Best tree company in Jax. Mike is a bonafide arborist and has been in business for decades.

I called several other companies. No one else felt like they could grind the stump because it was near the propane tank. Not only did they grind the stump, they also cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend!

The crew was professional and courteous, and their experience was evident in how efficiently they took down our trees. All were close enough to the house and a huge oak tree that real skill was needed to bring them down without damaging anything else. It was a joy to watch their teamwork and expertise.

With heritage trees on my property that I wish to preserve for future generations Huffman Tree is always my choice because Mike is an certified arborist and cares. He is always thinking out of the box when it comes to saving, treating and preserving our trees.

Mike is the only person we let cut our trees since he is a licensed arborist, he’s not in the business to just cut down trees but to make sure they are healthy and in good shape. We have known Mike for over 30 years and us a trusted friend.

These guys were exactly what I was looking for. Mike Huffman bid the job himself. He explained how we could best achieve what I was looking to get done while meeting the requirements of the government. He also submitted the paperwork to the City for the necessary permit.

When it came time to do the job he was onsite doing the work himself. He brings a good crew that watches the area to keep people and property safe. Then cleans up all debris.

We have used Mike for years. He has removed several stumps as well as trees on our two properties. He and his team are always on time and very professional and we highly recommend them.

If a score of zero was available that is what I would give. Mike was contracted by our neighbor to remove a magnolia tree that was damaged from Hurricane Matthew. After removing the main section of the damaged tree many large branches and limbs were left in the tree which extended over our driveway. Mike was contacted by my neighbor and myself to remove the danger and exposure of damage and bodily harm this presented. He promised that he would take care of it. Today we had to pay another company to remove the danger to my property and family. Obviously the words I have for Mike Huffman I cannot say here. I highly recommend that if you are even thinking about using his service that you make him complete his work before you pay him. I have never written a negative review in my life but his attitude and the way he handled this has left me with the obligation to warn others about what a horrible person I think he is.

Mike Huffman came, saw, and conquered my tree trimming/ cutting problems. He explained what needed to be done - why and how. The price was fair. I am so glad I chose his tree care service
because he actually cares about trees! Several friends had recommended him as well as the Atlantic Beach Environmental Stewardship Committee. He did exactly what they assured me he would.

Mike and his crew came out to our house yesterday to trim our oaks, palms and remove one tree and stump grind. They were prompt and did a fabulous job. They were polite, and best of all, cleaned up like they had never cut a zillion branches. If you are looking for a tree trimmer, call Huffman Tree Service.

Excellent and thoughtful. Our back yard was dominated by a rotten maple tree that was becoming quite hazardous. We also manage to have some raised vegetable beds right next to the tree that could not be moved. Huffman went out of their way to safely remove the tree without smashing or molesting the nearby vegetable beds at all. Thankyou! My yard looks GREAT!!

I paid $140.00 for the technician to “flood” my carpet with solution of some sort and not suction it up. I was told well maybe his suction wasn’t working properly. Well don’t you think HE should know.
The 3 year old carpet was STILL WET 15 hours later. it’s just one person in the home and carpet wasn’t dirty. I’m terribly disappointed. I wish I could rate it a negative!

C and C did an OUTSTANDING job. My carpet looks like it’s brand new.
