As. I went thru the solar panel install process . I was amazed at how well the project was managed . From system design to the professional engineering plans thru the bldg. and electrical permitting . We had stage 1&2 electrical installation to the interconnection with WE energy's until finally we had system commissioning and permission to operate . Like I said the project was managed professionally ,I was always kept informed and it is performing as it was explained to me . So it's a big hats off to the people at SOLENERGY .JOB WELL DONE Thanx Gary

First of all we are pleased with the performance of Jake and Solenergy. The performance of the panels have been great ever since the utility finally decided to connect. My reason for trying solar is not because I'm an environmentalist, I am not. It was a sound investment. My history involved energy home construction and sales of energy products used properly. Utility energy advisors were tightening homes and causing condensation, mold and rot in homes not designed for little air change. Adding solar to our home is merely an extension of the energy demonstration homes we built [mostly electric] to show the practically of constructing energy efficient homes that make solar practical.
Thank you Solenergy. -
Went above and beyond to help us get our “Moxie” panels back to where they should have been from the start!! Mac and Jake are phenomenal and t these guys will definitely be our go to for all of our future solar needs!! I appreciate everything you did for us and in a very timely fashion as well!!
Thanks again

This company is great to work with. Very compromising and great follow up. The employees that were with them in the beginning that did not do their job to the fullest are no longer with them. Who is left is a great budding company that wants to do right by their customers and staff. Give them a chance and go Solar!!!

Great exp. from start to finish. My Rep was Dustin Hill, he kept me updated throughout the entire process, it took WE Energy a lot longer to connect the system BUT my utility bill is now negative each month. Great install team, fast and professional.

We have been customers for a couple of years now and their service remains excellent. Jake and the company are completely focused on customer happiness.

Solenergy’s approach to my new residential solar system project was outstanding. As a retired civil engineer, I’ve worked with many designers and contractors and Solenergy is among the most professional of them. Their initial discussions on planning and design got the project off to a great start, and they kept me well informed throughout on how the project was progressing.
I also appreciated Solenergy’s positive working relationship with City of Fitchburg building inspectors and MG&E – a relationship that helped to complete the system on time, as promised.

From our first meeting Jake was thoughtful, helpful, respectful and treated me exactly how I treat my customers. As a DIY guy, I knew what I wanted and Jake was willing and able to work with that. He provided me with the equipment I needed promptly and gave me suggestions and assistance in the areas that I wasn't sure about. With his expert guidance, I got the system I wanted and had a great time doing it. I recommend Jake and Solenergy Solar to anyone who wants a great partner. A+!

When I ordered solar panels to be installed on my roof in 2023, I went along with Solenergy's promise to install a new roof, which they said I'd get a tax rebate on even as I got a tax rebate on the panels. Absolutely not the truth. The roofer was one Dustin claimed his company had bought. No, it was an independent roofer who skipped town after doing a horrifically bad job on my roof and gutters. It took from spring to November to rectify the situation because of the runaround Dustin at Solenergy gave me. I finally found another roofer on my own and got out of my contract with Solenergy. Then, someone else from Solenergy started calling me around Christmas, every couple of days, to pressure me to sign on to solar panels again.
I kept meticulous notes of conversations with Dustin and saw a pattern of false promises and excuses. It was a deeply upsetting experience, and I'm posting this because I truly believe Dustin and whoever works at Solenergy needs to look inward and accept their behavior. When you have to explain to someone what "standing me up" means and they make excuses...when they tell you "Sorry I didn't call like I said I would. I've been putting out fires" when YOUR project is the "fire" they need to deal with...
Reflection on professionalism and honesty are in order. -
They got in touch with my landlord shortly after she bought and moved into our place . They had her get copies of my bills , a picture of my breaker box and told her they would get her these lovely solar panels that are more of a problem then a benefit and Dustin is horrible to deal with . I have tried communicating with him , she has tried communicating with him , I have sat down there when she has tried and he never gets back to no one . Poor quality at customer service that is for sure and to have your work cells voicemail full and not be able to leave messages for days that is ridiculous. Our solar panels went up in February. The first bill she received without an electric bill was April . I still had one , may I still had one we continued to contact Dustin . My elderly landlord finally said I will call the electric company the electric company has now informed her that we may need to rewire our entire house to get me connected to the solar panels. I think Dustin is fraudulent when from the beginning he knew she had me as a tenant he never communicated with us and as many times as he asked for my bill he knew I was getting charged still.but yet this company used my info to get an elderly lady into a contract with solar panels . So it now December almost a year into these panels and this company and Dustin still don't care . But it looks like dustin has communication problems not just with us according to reviews .
I would recommend if you are looking at solar panels not to go with this company at all. -
The team knows their stuff, are polite, professional, and are great problem solvers. We are finally solar (now that we left the state of Misery). It actually is easy being green.

I've worked with Solenergy on numerous projects, and I'm always impressed with the honesty, and straightforward messaging I get with Jake and the team at Solenergy. These guys handle tough situations like no one else I've seen, and any issues were addressed promptly.

Beware of SolEnergy – Deceptive Practices and Fraud
I had a terrible experience with SolEnergy. Their sales rep, using SolEnergy branding, promised my solar system would eliminate my power bill, have a 25-year guarantee, and qualify for tax credits. They arranged financing and took full payment a full year before the system was even operational, and when issues arose—such as poor installation and delays—they ignored my concerns. They falsely claimed to be BBB accredited, but they are not. Look it up!
They now deny responsibility for their sales rep, despite him using their name and materials. After connecting with others, I’ve found this is a pattern. Do NOT trust this company. If you’ve had a similar experience, report them. -
SolEnergy recently installed solar panels on my new construction project. Although my builder handled the system selection and permitting details, Jake and his team kept me in the loop, and they were friendly and communicative at every step of the way. Installation went smoothly, and the system is now operating as designed. I look forward to seeing the energy savings in my future electrical bills.
