My AC Compressor replacement was assigned by my home warranty to E & A Mechanical and my experience is that my home warranty really scrapes the barrel on who they assign work to and no great hopes for timeliness nor quality. Well, I am spending this precious moment of mine to share that my experience was the OPPOSITE of exasperating, but they were very communicative, proactive, and the tech I was blessed with was Andre, who is very friendly yet unobtrusive and extremely savvy in his field. Andre is meticulous about the job AND the cleanup.

I got to tell ya, the level of professionalism Andre exudes is from an earlier generation when folks cared about and took pride in what they produced and rolling up one’s sleeves was the order of the day.

This company was chosen by my home protection policy for a heater repair. The tech notion came out told me nothing was wrong with my heater. Charged me 185 dollars to clean it and now 5 days later it is not working again. They can’t come back out for 5 days to look at again. Terrible company! My insurance will not let me use any other company. They really don’t know what they are doing. Maybe they only treat insurance calls this way. Very untrustworthy. I would pick another company if I could.

E&A was assigned to us via our home warranty program. I had a pretty good experience. The tech, Andrey, arrived on time. He was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. The problem was a clogged drain pipe, which he identified and fixed in less than an hour, in addition to inspecting and sealing the attic ducts at the same time.

The technician arrived on time and was very helpful and explained to me what the problem was. He also explained what was covered by the home warranty and what was not. He took his time by doing a through inspection. My AC works great, doesn't leak and cools the house even better. Gave me some tips as well as what to be aware of since my system is old.

I am extremely disappointed with the service of E & A Mechanical. We had scheduled an AC repair/maintenance appointment, and they canceled at the very last minute (same day). This wasn’t just any cancellation—it was for a 6 month pregnant woman who was depending on their service to keep her home comfortable and safe during record high temperatures.

Their lack of consideration and poor communication is completely unacceptable. Not only did they fail to show up, but they also left us scrambling to find an alternative solution at the last minute. For a company that claims to care about its customers, this experience was anything but professional.

If you’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused AC company, I suggest you look elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle and frustration.

I was required to use this company through my home warranty for a heating issue. The technician spent less then 5 minutes diagnosing issue, took one photo and then tried to leave without explaining what he believed the issue was. The report he provided to our home warranty was undoubtedly denied as he was recommending complete re-ducting despite the AC/heating unit and ducts being newer and having no past issues.

We called them out from our Home Warranty company. The setup of the appointment was easy and they were good to call in advance of their arrival. The technician clearly explained the findings and fixed the problem. It was very informative and we appreciated the time spent to make sure we knew what to do to take care of our system. I would recommend them to our neighbors.
