Home Services reviews in Miami, Florida

Looking for flower pots for 40 minutes, the one I found had no price like few other. However, they gave me a higher price than exactly the same one bigger next to it with no explanation. The owner didn’t want to explain over the phone,. This place is a scam

Absolutely beautiful place, I bought a gorgeous planter with a stand for my house. It looks even more amazing at it’s new spot. The plant selection is amazing and the service is great. I will definitely be back!

Love this little nursery and restaurant!!! We didn’t eat, but got a gorgeous white bird of paradise plant and planter! The menu looks inventive and delicious for brunch or lunch - they’re not open for dinner…

I can appreciate a store selling plants. But you can tell this is purely for profit. Wildly over priced for VERY COMMON plants that you can get at Home Depot or drive down to homestead or Davie. They just decorated the place for instagramable moments I’ve been a few times none of the employees know any thing about the plants. My biggest concern is they have a lot of INVASIVE SPECIES AND 0 NATIVE PLANTS. if you’re exclusively selling plants please at least be a little more avid about them.

Exceptional help and advice. Beautiful selection of healthy plants. And just a lovely place to walk around and be inspired.

Update (Jan 2021; original review below): From 3 stars (left a very fair / trying to be helpful review) to 1 star. A business owner should never attack a customer (a theme mentioned in another review...) or try to get personal (makes you look very condescending) while in the same breath saying she values customers. I wish this place best of luck, but I guess I’ll stick with Summer Day Nursery (113th / Biscayne) and yes, Home Depot (on occasion... but thanks for making me feel bad about that haha).
Original review (Dec 2020): Mixed feelings about this place. Live nearby (waking distance) and while I like supporting local, I also expect a level of customer-centric behaviors I wouldn’t get at Home Depot (at half the cost). Two specific comments: At premium pricing already, passing on a credit card fee is just awful / so petty (didn’t even realize until I looked at the receipt...). Come on guys. Who does that? Second, the refund / replace policy needs a review... you’re selling plants. Some won’t work out. Again, take a customer-first approach to how you deal with it. I genuinely want this place to succeed, but management needs a bit of a refresher on what makes for a great customer experience (aside from just a pretty storefront - and it is a nice little setup they have!). -
Terrible customer service, unfair business practices. Poor service, rude staff, and extremely over priced. There are two great plant shops in close proximity to this place on Biscayne.

We recently purchased all the plants and planters for our new patio and balcony at MiMo Garden Center and can’t be happier. The plants are healthy and growing more beautiful every day, the delivery was smooth and right on time, but most importantly Megan has been incredible with her advise, assistance and follow up. You can tell she actually cares and that makes all the difference… Thanks Megan! Strongly recommend MiMo for a beautiful garden!

So many plants to pick from, decent pricing and lots of cute planters!

Their plant selection is absolutely unbeatable (extremely well priced, too). They also have very nice pots of varying sizes.
Those that run the shop are also extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. One even went above and beyond and said to send her some pictures of a particular plant so she can let me know how to take care of it.
This will be your new plant shop. -
My boyfriend recommended this spot that was near by where we currently live. Yesterday I came to this location and had a lady help me out with what I needed. She’s was nice, and I went ahead and gave her 20% of a tip as a nice gesture. I come in today because the plants I got were to big for the project I am currently working on, so I wanted her recommendation of what I could do. I came with my partner, and let’s just say we had terrible feed back. She made us feel extremely uncomfortable for even coming to ask for help. We explained the situation and she said “we don’t do any returns or exchanges...” mind you it had been not even one day and the plants were in perfect condition untouched. She proceeded to say “I can separate the plants and put them on smaller plants, but this is a favor I’m doing it. No one else would do it for you. I leave at 3 pm so I can do it for you” she was so bothered to do such a small favor that took more than 3 mins to put on a smaller pot. So unfortunate to know that their employees don’t practice good customer service. This was the first and last time I will be coming to this place. There are many other great locations where the staff enjoys helping all customers that walk in & are are happy to help. Extremely disappointed.

I went to this shop because it was closer to my house, and I really didn't want to sit in traffic getting to Home Depot. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection. The garden is small, however, they have the most gorgeous pots. They have all your basic gardening needs, and the location is prime. They have stunning succulent arrangements that are almost have the price of another succulent florist around the corner. GORGEOUS! I will definitely be using this gardening center in the future, as well as their flower shop.

Mimo Garden is a plant lover’s paradise! Beautiful selection, healthy plants, and super helpful staff, they were very welcoming and super nice. Highly recommend!

My favorite plant shop in Miami! Great selection of unique plants. It’s really nice to walk around and get inspiration for both landscaping and indoor plants.

Fun place to see some plants. Parking is partly free and partly pay by app. Parking could be an issue with a large vehicle. Staff was very friendly, and no sales pressure.

Extremely disappointing experience with MiMo Garden Center. I visited the store and selected a specific Alocasia plant after discussing care and delivery with the staff. I explicitly did not purchase a Bird of Paradise — I even put it back, and at checkout, the girl helping me said, “I knew you weren’t going to take the Bird of Paradise.”
Despite this, I was delivered the wrong plant. As a working mom dealing with a family situation, I only noticed the issue a bit later when I had the chance to examine the plant more closely. When I reached out, instead of offering help or understanding, the team immediately became defensive, denied any mistake, and insisted I had chosen the Bird of Paradise, which is absolutely untrue. By the way, I spent over $600 at this store.
To support their version of events, they sent me a receipt I had never seen before which stated I had purchased the Bird of Paradise. When I pointed out that I was never given or emailed this invoice, they told me they don’t share invoices with customers. So if you do decide to shop with them — be sure to request an invoice at the time of purchase. Though frankly, I would strongly recommend you try one of the other two excellent plant stores located within a short driving distance of MiMo (on Biscayne.)
They offered no apology, no discount, and no resolution. I was even charged for a $20 saucer that was never delivered, and they told me I would have to come into the store in person just to get credit for it. They refused to credit me, or zelle me. Their customer service was rude, combative, and completely unprofessional throughout — more focused on proving their point than standing behind their product or customer experience.
Everyone makes mistakes — but how you handle them defines your business. MiMo Garden Center failed this test entirely. I will not return, and I advise others to avoid the same headache. -
Mimo Garden Center is a true gem. It’s like stepping into a beautifully curated botanical garden, with every plant vibrant and healthy.
Unlike the plants I find at big-box stores like Home Depot, which can be neglected or come with pests, the plants here are always well cared for. I’ve never had a problem with bugs or fungus, and they thrive once I bring them home—something I can’t always say for larger stores.
Bunny, who helped me during my visit, was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely excited to help me find the perfect plants. The experience felt personal and tailored to my needs, and it’s clear that the staff at Mimo take great pride in what they do.
The atmosphere is peaceful, and the selection is amazing. There’s even a cat who lives in the garden! -
🌿🌵🏜️Beautiful selection & kind staff. Snagged an awesome plant for our trip home!

I purchased two plants from here, a string of pearls and a variegated rubber plant. The day after hanging my string of pearls I noticed it had webs all over it. I uncurled the pearls and found 4 worms and more webs everywhere. I found a snail shell and several spiders. I contacted the garden center and asked if I could return the pearls and they said to send an email with the photos for a possible credit. They emailed me back saying that since they’re not Spider mites and it’s a snail that it’s just nature. No mention of the worms. I had to take the plant out of the pot because no matter what I did the webs kept coming. What I found inside was terrible. By the way I checked my rubber plant and it also had spiders. Be carful buying here.

Ohh I am so happy I found this little gem of a place. I was helped by Ninfa, who kindly and with great vibes, answered all my plant questions and assisted me in picking the right plants for my DIY. The nursery is very very nice, pleasant, well organized, all of the plants look healthy and they have a great selection of pots — both for big and tiny little plants. I will totally come back for all my planting needs.
In short: 100% recommend this place.
For my price sensitive peeps: Keep in mind you will be paying on the premium side, but you are in MIMO and the customer service you get is totally worth every single penny of it.
