Matt and Penguin Pools have been absolutely outstanding. When we first started looking to put in a pool, we were warned to be very careful of which company we chose, as there were some bad companies with people who had some really bad expiriences out there. From day one, after meeting with Matt, we knew we had the right guy/s for our expirience. Matt took the time to explain everything very clearly and honestly. He made sure everything was exactly what we wanted, and stayed within budget. Dave and his crew were absolutely outstanding as well. I have recommended Penguin Pools to everyone and anyone. Penguin built my pool in 2012 and has taken care of it for me ever since - keeping the chemicals balanced, maintaining and fixing equipment, closing in the winter and opening in the spring. They have always done an excellent job and I would highly recommend their service.

Matt R was extremely helpful. Despite being very busy he still took the time to assess if my pool was a candidate for a retro-fit autocover. Unfortunately, my pool is not a good candidate, but Matt proved that he is not just looking to sell services. He truly wants what is best for the customer.

Matt was great. He was exactly on time for all of our appointments to discuss putting in our pool. He stayed until all of our questions were answered even though it was evening time. They did an excellent job on our pool. We love it and are very happy with the services they provide.

The folks I worked with at Penguin Pools, specifically Matt, were nothing short of great. I am a pool owner and came to Matt with a problem and over the winter we exchanged several emails. He provided guidance, suggestions and ultimately sent a service person over to assist us - all without quoting service trip fees or anything else. Crazy, right?

It's rare to find a company that genuinely wants to help people, and that's who they are. Given that I am not an existing customer, nor did they install my pool, and yet they still provided that level of service speaks volumes. No doubt that I will give them my business any chance I can.

Penguin is responsive and reasonably priced. The staff is professional and they’ve been helpful and patient in teaching us how to care for our pool. They’re also mosquito spraying for us this year which we’re excited to use as our outside can be very buggy in summer. We’d recommend them to anyone interested in building or maintaining a pool and the landscaping around it!

In many cases the thrill and excitement of a pool project can can be quickly or eventually squelched by hassles and disappointment. That was definitely NOT the case with Penguin Pools. We could not be more pleased with the process and the result. Everyone at Penguin Pools was pleasant and professional.

Matt took care of me when I needed work done in a hurry. i sold my house with an in ground pool and a week before the closing one of the return pipes sprung a leak. Matt came out to my house personally to oversee the repair and save my home sale. He did such a good job that the new owner has hired Penguin Pools to open his pool this year.

If you want Amazing customer service, you need to contact Matt at Penguin Pools. We are attempting a DIY inground vinyl liner pool. I reached out to him even though we are well out of his service area. I had researched for hours and still had unanswered questions. I email Mat at Penguin pools at about 11pm on a Monday night. Being out of his service area and not a paying customer, I honestly did not expect to hear back from him. The very next morning at 7am sharp, I received a reply from Matt. He answered every question I had and literally sent pictures showing the process!! You do not get customer service like this these days. I had emailed at least half a dozen other pool companies (which I will not name) some local and some not. Matt was the only one that took the time to even reply. You can bet that any and all of my future pool supplies and accessories will come from Penguin. Thank you Matt!!

We have had Matt (Penguin Pools) take care of our pool for the past 7 years. We found him and the company to be very reliable and honest in their dealings with us. We purchased our home in 2010 and the in-ground pool was severely damaged, a disaster! Penguin pools did the repairs and made the pool look like new. The initial cleanup and removal of the destroyed liner and stagnant water was a big job. We are glad we didn't have to do it ourselves. When they installed the new liner, pump and LED light they also recommended and installed the salt generator. WOW! What a smart decision and a great job done! Penguin Pool now closes my pool every year in the fall. It's nice knowing it's done right. They have our business for life. This is our first in-ground pool and we couldn't be happier!

My wife and I did an extensive review before choosing our in-ground pool installer, and we are EXTREMELY happy with the decision to use Matt & Penguin Pools. Both my wife and I immediately knew we chose the right pool installer after our first meeting with Matt. We installed our pool three years ago, and the initial install, as well as seasonal openings/closings for the past three years have been trouble-free and timely. Matt has remained extremely honest with us and responds to us immediately with any maintenance questions we may have. I live in the southeast and consulted with Matt merely on design concept after reviewing his posting on installing inground pools in high water tables. Matt was extremely responsive to my questions and even followed up to ask how our project was going. Matt's recommendations were directly consistent with my pool company's recommendations. Having such a large investment I just wanted a second opinion to ensure we were going in the right direction. Thanks to Matt for offering his advise even considering I was not a paying customer. It's hard to find this type of service now days!

Writing this review a year and a half after the installation of an in-ground pool, and into the second season of service with Penguin Pools. Overall, it's been a great experience working with Matt and the rest of the crew during initial planning and through the decision-making process and problem resolution on-the-fly during construction. Service and maintenance related interactions afterwards were managed exceptionally well too. Very professional, courteous, and honest owner and company. Highly recommended!

Matt and his crew did a fantastic job installing our pool. They were extremely helpful in the design area explaining all of the different options available. The most impressive thing with Penguin Pools and Matt is that customer service doesn't end the day they fill the pool. Years later, I'm still able to call Matt with any questions I have and he'll respond within 24 hours. Stop looking and give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

I couldn't be happier with my pool. Matt did a wonderful job from start to finish, from the design and layout (and explanation of all of our available options) to installation, to now on-going maintenance. Matt and the TEAM at Penguin Pools have been a pleasure to work with and wonderful with answering questions and providing support after the work is done. In 2013 they replaced our liner and installed a new heater, everything was perfect and they truly made this project a pleasant experience. This year they replaced our chlorinator with a salt chlorine system. They provided all of the start-up products and guidance on how to use the system. I Highly recommend Penguin Pools for any projects and only wish I could have worked with them when my pool was first installed 20 years ago!

I highly recommend Matt and Penguin Pools. I had been in contact with Matt for a few YEARS while making my decision to install a pool and he answered DOZENS of emails and phone calls from me with questions! He was extremely patient, answered everything in a timely fashion, allowed us to make all of the decisions while he just made suggestions with no pressure.
