Horrible experience, communication nonexistent, never did anyone return my voice mails and I had to call back every time. Guys assigned to monitor repairs were nice, but admitted short staffed and seemed overwhelmed. First crew who put on new roof late August first of sept. Was found to be subcontracted and lied on their application, per Roman staff. I was verbally told they don’t subcontract, yet they did. Have text to prove these issues. Almost all of the roof had to be redone. I still had issues with appearance which was per company completed 12/6/23. As soon as they state they are done with my reported issues, which never once did they disagree with, and admitted looked bad with each complaint, they start calling for balance due. My trust in there roof is gone. Customer care guy threatened to put lien on house when I called and told him I was getting third party inspect done, and asked for possible reduction in balance. Most non professional experience I have ever had. My goal is to feel confident in the roof and the amount i paid. I don’t want a free ride, but it’s common decency with all the issues.
I have waited on them to fix issues for over 2 months, now they are saying my balance is past due and should have been paid after first crew did shotty work. This has delayed my ability to find new insurance provider follow.
Don’t get taken advantage of. If I wouldn’t have reported the first crew, I don’t feel they would have mentioned any of this. Upsetting how quickly the tone turned with the customer care guy, when I bring up third party inspection and ask for possible reduction. Tone means everything sometimes, a simple I don’t think we can make a reduction with balance, but I can check into resent for additional inspection. Just a few pictures, but they don’t even begin to show the poor quality that an in person view did. They claim issues correct, but the my this experience has removed any trust I had in this company.

This was an excellent job, starting with the salesman, Brandon and ending with the walk-through with Juan. The teardown crew did an excellent job with getting everything removed from the roof and replacing the rotted wood and then thoroughly cleaning up when they were finished. The shingle crew again very professional came in and went right to work. Got the job done. It looks great. I’m very happy with it. I have had many compliments from my neighbors and I love the finished product. Thank you so much Roman Roofing Inc.!

Roman Roofing is an experienced and trustworthy company. From the estimate to the final installation, they were true to their word, no surprises, and started and completed in the time specified. There was no lingering mess. They protected our property from debris. Most importantly, the job was done to perfection. We couldn't be happier. Besides the work being top notch, all parties we spoke to were knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. A win win on all counts. I would recommend them with pleasure and confidence.

James was very helpful and responsive. Roman Roofing as a whole made me feel confident that they could handle the job and get it done before hurricane season arrives. They originally installed my roof a few years ago and it held up extremely well to Hurricane Ian with only minimal damage. I would use Roman Roofing again.

I called 3 different roofing companies for quotes on a roof replacement. Roman Roofing was the first to come out to the house for an estimate. Their bid was the lowest out of all 3 bids. They did the work quickly and efficiently. They even picked up all of the fallen nails and bits of debris from the lawn when they were done! Ralph from Roman Roofing also emailed me a lot of photos showing the sub-roof and the damaged planks of wood, which they replaced of course. I was extremely pleased with Roman Roofing, and I highly recommend them.

RUN AWAY from this company!

Nothing but a pain from the start and through to the end!

How does a "reputable" roofing company with so many "years of experience" get it so wrong?

I would post pictures but that in not an option here.

Problems with company and job (in order of how they occurred):
1.) Workers purposely broke many palm fronds that they deemed "in their way" destroying trees in the process.
2.) Left a lot of shingles, debris and nails laying around the yard after tear off.
3.) FAILED FIRST INPECTION! This was because the peel and stick underlayment was not laid down flat. Yes, you read that right NOT FLAT. This is such a rookie mistake it's disgusting. (Dry-in inspection)
4.) Installed a ridge vent that should not have been installed. The ridge vent was installed 3.5 feet from a Solar Power Exhaust Fan vent. Anyone who knows anything about roofing knows this is another rookie mistake. They had to come back out, remove ridge vent, seal and shingle the ridge which is how it should have been done from the start.
5.) FAILED FINAL INSPECTION!
6.) Damaged gutter causing the gutter to overflow. Had to come back to fix.
7.) Left 8 open bundles of shingles and 1.5 cans of 5 gal roofing cement in front yard landscaping. Was not even aware that it was there until I called to inform them a week after the job was finished.
7.) Very poor communication

An incredibly lousy experience. I can only hope the roof holds up!

Since it seems you cannot find me in your system, which is no surprise that your bookkeeping/tracking/computers operate at the same level of your work. Try looking up my name and any paid invoices you have from 7/6/2023 and 8/16/2023.

From the beginning with James the salesman whom represents this company very well to the end with Greg the customer care representative and everything in between including the hard working installers, the office staff and field supervisors this is a professional company!! Someone is always there to take your call and they don’t hide behind voicemail which is unusual in today’s world! We have no complaints and happy with our choice to work with Roman roofing.

I called Roman because of people we know that have used them. My salesman, Ralph Chianese, came out and did a thorough inspection. Other than being old, he found nothing wrong with my roof.
Ralph gave us a quote that we thought was more than fair. He even gave us a new designer color for the same price.
Work was done in a very timely manner. Actually quicker than we thought. Their crews did an excellent job. The installation crew gave us an additional attic vent, instead of just taking the extra material back.
We had new facia, soffit, and seamless gutters done as well. Their installer, Tom and his son Chris, are awesome people to deal with.
I would highly recommend Roman Roofing to anyone that wants a quality roof.
Don't mess with these fly by night "free roof" companies. Deal with a pro.

Fantastic company. Highly recommend. Mike Glover was great to work with and always answered my after hours texts. He walked me through everything in detail and repeated when needed. Tony was my supervisor and walked the property with me and addressed my concerns after the roof was installed. Esteban was my installer and he and the team were very professional and did a great job!

I had Marcus Bloom from Roman Roofing out to evaluate gutters on a storage building. He spent quite some time checking the gutters and it was determined that we don't need new gutters after all. I thought that was very honest. I'll be calling when I need a roof.

Roman Roofing is a remarkably well run company that serves their clients extremely well. They are true professionals. I see they have a 4.6 rating out of 5 and I might have agreed with that in terms of the quality of the work, the pricing, the courteous team who did the tear off and the team who installed underlayment and the shingles. However, the project manager is a man named Alex Alonso who brings Roman Roofing up to an solid 5 Stars. He not only managed the project, he made certain that everything was running as it should and that his team delivered what they promised to deliver when they said they would. Alex went the extra mile with a few items regarding the roof that he didn’t really have to involve himself with, yet he did anyway. In an age when some contractors don’t even show up on the week they said they would, Alex made sure his teams arrived EARLY and had everything they needed to complete the job. Alex is guy you can count on, 100%. Way to go Roman Roofing! You hire really great people!

Roman Roofing referred to me by a colleague has been nothing but spectacular. My initial experience was with Jordan. He was accommodating kind and attentive in having my roof inspected and walking me through the process smoothly and easily. Additionally, I have worked with Philip, who came out on a Sunday to address one of my emergency needs and once again they stepped up and provided me the comfort and the assurance to know I am well taken care of. I can’t say enough about everyone I’ve worked with from the administrative staff down to the estimator‘s and technicians all have been a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend Roman Roofing

Great experience. Salesman broke down all the different types of roofs and costs. Gave me a list of houses with each color we were looking at to drive by and see the roof in person, not just on cardboard. Once we decided what roof and color we wanted it went pretty quick for being in the Cape in my opinion. Signed the forms and the following Monday the dumpster and tear down material came, Tuesday they tore the old roof on and put the protective layer on. Thursday the shingles were delivered and an install crew were there Friday! Roof looks great, high quality shingle, not the cheaper 3 tab shingle which tore easily during Ian.

This is one of the best companies I have ever used. From day 1 we were contacted by Austin from Romans Roofing and on the last day of the project we still maintained contact with Austin, it’s refreshing to work with one person. Austin also came out after a storm to fix the tarp that’s been on the roof and he is always quick to answer any questions. As far as the workmanship this company is amazing. They not only provide an excellent product but they also take such good care of the property that every day of a 7 day project it was as if they were never there. If you want a professional roofing company don’t pass up on Romans Roofing.

We had a replacement 7" super gutter installed on our lanai, leaf guards installed on our front gutters, and had our lanai cage re-screened using 20/20 super screen. The price was reasonable, and the service (time and quality of work) was amazing! The crew leader, Rafael Angeles was excellent. He made sure that the job was done professionally and carefully. Their entire team, including Christian Lopez Rafael (estimator) and Austin Kennedy (contract administrator and my main contact through the project scope implementation) were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The whole job, from start to finish went extremely smoothly. I would highly recommend Roman Roofing for your roofing and ancillary home repair needs!

Roman Roofing did a great job on our roof after Hurricane Ian. I had never replaced a roof and knew nothing about roofing materials, contractors or dealing with insurance providers after hurricane damage. We chose Roman Roofing based on good feedback from community members. It took a year to complete due to supplies, insurance issues and Roman's workload but I'm so glad with waited for them to do the work. They did a great job installing the new roof and cleaning up the job site. From sales to job completion, I couldn't be happier. It looks beautiful and we get many compliments!

After a year after Ian, and being approached by many questionable roofing companies, I called Roman Roofing. I contacted with them. My roofing was installed with normal scheduling delays. I had it inspected and Roman corrected all issues and didn’t request the final payment until they had completed the punch list. They are a real company with a fully staffed office. I am very pleased with Roman Roofing and would recommend them to my friends.

Roman Roofing made the whole new roof process easy and affordable. The material selection as well as pricing provided the most value for the cost. After the hurricanes, Roman Roofing stepped up their game by moving us up in their busy schedule to get my roof replaced instead of tarped. I needed a new roof thanks to Hurricane Ian, and Roman Roofing was my choice for the job. After doing some research and seeing the many positive customer reviews plus the A+ rating from the BBB, Roman was my first choice. I got three quotes as I do with any big ticket purchases and was happy that Roman was the low bid. They did an excellent job, and we've gotten many positive comments about the new roof. As you can see in the after and before photos, the new shingle color coordinates better with the house. We're very pleased and recommend Roman Roofing wholeheartedly!

Very grateful to Roman Roofing. Its been a while since I had a company this trustworthy. Philip came down to look at a leaking in my home and showed me that was probably caused by the windows ac units in 2 bedrooms. But despite that he still went looking the attic and went up to the roof and came down telling me that the roof was fine. Still have 10 to 20 years of good life. That was a bless to hear but to me was also not just the monetary value almost impossible to afford right now if something was bad, but to witnessed that still have people of honor out there. And because of it, without any charge, he went as happy as he came in.
I just needed to let everybody know what kind of people are in this company. Thank you.
