I had been referred to the business through CEO’s previous employer. I was advised by them that they highly recommended him for his work in residential business. He was at first very responsive and quickly got out to quite a job for me, however after initially coming out it became increasingly difficult to get back in contact with him. I finally got a quote and was very happy with it. Ordered a $1,000 camera system to have hun help me run wires for. More and more often I would text multiple days in a row and get no response. I finally got ahold of him again and was able to set up an installation date. Texted me an hr beforehand to reschedule because he couldn’t get his ladder. Rescheduled for the following day same time. The owner was a no call no show. I texted multiple times with. I response. It has now been over a week and still haven’t gotten a response back. Highly disappointed after thinking he was gonna do a great job for me. Ordered a camera system to get installed and now I’m sitting on it trying to get new quotes.

Referred through Homeadvisor when I requested an electrician to repair non-functioning electrical outlets outside my newly purchased home. Damon spent the better part of a day diagnosing the problem. Had to come out the next day to complete part of the job, even though I had pre-paid through Homeadvisor. He said we would need to reschedule the rest of the job. I understand that it ended up being more complicated than we anticipated, so I really was willing to pay more to complete the work, and his estimate to complete was reasonable. However, 2 weeks later and I haven’t been able to get any further response. Now it appears that I will have to start over and find someone else, frustrating since he is already familiar with the job. Very disappointing.

Dont deliver here if u can help . this place is a joke . they dont have time to take 2 min to unload one bundle . cause they have a dead line to meet . so u get to sit for 3 hrs waiting for them to do a 2min job . ...... The truck driver bends over again ......

Graybar has been taking care of my family's electrical needs for almost 30 years. They're consistently knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

They have the stuff the big box stores don't carry, and typically have items in stock when everyone else is out.

Plus they have professional grade tools to make any size electrical job much easier.

I have been coming here 30+ years. Usually enjoy light conversation when getting my orders ,today no Exception. In early am Ben did a nice job on my order. Got everything very near the truck and asked if I needed help. Pop corn was stale!

The electricians did an excellent job for us here in Fort Wayne. Johnathan and his team showed up right on time, were very friendly, and acted professionally throughout the whole process. They took the time to answer all our questions, both when giving us a quote and while doing the electrical work. The new electrical panel they installed, along with the extra wiring, was set up very neatly and everything looks organized. They also made sure to clean up the work area before they left. On top of all that, their pricing was the best out of the four quotes we received for the same job. We would absolutely recommend their electrician services to anyone in Fort Wayne, and we’ll definitely call them again if we need more electrical work done.

received damaged material from this supply house. ended up pitching it all due to waiting all day and getting the material elsewhere. that screw up caused my business to lose money. i will take my business elsewhere.

My company has ordered material from this location many times, and the warehouse consistently fails at the most basic responsibilities of a supplier. 4 of the last 6 wire orders were short by at least 100' on multiple spools. That is not a minor error. It reveals a serious breakdown in accountability, or worse. The most alarming issue was receiving a spool of expensive wire with nicks and cuts throughout the insulation on more than 1,000' of a 2,500' spool. Damage of that size does not occur by accident, and it should never pass any inspection. Sending wire in that condition is completely unacceptable. The problems extend beyond damaged and shorted wire. We have received completely wrong material meant for another crew, even though it was labeled for my crew. That is basic material handling, and this warehouse can’t get that right. Each mistake leads to delays and wasted labor. The two guys working in the yard are the only bright spot. The warehouse operation is clearly broken. Quality control seems nonexistent. No one appears to verify footage, inspect materials, or care about what leaves the building. Eckart needs to address this immediately. A supplier that repeatedly ships shorted, damaged, incorrect, and unusable material cannot be trusted. Being forced to rely on a company that operates with this level of incompetence is extremely frustrating. Avoid this location if you have any alternative.

EDIT: In response to the Eckart Supply reply, I'm only using your warehouse because we are FORCED to. I've had nothing but issues with material coming from your warehouse. It shouldn't take a week to get basic material that EVERY electrical supply house should have! I understand issues come up with vendors, but 1 week to get 2" FAs is absolutely insane to me. It's a shame that good people work for such a horrible company.
