Contracted Clayco Electric / Clayco Solar in April 2025 for a significant solar installation at my Oro Valley home. Paid in full by August 2025. The system has never fully operated correctly.

Over 7 months later, a portion of the contracted system remains non-functional due to installation. Customer service has been nonexistent — no proactive follow-up after installation, repeated broken commitments, and emails left unanswered for days at a time. Every contact to get this resolved has been initiated by me.

When I escalated directly to the owner (Clay Mauldin), he provided explanations that were directly contradicted by the equipment manufacturer. His written response to my concerns: "We will wait for the ROC to chime in." A formal complaint has since been filed with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.

I deeply regret selecting Clayco for this project.
