Work was completed in a professional manner. The system is working as it was designed and promised to do. Most communication was done through email. These panels are in addition to a system that has been in place since 2013. The additional panels work to provide sufficient power in conjunction with the existing panels to fully provide power for the home and to change an EV.

We are very happy with our 2017 decision to go with Solar Liberty (SL). In practical terms, we are on pace to pay for our panels through energy cost savings in about one year. I would state for the record that our shift to solar was more of a moral decision, but the cost savings and the exception customer service provided by SL were real sweeteners. It is the latter benefit--customer service--that needs to be emphasized. Anyone reading this review will understand my assertion that customer service is a lost art. Twice in the past two years I have had to call on SL for help rebooting my system's communications. Get this: A real (and very pleasant) person answered the phone. I was transferred to a real (and very patient, pleasant, and even funny) technician who guided me through the process of rebooting the system, telling me along the way that he was intent on saving me the expense of a service visit. I offer Solar Liberty my full and enthusiastic endorsement.

As a former Solar company CEO, I can recommend Solar Liberty without hesitation. They use the best equipment, employ competent, friendly professionals and do what they say. Very refreshing! I have not met the owner, but should I have the chance moving forward I would congratulate him/her on creating a great company, doing great things, one project at a time. 👍👍

Based on the outstanding service received, we have now purchased another system from Solar Liberty, this time for our home. Clayton followed up on our inquiry with a timely, well prepared proposal and once construction started the crews that did the installation and the electrical system were punctual and efficient. Kelli in the office kept us well informed and answered all our questions. The system has only been working for less than a week and we're generating more electricity than we're using. That's the whole point isn't it. One other solar company wasn't at all prepared when they presented a proposal to us so we went with Solar Liberty and they did everything they promised. Quite happy with the whole experience.

This company is very knowledgeable about solar installations and working around old (historic) homes. I was pleased to see a well versed project management team that can assess not just for location but the entire electrical system as a whole. Their engineers are experts at fitting the proper system with a homes energy demand. They follow-up with every detail. The assigned staff to a project are approachable and readily return calls and emails. I would recommend this company.

This was the second time we worked with Solar Liberty. Initially, we had panels installed on our garage roof. After several years, the roof needed to be replaced. We contacted Solar Liberty about removing the panels and putting them on the ground. They could do it for a fee and we also decided to install more panels. Looking back, I wish we never had them installed on a roof. Overall, very pleased with the installation. Would prefer more face-to-face and phone contacts. I’m not so tech savvy.

Solar Liberty has been great to work with. I will be starting my second project with them later this year. I have recommended them to friends of which some have purchased systems from Solar Liberty and I will continue to recommend them to anyone interested in a solar system.

July 2013 Solar Liberty installed 20 rooftop panels. This past July the solar power generated surpass the 20,000 mark. We are elated !!!

I went with Solar Liberty for my house solar panels in 2017. It was one of three companies as part of of the Solarize Amherst (NY) program and by far, the one that provided the best customer service. As part of the program, there was a contracted price. The difference between the companies was the layout and efficiency of the panels. That's where Solar Liberty won. And with the experience of five years behind me, their power estimates actually underestimated the actual power generation of the panels, giving me even more free energy. Underpromise and overperform is a great way to run a business.
