I do not recommend these ppl, I made an appt on Monday, didn't hear anything when it was after the appt, I ended up calling to see where they were at, she says they had a veh breakdown, I get it that things happen, but when u make an appt for an estimate, then dont call, very inconsiderate, not professional, so she says we will come out tomorrow same time, which was Tues....totally no word, call nothing as to why u didn't show up again...so I'm done with them and will never recommend them to anyone

Hired this place when it was still “Gutter Dads”. Scheduled a time with them, they never showed. Called and gave the excuse of family emergency. I can forgive that once, but I assume if I never called they never would have reached out. Scheduled a second appointment, did not show again. This time they did call with some excuse, but not for several days after the appointment. Scheduled a third one (third time’s the charm, right) but it wasn’t even an appointment. They just said “yeah we’ll try to get there this week”, but as you can probably guess, they did not show again. I would recommend using literally any other gutter service.

Beware of these people!!! They start up many dba companies and change the name and contact information of these companies (verifiable through Iowa Secretary of State website). Highly unprofessional, didn’t have the experience or tools necessary to do the job. The owner- Dustin Kile also has a rather lengthy criminal history, including felony theft charges. I hired them when Dustin was under the company name Mr. Iowa Fix It, they had no clue what they were doing and cost me hundreds of dollars in materials and were asking me to provide them with money up front to rent tools that they did not have (this was after the job had already began). After unsuccessfully attempting to resolve the matter peacefully, I was left with no choice but to take them to small claims court, the judgement was in my favor and two years later they still have not paid a dime! I absolutely would NOT recommend doing business with these people! *** Dustin- I have the judgment order against you, all of the original emails (including you admitting liability and offering to reimburse me for damages your company caused- in the beginning prior to ignoring me), copies of the original google reviews for Mr. Iowa Fix It, copies of certified letters attempting to collect on the judgement and photographic evidence of the damage caused by you and your helpers. You have threatened me with suing for slander in the past and I will remind you that I am within my legal rights to give an honest review of your services and inform others of your negligence and irresponsibility. I have already won a case against you in small claims court which you failed to appear for.

I hired a company who assured me that they had experience laying carpet and had experience with moisture barrier carpet padding as well (verifiable in emails and messages exchanged prior to being hired). If this wasn’t the case, the job should not have been accepted. The judgement is against Dustin Kile and against Mr. Iowa Fix It which was a dba company of Kile Investments, Inc owned by Dustin Kile. I never said I was asked for tools, I said that I was asked to front the money to rent tools (specifically a carpet stretcher and seam iron). If you are admitting your mistake and that there is a judgement against Mr Iowa Fix It then why aren’t you doing the right thing and paying what you owe? This will be my last communication here. I am not breaking any laws and am within my rights to share my experience with others, just because the company name isn’t the same doesn’t mean anything, it is still another dba company of Kile Investments, Inc (verified with an attorney). I will NOT have my freedom of speech rights threatened!

I had my vents cleaned - they did an excellent job, very timely, very precise, all around great people to work with

Shawn Kelly and his crew came out gave our duct work a good cleaning!!! Before and after photos to show also. Pure professionals easy to talk with and kept us informed what was going on ! Cleaned up and they were done . Highly recommended for this service and any other ones offer , best in town!

A couple weeks ago our basement flooded when our sump pump failed. Never having dealt with a situation like this before I didn’t have a clue what to do. I called Puroclean when we first discovered the water at 9 pm on a Friday night. Daniel took my call, walked me thru the process and arrived at the house with his team by 8:30 am the following morning. Daniel’s knowledge and expertise helped my husband and I feel at ease during a stressful point. The professionalism and diligence of Daniel, Fabiola, John, Mike and any others I may have missed were unmatched and very much appreciated!

Our dryer recently stopped working due to the vent being so heavily clogged. To make matters worse, the venting system comes out at the top of our steep roof making it difficult to reach. A neighbor of ours referred us to PuroClean, and we are so grateful. They put us on their schedule for following business day. They were prompt, polite, and most importantly they efficiently cleaned our vent. Our dryer now works perfectly again. We would highly recommend PuroClean!

This Company changed my life in seconds! My basement was flooded from a pipe bursting and they came to my rescue! I trusted these professionals so much, that I left them in my house to do the restoration most of the day. And when I came back, I was VERY IMPRESSED! QUALITY WORK in such a short amount of time! 😍 And that is an understatement! Picking them to do my restoration was one of the best decisions I've made!

Over the holidays and on a Sunday evening, our 25 gallon fish tank exploded in our basement. We contacted John and he immediately went out of his way to travel in the opposite direction to get his equipment and was at our house within a short amount of time to help us that evening (again, a Sunday evening during the holidays). For the next three days, including New Year’s Day morning, Tim came to our house to check the moisture levels, adjust the fans and talk to us about resolving all of our issues. We were fortunate to have no permanent damage or major issues but that outcome was only accomplished because of John and his team! I would highly recommend them as they are knowledgeable, professional, courteous and passionate about what they do! Thank you John, Tim and PuroClean!! Great work!!

This company was recommended to me by my realtor. Super impressed! I had submitted a contact form online and was reached out to quickly for someone to stop by and provide me an estimate.

They were very transparent and pretty much advised they’d be happy to do the work for us, but it’s pretty self-doable to fix on our own. Appreciate the honesty, which will save us lots of money compared to another pricey quote we had received from a different company! Highly recommend!

Daniel and his team were fantastic. They came out the same day and gave me analysis of the problem and what it would take to get resolved. He was responsive and professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend to anyone in the DSM area.

Our dryer was taking a long time to dry our clothes. We decided we needed to find someone to check and clean out our dryer vent. We found The PuroClean of Des Moines Team and I'm glad we did. We contacted John and he responded immediately. John and Tim arrived at our house on time and got right to work. They were careful to protect our house by wearing booties over their shoes and made sure the equipment was secure. Their equipment was top of the line! After completing the cleaning process, John shared a video of our vent with us. He was able to explain where and why we were experiencing long drying times with our dryer-we had a bend in our vent in which lint had compacted and was building up enough to cause a significant blockage. John was very thorough is his explanation and answered all of our questions. The blockage and the entire vent was cleaned out beautifully. The clean up was perfect. You would never have even known they were there! Needless to say our dryer is drying our clothes much faster now! We were very impressed with the Puro Clean Team and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services. Thanks John!
