We are very pleased with both the product and the service we received from Clayco. The install was done as promised. It was by far the best price we found.

Our solar project was on time and within budget. The team worked quickly and with professionalism. One of the best things was the communication on what was going on during the project - regular updates and transparent.

Clayco Electric Team (CET) installed our solar panels and system in August 2021 as planned and scheduled within 2 months of the time as soon as the contract was executed. CET stayed on the schedule that they planned with us from planning to completion: installation, mobilization, inspection and commissioning.
AET installation crew was very diligent in keeping the work area safe for others and returning the area cleaned before leaving our home. we appreciated that.
We recently contacted CET for assistance with the system operation in 2023. CET is responsive and very helpful in providing technical support and customer services. very knowledgeable and helpful.
CET has consistently provided good quality, professional and responsive services in a timely manner. -
So far we are very happy with the installation of our solar panels. They've not turned them on to the grid yet but we'll do so soon. The panels are very sharp looking and the men who put the panels were very articulate in their work. The salesperson we had was very good and knowledgeable of their product. I look forward to seeing how the panels will save us money in the near future. I'll update as we continue to go online with our solar panels.

Clayco was very receptive to our family needs and energy usage. Tailored a solar package for our home that was inclusive of our budget, location and esthetics. Quick scheduling, prompt installation with quality and professionalism. Thank you Clayco!

As a new customer to solar Clayco did an excellent job of explaining how the system works, what to expect and when it would be installed. They set the bar very high and their follow up and coordination of the progress gave me peace of mind. The job was finished to our expectations. Several months later we are enjoying our lower power bills.

After experiencing a hard time trying to find a solar company to talk to about servicing my system. Clayco was a breath of fresh air when they responded. They were extremely helpful and informative. I really did appreciate them taking the time to answer my questions and point me in the right direction to help resolve my issues.

Easy to work with. Stayed on schedule which was important. Explained technical aspects well. Nice people, communicated well.

I went through a solar broker, who recommended Clayco for the install. In addition to the solar panels, I also needed a main panel upgrade. This was a big plus they could do everything with their team and not sub it out like other solar installers might do.
It took less than a day to install 16 panels and get the preliminary wiring in place. The power company took several weeks to get everything in place and approved. After that, Clay's team came back to complete the install and wire up the new main panel. Andrew, Colton, and Dan were all great and I really appreciated the attention to detail when wiring and installing everything. I'll use Clayco again when I add more panels in the future. -
From start to finish, I had access to multiple members of the solar team to check off the puzzle pieces needed for the project. I was very excited to turn on 20 400 watt panels today and look forward to enjoying the benefits of solar in Arizona. I am grateful they will be a resource post installation if needed as someone that is very new to solar. I am very happy with everyone at Clayco Electric and quite grateful our paths crossed. I needed to be walked through that process from start to finish and a huge thanks to all involved!

I got several quotes for solar panels on my very small house. Clayco Solar was the best quote - Clay was great about answering questions via email. I chose to get the roof redone, since the solar has a 30 year warranty and I wanted my roof to last as well. Clay was patient and worked out the contract, plans and permits, and utility approvals so he was ready when the roof was completed. All the solar and electrical work is done in-house, no sub-contracting. He was excellent about sharing plans and documentation which I deeply appreciate.
We started paperwork in July 2023, I got roof completed Oct 21st, and the solar panel system was installed by Dustin & Sean in one day Oct 23rd. TEP Solar Renewables (permission to operate) was active Nov 15, and my electric bills started dropping! Last summer 2023 my electric bills were well over $100, up to ~$160 with A/C going. Since then bills have ranged from $40 to zero!! Got to love it!
I opted not to get a battery - too expensive at the moment. If I ever get an electric car, then I would look into one more panel and the battery. Currently spare energy is sold back to TEP for bill credit.
I highly recommend Clay Mauldin at Clayco Electric Solar! A great team! -
I worked with about 5 solar representatives before signing on with Clayco Electric Inc.
I was about to pay $25,000 for 13 panels, and I saw a deal offering from Clayco that offered 16 panels for about $15,000. Thank god for coupon mailers!
I live in Tucson, so pricing may be different in other areas, and it may change due to inflation and other factors, but I’m sure you can trust that Clayco Electric is offering the best deal you will find. In addition, they will provide you high quality materials and installation; they don’t cut corners.
I worked with Clay, Dominic, Roman and Andrea; the experience was excellent.
You can stop shopping around; this is the installer you want to choose. -
Clayco is the only company to work with for solar. They are quick to respond and even provide service for OTHER sales.
I recently put my house on the market and the very inquisitive buyers wanted every last detail on the system. I asked Clay, he told me who to talk to, and in 20 minutes the buyer was reading the details of the warranty, system design, and components. The buyer mentioned that the company must be solid if they can get them the information that fast. I believe strongly that the response helped me sell my home.
Clayco has been there to answer every question and make sure every aspect of the system they sold is working and that I understand how to get the most from the system.
I will be using them in the future on investment properties, as well as my new home. -
I can't say enough about how great they are. Very nice, honest, and did a great job on the installation. Our bills are what they said they would be. We had them installed in the middle of December 2024, so 4.5 months so far. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended.

I hired Clayco to finish the install and activation of my solar panels on my home after the company that started the install disappeared (apparently went out of business). Clayco responded quickly every time I sent an inquiry. They stayed after the county until they finally reactivated my expired permit. They quickly figured out what was still needed with my install and got it completed, accepted by TEP and fully operational. Since my system was very near completion, there wasn't much money in it for Clayco, but, they treated me like an important customer all the same. I really appreciate how they handled my needs and I am very glad I found them.

We had a remarkably positive experience with Clay and his team of installers. They came from over 100 miles away for three days to get the 13 panel system installed, and accommodated my desire to move and use my existing panel racks. They used the highly respected 400 W Q-Cells and mini-inverters by Enphase, both current industry leaders. They are no non-sense and very efficient, and the quoted price was far below the competition at he time. I highly recommend Clayco for solar & electrical work.

We have been very glad that we chose Clayco Electric to work with for our solar panel installation. Their communication has been excellent every step of the way. If we had a question, it was answered promptly. The proposal included high quality materials and was fairly priced. The installation occurred on the day that had been communicated.

Clayco was hired by Sunlight Financial to fix solar projects that were abandoned by a company called POWER4WARD. The rep from Clayco called me on 02/21/25 and enthusiastically said they were hired to fix POWER4WARDs project and scheduled an appointment for 02/26/25. They then no call no showed.... Then on 02/27/25 this guy reaches out to me saying the didn't come because they were busy and wants to set another date. I explain to him that no call no showing has been a problem with other solar companies in my experience and that next time he sets a date with us to please be certain Clayco can show up, essentially to commit. He considers this request as giving him attitude. I get it, holding someone accountable when they don't want to be will cause upset.
He gets really emotional with me, tells me he doesn't have to come out and that they don't work for me, when in fact, they called me to come out on behalf of sunlight financial and do the job. This this was really awkward for me because in no way shape or form did I suggest that he worked for me. It felt like he was a child tearfully crying and screaming "YOUR NOT MY REAL FATHER" while running away.
Edit:Quote; " Parts if this are true" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Let's be clear. When you make commitments and no call no show it's unprofessional and quite frankly rude. I was understanding. However when I asked your kid to be sure to schedule a time that Clayco could 100% commit to, he took offense to that, got emotional, and told me he don't work for me and doesn't have to come out.
I didn't call Clayco, Clayco called me wanting to come do the job. You failed the interview, you couldn't even show up. You can't cancel the job my dude, you never had the job.
This will be put on record with Sunlight Financial. Clayton solar doesn't have the temperament to handle people who were scammed by Sunlight Financials contractor nor the front facing customer service ability to be punctual or show up at all, much less the professionalism to make a simple phone call on the day the appointment is.
Id fire Clayton solar if I could, however they were never hired and couldnt even show up for the interview. -
I had a very good experience working with Clayco for my solar system, from the quoting process, to working with a roofer to replace my roof, to installation, communication was stellar. We had some hiccups not the fault of Clayco that they were able to navigate and now my solar system is up and running. I am thankful that even after my system was completed they are willing and able to answer questions and help with issues that might come up. Great company to work with.

Reached out to inquire about adding some panels to my current system. Fast to respond and presented solutions where others did not. For those that did, Clayco Electric outdid their bids. Communication was awesome, spot on. Scheduling install was easy. The work done on site was top notch, professional and clean, very respectful of the property and collaboration was superb. Highly recommend Clayco Electric Inc for all your solar needs. They are now my primary for all my solar and electrical needs I have going forward.

After contacts from several solar companies, we chose Clayco for our home solar system. Very smart move!! During the entire process everything went exactly as planned from start to finish. They were always available when we had questions. Jarrod, Andrea always available and helpful answering our questions. The crew was very professional and always cleaned up after a day's work. We liked their work so well that after the initial solar installation we had them return and ad a battery backup. Super quality work, thanks.
