Comfort fixed a water chiller in my lab, replacing a seized pump, in a pinch. They communicated well, showed up when they said they would, and got the job done efficiently.

Terribly bad crazy driver, made illegal lane change to make illegal turn from a straight only lane. Almost hit my car and the pedestrian.

It was mentioned in other reviews here too so that reflects how this business operates: Constantly cutting corner with no respect and regard of laws and regulations as long as it was not caught with consequences.

Called for service of our heat pump. Tech said we needed a fuse and should replace the circuit board and thermostat. Later said we needed a new unit because of its age. They offered an outrageous bid for the thermostat ($1900). Sent a bill for more than $600 for the fuse. The unit worked one day! Another provider said there was a short in the wire and has it working fine for $400.

Comfort designed, installed and did maintenance on our retail commercial space. They completely over designed our system and as an Architect I essentially redesigned it. Because they did the install I stayed with them for 3.5 years to do the maintenance and here is my experience. 1. I do not recommend hiring Comfort to do any design, design/build work. 2. Their service was very poor and this was confirmed by the new companies that I now have doing my annual mechanical and plumbing who revealed all the aspects of annual service that Comfort was neglecting to do.
Comfort may be good for very large projects but I would not recommend them for small or medium size projects.
