This is our second experience with A-1 Safety Chimney Service. A-1 repaired our fireplace last fall and we had them back to repair our chimney cap this week. Zac and Daniel were professional, personable and did fantastic work quicker than we expected. We are very satisfied with A-1’s work and the value received - we highly recommend A-1.

Just had a full Chimney overhaul with Anthony and Steven. I was a little unsure about using A-1 Safety for my Chimney needs, but after I had a consultation with Anthony I was sure that my issues would be taken care of with the greatest detail. Anthony was very meticulous with safety being his number one concern. He took the time to show me all the available products and offer recommendations. I'm very satisfied with the service and products provided by Anthony and the A-1 team. Thanks again!

Due to new insurance requirements I needed to have a fireplace cleaning and inspection.
This company is local and very professional, on time, and informative to questions. Suggested recommendation for a small issue. I would definitely use them again.

I was NOT looking forward to having my fireplace cleaned but all my doubts went away when Anthony got here. He was professional and explained everything in detail so I could understand. Not only that but he was a nice person. A great representative for the company. I will definitely use them again and request Anthony.

Anthony is the best. So knowledgeable and also new exactly what I needed based off the style of my house. We changed our wood fire burning chimney to gas and it looks insanely gorgeous.
We went with birch wood and platinum crystals and I am beyond thrilled.

We have had A-1 Safety Chimney out several times to do inspections and cleanings. Most recently they came and converted our fireplace from wood burning to gas. Their techs are always professional, knowledgeable, and fabulous to work with. They wear shoe covers in our home and keep the house clean while they work. They are always up front about the pricing and costs and don't beat around the bush. Anthony is an awesome tech. He is friendly and tells us what needs to be done and what his recommendations are with moving forward. He was unbelievably quick in the cleaning, repairs, and conversion. We have used other big name fireplace companies in the past and they don't come near the quality of service that we received with A-1 Safety Chimney Service Inc.

We recently had A-1 out for a chimney sweep and fireplace inspection. Anthony and Steven were thorough, efficient, and easy to work with. After it was determined that our old gas log system was not safe for use anymore, they did a great job replacing it -- sprucing up the whole fireplace with new logs/grate, paint, and decorative glass. Our fireplace looks wonderful now! And most importantly, it's safe to use. I would recommend this team for any fireplace/chimney needs.

They broke the chain to the flu and I have been dealing with them for six weeks. They have terrible customer service.

We highly recommend A1! We wanted to get our fireplace ready to go for the cold months and Zac set us up. He was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and kept his work space super clean. He walked us through the set up of our chimney, how to best use it, and gave us tips for more efficient upgrades we could make in the future. Zac was thorough in his explanation and it was obvious he cares about his work. We are so appreciative of his service! We will definitely use A-1 in the future.

A-1 Safety Chimney is a reputable company. I had scheduled a chimney sweep and the 2 employees that came out were only here for 10 minutes. I’m thinking, no way they cleaned the chimney in 10 minutes. I was pretty upset.

So I called A1 and complained and told them about the matter. I told them I have video from my ring camera that would show how long they were here.

A1 made it right by by refunding payment AND they sent 2 different employees out to clean my chimney the right way. Togo and Daniel were very professional and were wonderful to deal with!

People are people and the first 2 people that came out did not represent them well, but I can understand this because I manage employees and people make mistakes, it’s human nature, , but what matters is how does the company handle the complaint and how do they make it right by the customer. I’m happy to say that A1 did make it right by me!

An incredibly professional company with employees that are fun and certainly know what they’re talking about. Anthony came out and was a great help and a delight to talk with. Their prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend them.

A year after posting this, I had problems again with my fireplace and Anthony stopped over and fixed it free of charge.

A year later, I was having problems again, and I found that Anthony no longer worked for the company, and when he had visited the last time and fixed it, he did not record it at the company so they had no record. They sent another individual who came and found that the original piece that was installed was not installed totally properly and that’s why it would only work intermittently unfortunately, I had to pay a fairly high price to have it totally taken apart and repaired the repair. Man was absolutely fantastic and explained everything to me and spent hours trying to get it to work properly. They finally found that a valve was not functioning and they had to order it, and when they came back, they replaced it and cleaned all of the glass windows of the fireplace, rewired everything and spread some black pebbles below the logs and around them and re-stack the logs properly. Everybody was absolutely tremendous, but it was not inexpensive.

We have used A-1 twice during the last few months. We have dealt with Anthony and his assistant Ryan. They have been reliable and professional, we feel confident about the quality of their work, and it was done at a fair price.

I needed a partial chimney rebuild and a new chimney cap. Anthony and his team were super courteous and friendly, and did very nice work! Kayla from the office team promptly helped me schedule the repair, and color match the brick. Pricing was reasonable, the repair looks great, and brick used is identical to our original brick. I am very happy!
