Sequim Valley Electric

Highly recommend Sequim Valley Electric and will call on them for any future electrical work needed in our home. We needed an expansion of our electric panel and an additional 240V/40A outlet installed. From start to finish, Andrea, Chandra, Martin and Josh provided excellent communication, scheduling, expertise and quality work done efficiently at a reasonable price.

Our PUD told us they would shut off our power if we didn't relocate our meter within 30 days. Talk about responsive! When I explained our situation to Sequim Valley Electric, they came out to our home, assessed the problem, came up with a plan, and gave us a fair an affordable bid. All that happened within 24 hours! We found their bid to be fair and affordable. We are fans of Sequim Valley Electric!!!

I first reached out to this electrician thru Angi's. The date and time they gave me was a Sunday. As I thought, Sequim Valley Electric doesn't book on Sundays. I told them what needed fixed and upgraded. The gal said she would have the owner or his worker come over and give me an estimate. Day came and it was Marty, the owner. I was showing him the fixtures, outlets, etc that needed repair plus a couple other things. Before I knew it I was flipping switches at the panel as he yelled what to do. Then he wanted to look at an outlet behind a large teak cabinet my dad had shipped home while he was in Vietnam. Marty grabbed ahold of one end and began scooting it. A crystal vase on too smashed to the floor. He said he needed an outlet and asked if I has a new one. I found one and he switched it for the old one. Then he needed to look at one outside. I had just sold my moms house and had all her belongings here. The outlet was behind a bunch of stuff and he seemed upset. I explained and moved everything out of the way. Then he came back in the house and pulled my sectional away from the wall to the middle of the room. He suddenly began to yell that no one would work under these conditions. He abruptly said he'd send me his bill and left. When I spoke to his office gal, I was told he was stressed out lately and over worked. She also said she would send me the bill and advised that I should hire a handyman. I was expecting an estimate so I could decide whether I could afford all the repairs. I didn't expect to be his helper, or for him to do any work at all. I had not hired him. I merely wanted an estimate. I've never hired an electrician before. I also didn't expect him or anyone else to start moving my furniture, handling a family vintage cabinet as though it came from IKEA, thus breaking something. Finally insulting the cramped condition of my home, adding that he'd send me a bill. His office gal tells me she has sent me the bill electronically. I've not seen a bill, nor do I feel I should pay a dime for how he handled himself. Office gal now says s
I am incurring late charges and will be sent to collections...my choice. When I mentioned that when the needed work (2 rooms with electricity and more) was completed as they promised, I'll pay the bill. She says she has labeled my file DO NOT SERVICE THIS ADDRESS. I'm appalled and have a label for this business: DO NOT USE THIS ELECTRICIAN.
