I have a wood burning fire place I was thinking of having converted to a gas fireplace. I was calling around for companies that do that work. Called A1 and to my shock, for a sales appointment, they charge $75 for them to come out to give an estimate. No thanks. Keeping this policy is a good way to lose business like myself.

Anthony and Daniel did an exceptional job throughout our chimney sweep and inspection. They were clean, polite, and had excellent communication every step of the way. Highly recommend A-1; will be calling them again for future service.

Zac and Ryan did a spectacular job of repairing our fireplace, yesterday. They were neat, precise and patient as we asked a million questions. We added the waterproofing at the last minute, not knowing we were headed to rain and snow today, but oh well. I truly recommend A-1 to anyone in need of help with their fireplace.

Nice guys, good clean service at a reasonable price. Sadly, there is a company required upsell - but they were not at all pushy. Will recommend and definitely use again.

We have an old building with very fussy gas fireplaces. A-1 Safety was the company that seemed to best understand my questions about our issues and they came promptly to get it up and running a few years ago. I have had Zac come out to service it yearly and he always does a great job. This time, he and Daniel helped troubleshoot a new weird problem and had it fixed in 20 minutes. You’ll be happy if you call them! Honest, friendly, reliable!

Anthony DeAngelo was the technician on site for my fire place. He was so pleasant to work with as was his partner, whose name escapes me. Both of them were extremely nice, professional, and a joy to interact with. They were in and out in just over an hour, cleaned up after themselves, and took extra time to ensure we used everything correctly and safely. Would recommend 1000 times over and worth every penny.

Used last year and they showed up 6hrs late with no notification. Tried them again this year and they scheduled me on a day they were closed, called me two weeks later to make me reschedule because they forgot they were closed. Rescheduled me for the following day and never showed up for my scheduled appointment. When I called when they no showed, they rescheduled me AGAIN with a discount. Let’s see if they actually show up this time..

10 star rating! Anthony and Carlos were absolute professionals. They came in for an inspection and cleaning. Very up front with the issues, never pressured to upsell. Informative for my set up in my house. I ended up using them for gas log installation as well. I will refer this company every chance I get!!

We absolutely love our new fireplace! The price was affordable and the process was very fast. A-1 Safety technicians are very knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy at all. They showed us all our options and gave us space to think things over. We went with the white birchwood and black dragon glass. Can't wait to enjoy it even more over the holidays!

R&R gave the promised notice, arrived in the proper time window, covered their shoes, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, gave me prevention tips and charged the agreed upon price. I'd call that perfect. Thanks, guys!

Anthony came out to inspect the gas fireplace in my Condo Unit. He was very friendly and professional. He thoroughly explained how the gas fireplace worked and didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. I had a positive experience and will highly recommend A-1 to anyone in need of service.

There was water pouring into my house through my fireplace when it rained so I called a couple chimney companies but settled on A1 because the lady on the phone was very nice. She said it would be $95 for the diagnosis appointment but that would get credited to my bill if I moved forward with the services needed. This was a better deal than other companies from the start. So then I made an appointment and 2 very polite and professional young men Zac and Daniel showed up at my house on time. They got straight to work and within 15 minutes they were able to tell me exactly what was wrong with the chimney and also informed me of additional issues with the existing fireplace infrastructure which was horribly out of date and not even safe to use. So I asked them how much to make everything good as new and they gave me a fair price, and within 3 hours they fixed two chimneys and fireplaces with new seals, caps, logs, paint, everything really. And then they taught us how to use it since we really were not sure. Overall I can not think of one bad thing to say, especially I trust Zac and Daniel, if you are having issues with your chimney or fireplace you know who to call, A1 CHIMNEY! 5/5 stars thanks guys.

Rigo was an amazing technician. He was communicative and polite. He was also very respectful of our home and cleaned his work area. Will request him in the future!! Also, Kayla is very professional and follows up when needed.

Rigo and his partner took their time in explaining the difference between a modular masonry wood burning fireplace and a gas unit. I asked a million questions and Rigo provided a million answers. He went out of his way to assist me in learning to use my fireplace along with providing safety recommendations. I’m looking forward to a longstanding business relationship with this company to maintain my fireplace.
