One star for the initial phone conversation with J. Bean for professionalism. And expressing concern and professionalism when i called back after over a week waiting for a quote. But no one ever showed up and no quote ever came across. I tried for over 2 weeks before giving up. Couldn't get anyone to come by, email, call and confirm, etc. If you don't have time or just don't want the work, just say so! No hard feelings. I get it! Don't give the impression you are interested in the work/money if you have no intention. It wastes people's time waiting. What attitude am I supposed to have about your business? I'll never call you again, won't consider any marketing you do, and will warn others against doing business with you.

09/22/17 FOLLOW UP - I'm following up on this review so that everyone can have access to the full story when considering this business. The new owner Jeff, contacted me to apologize and explain things with out excuses. He says he's getting things back in order and asked that I give him another chance to prove his word next time I need asphalt services. I can't remove the 1 star review for what I experienced, but I think it's my responsibility to at least provide ALL of the information fairly for people to get an accurate picture of a business. 02/04-2020 FOLLOW UP - I gave St. Louis Paving a shot on repair of a damaged bollard post damaged by a freight truck and the concrete footing and asphalt parking lot damage around it. Andrew, the project manager was professional and responded/communicated the evaluation and quote very well. The hand-off to the crew when it was time to set the appointment and get the work done, was handled like professionals should. The crew was in contact on their way to the job, and during the work to ensure things were all in order and I was on boar. Work was done to high standard with consideration to the dynamic and future impact possibilities on the post. After the job was done Jeff, the owner came by to make sure things were in order as well. All around a 180 degree experience from what i had a coupe years back. Thanks guys!

St. Louis Paving did a fine job paving and parching the asphalt in the garage area at this apartment complex. What made this a challenge were the varied positions of driveways at each building site. In addition, each drive has different inclines. This area now has a uniform asphalt thickness and all edges are finished and blended very neatly. Walking to the garage is now much more comfortable as well as secure. And it certainly looks a lot nicer!

No more dips and rises or ragged edge surprises.

St. Louis Paving has just completed our lot, patching, sealing and striping. All completed on time and extremely well. We had several areas that needed to be patched and sealed with precision and care and they did a great job! I would highly recommend them!

St. Louis Paving handles the majority of our commercial properties' parking lot needs. We switched to them about 2 years ago and have not regretted it since. Matt provides excellent customer service and answers the phone every time we call. They back up their work and follow through to make sure that the jobs are done on time and on budget every time. St Louis Paving is top notch. They are meticulous, thorough, professional, easy to work with and friendly. They performed the work at a good pace, not hastily or rushed. I don't know what they could do to make it a better experience. They actually encourage residents to watch, because they are that proud of their work!

In August 2020, Josh and the team at St Louis Paving did a high quality job paving our 2,000 ft long and 10 ft wide entry road with 3” compacted asphalt. When developing their quote, I asked a lot of questions over the period of several months. Josh was always ready to address my questions and visited the site on multiple occasions. Although their quote was a bit higher than two other quotes, Josh”s willingness to work through the details convinced me that we were making the right choice. The crew did a great job removing the loose chip and seal debris from our existing road and over the course of two days completed the job. After the job was done and I noticed a few bumps along the road, Josh had a crew come out to smooth them out. Much later, when we were getting quotes for a new roof, Josh consulted with the roofing contractors to advise them on the type of truck weights he’d recommend. All in all, for such a large residential project, we’re very satisfied.

Everything went very smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Matt met with us multiple times and guided us through every step of the way. The end result looked perfect. This was a relatively difficult, steep, narrow subdivision but the team handled it great, working their best to minimize distractions to the neighborhood. This was the second time we have used St. Louis Paving Company, and we plan to use them for our future projects.

I decided to have St. Louis Paving work on my parking lot because of their 2-year warranty. All the other bids I got only had a 1-year warranty, but St. Louis Paving’s was 2 years. When they did the work, I could see why: The patches they installed were THICK. They were not the cheapest bid I got, but I have been burned in the past by cheap bids. I’m confident I made the right decision by choosing St. Louis Paving.

This is the second time we have used St. Louis Paving LLC to repair/resurface our street and they did a great job both times. Josh was very responsive, the crews showed up when they said they would, and they completed the job on schedule. Great to work with and reliable!

We had our entire parking lot repaved/repaired plus added a drive through for easier flow. Matt was absolutely fantastic. Always easy to get in touch with as well as extremely professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend!

From beginning to the finished job including touch up and detailing my salesman/job coordinator contact Andrew Miller saw that the project went as planned and all expectations were met.

The workmanship material and quality of work was above expectations. Including layout and striping as they have the experience and the proper equipment to do it right the first time. Feel free to look at my parking lot as I am proud of the finished product.

My main contact was with Andrew Miller one conscientious young man that made the project run smoothly and completed without a hitch.

I would recommend St. Louis Paving to anyone that wants their job big or small done right.

St. Louis Paving totally tore up and re poured our parking lot after another company didn't do it correctly. We are an open restaurant and I couldn't be closed for any longer than absolutely needed to be. St. Louis Paving went above and beyond to help us and accommodate all of our needs. Jeff, Zane, and Bill were all amazing to work with!! They were polite, friendly, they cleaned up after themselves, they were one of the hardest working teams I have ever seen. I have already recommended them to another restaurant! I finally now have a parking lot I am excited to drive on everyday when I come to work!! thank you so much for all of the hard work!!!!

We live in a private subdivision so we maintain our roads ourselves. Matt Leeker in his team worked closely with us to help prioritize which sections needed new asphalt and then they did an excellent job milling tje roads and laying the asphalt. We would definitely work with them again.

St. Louis Paving is such a professional company, they were in constant communication with me. I was in charge of finding a company to repair the pot holes and cracks in my subdivision and they had very fair prices and worked with me as I had to get my subdivision to approve all work. The pot holes and cracks were pretty big and the work they did was excellent. Everyone is pleased. They came out and marked all the spots and within a few days, they were there in the morning with the trucks to fix it by the time I came home about 10 hours later is was finished and looks fantastic. I highly recommend them.

St. Louis Paving did an excellent job on repaving the roads in my subdivision. The company was very responsive to the varying needs of the residents in the subdivision. They took great pains to ensure all were pleased with the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to have their roads repaved.
