My A/C wasn't working right, so I called Poudre Valley Air. They quickly got me on the schedule. When the tech came out, he found the problem right away. It didn't take him long to get it fixed. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.

You’d better think twice before using this company. Rock is our project manager. Cory is the lead installer. I’m sure they are both nice enough guys. They have been at my home installing our system for the last three days. In those three days, they have managed to hang three wall units. That’s it! No air, which we were promised to have at least to part of the home upon our return from vacation. In fact, we’re not even close and the outside temp is 94 degrees. The installer informed us he had no idea when the electrician would be ordered let alone show up. Keep in mind it’s not going to be below 90 degrees for the next ten days AND that I have young children already complaining of headaches.

To make matters worse, they have wrecked the outside of my home. Keep in mind Rock has been to my home and had multiple conversations with me. He knows very well my home is freshly remodeled- new siding and painted- about a month ago. I was very specific with Rock that our trim is a beautiful bright white. I actually told him I passed on another company based upon the fact they couldn’t get white exterior covers to match my trim. I specifically told Rock I did not want cream colored covers. And guess what? There are cream colored covers DRILLED into my brand new siding.

On top of this, they have drilled big holes in Our siding to place the exterior unit in a completely different place where they were supposed to. For some reason unbeknownst to any common sense or logic whatsoever, they have decided to place the large unit toward the front of my home and visible to the street???!!!!

What in the entire freak are these people doing?

Of course we called Rock over three hours ago at approximately 330 pm. It’s now almost 7pm and we are still waiting for a return call.

I will update this post as this debacle continues to unfold, however I think I’ve seen enough to warn anyone that values their family and their home to steer clear of this outfit.

We had ductwork installed for our new range hood. The installers were on time, did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and were very nice. They took care of removing the old microwave, installing the new hood and the ductwork....other vendors told me I would need a roofer, electrician, already have the microwave removed. These guys did it all and for less than my other estimates!

Two service calls at $85 a piece. That's actually a very reasonable price. If only they'd been able to solve my problem. All that diagnostics did nothing. The replacement part they ordered for me wasn't the right part and was actually the same part I had available to them during the service calls. They charged me at 330% markup and wouldn't refund me when it was clearly the wrong part. If you're completely ignorant about furnaces and own a bank Poudre valley Air might be just the right fit. With a name like Poudre Valley Air you think they'd have a local feel. Not so much.

Wyatt did a great job servicing our AC. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and brought all the tools, parts, and know-how to get our unit back up and running. We look forward to having him back for future service calls!

I had the recent pleasure of experiencing outstanding customer service from technicians, Steve N, Julian A, and Damien M from Poudre Valley Air. They were courteous, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the process. I was impressed by their attention to detail. They went above and beyond to cleanup after themselves too. Overall a very positive experience.

We have been customers of Poudre Valley Air for almost 40 years, and purchased multiple furnaces, air conditioning, and other solutions from them over the years. On Tuesday I began to suspect a failure in our AC, confirmed the next day and contact PVA only to discover that in April of this year (2024) their residential business had been sold to Lion Home Services. So I will also post this under reviews for LMS.

When I called PVA, I mean LMS, it was at least 20 minutes into the conversation before it became clear these were not the same people. We had a protracted, random conversation which including they requiring me to dig up various previous warranties and service contracts that had been written with PVA. I have no idea who is responsible, but the hand-off between businesses was disgusting. After 40 years of PVA calling every spring to renew our summer contract and schedule warm-weather maintenance, neither party followed up on this. I've never had to keep track of this as in the past PVA had been fantastic, but either of the two parties let it drop and so it expired June 26 of this year.

We neither received notice of the company sale, nor of our contract termination, and Lion was eager to capitalize on that with a hard press for additional services, and non of the normal contract service benefits for our current situation. Because I knew a heat wave was coming later in the week and I didn't have time to research an alternative, I went ahead with the per-per-incident repair which was overpriced by 30%

Having also been a commercial customer of PVA, I am insulted by how the owner(s) handled this. I don't blame owners and investors for selling a business, but the way this was handled showed utter disrespect and concern for thousand of loyal customers. Shame, shame, shame on you.

Companies no longer deserve customer loyalty - certainly not PVA and not LMS.

I guess the best word to describe the service we received from Poudre Valley Air is--WOW!! We called for an estimate to install a wall mounted evaporative cooler in our home and two days later Rock S. paid us a visit. Rock was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He discussed various cooling options for our home and recommended an evaporative cooler for a very fair price. I asked when the cooler could be installed, thinking it would be weeks or even months down the road, and he said the technicians from Poudre Valley Air could install it the following week! As promised, Lead Installer Cory, assistant Seth and electrician Dustin (Peak Electrical Solutions) arrived at our home, on time, the following week. Cory, Seth and Dustin were an incredible team and had our cooler installed in 3-1/2 hours! They were also professional, courteous and knowledgeable! The product and service we received from Poudre Valley Air was incredible and we'd recommend their services to everyone!

Brandon M. performed a complete HVAC duct cleaning service for us. He explained how his equipment worked and spent several hours on the process. He was very thorough and professional. He even took a few pictures showing the before and after results. The cost was reasonable especially with the discount coupon. Thank you so much for the great service.
