried to minimize the resulting mess. The team at Service Master was extremely thorough. They continued demolition until they were sure our home would be able to dry out to the appropriate levels. They answered tons of questions (most were probably irrelevant), laughed with us, loved on our dogs, communicated everything they were doing and even gave us some awesome advice for working with the insurance company. They truly went above and beyond anything we could have expected, and made what started as a tragedy feel manageable.

    For ServiceMaster of the Southside:

These guys deserve some kudos or something! I'm just sorry I don't remember everyone's names, but I do have names and dates from the texts so please make sure everyone involved knows how much we appreciate them!

12/1 - Gabriel & the second on call person. Thank you both for calming us down and knowing exactly how to proceed when we were honestly lost. Thank you for laughing with us, accepting our silly coping mechanisms and answering 9 million questions that were probably beyond the scope of your job. That night you guys were truly a ray of sunshine when we didn't know how to cope.

12/2 - Gabriel, the second gentlemen from the night before, a new guy who was shadowing & the guy who came in to remove the countertop and cabinets.

12/3 - Charles did monitoring and immediately contacted his office to have a team come out for additional demo. (Sorry for talking to you the whole time you were there as though you were Gabriel, and thank you for getting everything to your office so quickly.) The team that came out was Matt & Steven I think.

12/4 - Charles did monitoring - sorry for making you wait!

12/6 - Steven ( different one than 12/3) came to do final monitoring and remove equipment. Thanks for joking around with us even more, laughing and getting everything squared away with all of the paperwork!!

Lauren communicated with us daily to make sure we knew when they were sending teams out. She was always extremely responsive and entertained my sarcastic responses over text. (Thank you for that Lauren)

I had such a great experience from the time I called to schedule an appointment until they finished the job. Lauren was so helpful with explaining the water damage cleanup process and Leslie was so friendly and awesome to work with. She was on time and professional and great at her job. I would highly recommend using them for any of your needs and I will certainly use them if I need anything in the future
